The manager Sid was so helpful and patient. He explained everything fully . The only downside was not his fault but the credit check team who approved my husband’s new phone but didn’t follow through the paperwork and so Sid had to put it through again. I will definitely be changing my phone from O2 in the very near future

I've been served by brodey in three for the longest time. And now they're working a Vodafone he's been just as helpful and lovely. I'm so happy with the new phone and SIM he's sold me and he was very helpful with transfering my data cross to my new phone. I'll always recommend Vodafone and especially Brodey when he's in.
The other staff who help him when he asks questions seem so polite and friendly too. This is certainly a store I can trust and will carry on coming to whenever I need.

We visited the Meadowhall store today and were looked after superbly by the lovely Loui.
As two "older" customers we were impressed by his patience and how well he explained all the next steps. Nothing was too much trouble and he found us a great Broadband deal. Loui is a credit to the organisation and we'll ask for him on future visits.

Where do I start? I had a 4g Mobile Hotspot. Connection not good. Eventually sent it back. That was eight weeks ago. Vodafone response nothing. Told them to cancel DD. They still haven't. Then they sent me a text quoting last digit of my phone. Not my number. Talked about roaming charges. I've never had roaming chances. So phone okay BUT 4G mobile hotspot was reurned asking them to cancel DD. They haven't No answer, No response. No service. Keep away from Vodafone. Service appalling
Have tried twice reaching out and talking to what you call customer services. You have all these conversation. You have two letters. You have the return of thr 4G Mobile Hotspot. All you have to do is acknowledge all this and CANCEL the DD for this product. At the moment I will continue with the mobile phone but getting very near the point of returning this as well. Now, don't ask me to reeat what I have already said in two chats and two details letters. You have all this info. ACT . Let me put it this way. I ran my own company. Okay no way as big as Vodaphe. If I had learnt a client had written two letter, returned the product, tried twice to talk, and was writing to this site, I wouldn't say, "okay you've had five attempts, why not try for a fifth and maybe you will get lucky" Vodafone if that is your service all who read this should run a mile from you.

Vodafone — 22 years of loyalty, but I’ve had enough
I’ve been with Vodafone for 22 years, and unfortunately the standard of customer service has declined dramatically over that time. The last seven years in particular have been extremely disappointing.
Over the past six months alone, I’ve experienced repeated problems with mis-selling, billing, poor communication and an app that simply doesn’t work properly. One of the most concerning issues has been Secure Net, which was added to two separate Vodafone contracts despite me explicitly declining it.
I have two Vodafone numbers. One is a SIM-only contract. When I took this out, Secure Net was offered to me three times and I explicitly declined it each time. Despite this, it was still added to my account without my knowledge.
I then upgraded my second Vodafone number — a phone and SIM contract — in the first week of July 2026. Secure Net was offered again, and once again I explicitly said I did not want it. Despite this, it was added to that account too.
I subsequently received a message telling me that the free period was ending and that I would be charged £2. I cancelled the Secure Net on the upgraded phone, only to discover that £2 had already been charged to me in July. I then received another message saying I would be charged a further £2. That's when I discovered that this was actually relating to the SIM-only contract — the other Secure Net service that I had never agreed to in the first place. Had I not noticed the messages and taken the time to contact Vodafone, I would have been charged another £2 at the end of August. So, despite explicitly declining Secure Net on two separate occasions and two separate contracts, Vodafone had added it to both of my accounts. I was charged £2 on one and was about to be charged another £2 on the other — £4 a month for services I had explicitly said I did not want. And this is what concerns me most: what happens to customers who don't have the time, confidence or ability to scrutinise every charge on their bills? £4 may seem insignificant to a huge corporation, but if 100 customers were incorrectly charged £4 a month for 12 months, that's £4,800 taken from customers in a year. Across a much larger customer base, the cumulative amount could become substantial. This isn't about £2 or £4. It's about the principle. If a customer explicitly says no, the service should not be added. I also expect staff to take ownership when something has clearly gone wrong, rather than minimising the issue or making the customer feel as though they have misunderstood something. The amount of time spent trying to resolve simple issues is another major problem
Nothing seems to be quick or straightforward with Vodafone. Even when I am calling about something that should take a few minutes — such as “Can you explain this charge on my account?” — I can easily spend 30–40 minutes on the phone.
There are often very long periods of silence while the adviser supposedly checks information. I've been left sitting on the phone for one, two or even three minutes at a time with absolutely no communication, wondering whether the call has even disconnected. Then there are transfers between departments and further periods of waiting while information is supposedly being checked.Between 31 July and 13 August 2026, I've had to spend a significant amount of time contacting Vodafone about the Secure Net issue, the billing problems and the wider customer-service concerns. Something that should have been simple to resolve has turned into repeated calls, lengthy waits and having to explain the same issue over and over again.
Billing is unnecessarily confusing
I've also found Vodafone's billing incredibly difficult to understand. A simple question about my bill can take 45 minutes or more to resolve. I have been given partial figures without a clear explanation of the remaining charges, including handset payments. I have then received further payment requests or direct-debit attempts for amounts I was never clearly told about. On one occasion, Vodafone initially told me they had not attempted to take a particular amount from my account. I provided evidence showing that they had, and only then was I given an explanation of what the payment related to. This shouldn't be happening.
The Vodafone app also has an ongoing login issue which I have reported repeatedly, but it still hasn't been resolved.
What makes all of this particularly frustrating is the lack of accountability when these issues are raised. Rather than simply acknowledging an error and putting it right, I often feel that the problem is minimised or that I'm made to feel as though I have misunderstood something. After 22 years with Vodafone, I am exhausted and disappointed by their conduct.
