Got straight through to a customer…

Got straight through to a customer service representative, no waiting on hold. Ran from Nectr Team was very friendly, and prompt with helping with my enquiries and explaining my current energy plan.

Service and Operating Policy

Krizza was most polite and efficient in responding to my enquiry on behalf of an 86 old lady who was unable to competently manage online correspondence.

As an observation, and this is no reflection on Krizza, but rather, the Company's operating policy, I would like nectr to be mindful not to deny elderly people access to its services simply because of age, as they are still a valuable part of society and deserve our assistance and patience.

Best Energy Provider

Nectr is the best best energy provider in Australia! When you do an online application they just transfer within 2 business days others have done it in 5 business days so that's excellent! Their rates were really cheap and I used the $50 use a friend discount where you get $50 of the bill you and your friend.

Keep away Don't join this electricity company

Keep away from nectar energy I have been a faithful customer with nectar electricity for a long time now.
When I want to transfer to another place it would do a transfer of power to another home.
It came up not good credit check as I have got an good and i rang them for help to resolve that and they didn't help at all.
So now I'm going to another company if it could get a negative star rating I would give it a -10 stay away from this company don't join up with it

I wish I had read reviews before…

I wish I had read reviews before changing over. I have never had such expensive bills. I would not recommend changing your electricity to Nectr. I was guaranteed lower bills and my bills have doubled in price. I am so disappointed 😞

The app ruined NECTR for me…

The app for Nectr is terrible, it’s confusing it crashes, you have to login with a Email and password every single time, even after setting a pin every single time it doesn’t use or give you a chance to use the so called pin that you set in your previous log in.., the staff aren’t productive enough in regards to correspondence, It just feels like a lazy company. Only good thing is that you can pay your bills monthly.

FRAUDSTERS

Everyone thinks this company has low bills etc….
WAIT UNTIL YOU CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT AND GET A MASSIVE FINAL BILL!!
I only have electricity use for lights TV fridge etc… no hot water or cooking …I travel for work and some months am away two to three weeks.
My bill was between 50-70 dollars a month even with that…
I’m going OS with work and closed the account after only 6 months with them. They are asking for 711.00 as the final month’s payment. I was not even in my unit for that month.
When questioned they responded I was underestimated for the six months…
RIP OFF FRAUDULENT COMPANY.
They get you in the door with cheap prices but sting you with massive amounts at the end of your time with them.
BE VERY CAREFUL UF YOU ARE EVEN THINKING ABOUT USING THEM.
The person who lived in the unit prior to me worked from home and said she had the dryer in 25/7! She was with ORIGIN and her bills per month were never over 60 dollars.
DO NOT USE NECTR.

Warning of nectr if you have now high solar cells feed in

Turns out the feed in excess is basically nullifying the savings. you pay 12c p/kwh more than if you used their standard plan, 24c p/kw for non solar, 34c p/kw for solar users. the caveat being that if you have more than 300kw feed in, you basically end up being charged to the tune of 0.9c p/kw. my bill went from 0.81c (offset by $106 feed in) to 117.98 due to those charges.... which is more than the actual flapping bill.

so basically, in winter you end up paying high prices, and in summer you pay them money to feed in solar (more than the actual bill). considering my son pays 24c p/kw (no solar) and has a bill of 120 per month, and I ended up paying 115 (with solar pannels), solar pannels ended up being a pretty crap deal for me.

In adding these two charges plus your latest charges is $0.81 that will bring your total balance to $117.98

Here we are !

Yes I was one of those people happy with my provider...then along came Anthony, who impressed me from the start with his cheeky,fun personality.
Anthony explained things to me thoroughly.I had left my phone at home so without hesitation he said he would call in to our home after work..which he did..& here we are now customers with Nectr !
Thankyou for such a pleasant experience.
We need more Anthonys in the world..

Deception and Lies

Nectr signed us up in person in a shopping centre promising one year of a fixed energy plan and promised the monthly fee to be fixed as well for 12 months .Nothing could be further from the truth , yes it was fine for the first few months and then was hit with a bill 10 times the normal monthly promised bill . Also I am on a pensioner concession card and entitled to $340 concession a year in the last 6 months Nectr has only granted one concession payment of $25 total . Also I referred a friend under the illusion of a $50 rebate if friend signed after her first bill. We both received no advertised $50 as advertised. Honestly in all my 50 years of living in have never been treated so appalling. When I rang Nectr tonight the operator just kept saying can't hear you and bad reception and just sat stunned on the other end of the phone when we obviously were disputing the bill and appalling lies.
