Without request tickets got refunded- now cannot rebook.
Parents got stranded on Bangkok Airport due to a cancelled flight, trying to rebook them was not possible as CheapTickets cancelled the tickets and applied for refund, meaning the flight operator could not help us anymore. CheapTickets never didn’t do anything to help, other than quickly apply for refund without our permission. Buying new tickets is impossible due to the high prices they now want.
You cannot speak to them, and if you’re able to get a hold of them they won’t help. Next time pay more via a different company.
Update after reply:
We never asked to refund, and CheapTickets did that without our consent. Because of that, the operator was not able to rebook the flights anymore. They told us very clearly CheapTickets caused more problems by doing that.

Wanneer een vlucht wordt geannuleerd en de luchtvaartmaatschappij op dat moment geen directe alternatieve vluchten in ons systeem beschikbaar stelt, wordt vaak een restitutie aangevraagd om de reissom veilig te stellen.
Wellicht zijn er alternatieven naar omringende landen die voordeliger zijn.

We always want to help where possible, but we are dependent on the options the airline provides. In this case, the airline does not allow adding baggage through their system. This means it can only be arranged directly at the airport.
