Kind and very professional
We were treated so well by Co-op Manchester (Levenshulme - Errwood Road) from the very start of our dealings with them after the sudden and unexpected death of a family member.
They were thorough, respectful and kind throughout.
Special thanks to Arowen and to Andy and his colleague (sorry I didn’t get his name) on the day of the funeral. Andy even took time to comfort and give tissues to a distraught family member.
The celebrant they recommended was also caring and excellent. Thankyou

Scheduled funeral care Appoinrment.
We arrived for our scheduled appointment a member of staff greeted us and showed us to a private room. Explained everything,once we had decided which funeral package we wanted they promptly dealt with this. The staff member was professional,freindly and very helpful in the whole process. All in all a very well presented and professional service provided by the coop funeral service in Bathgate West Lothian.

Good initial service but poor follow up
Staff were helpful and well informed when I set up the funeral plan for my father but the paperwork didn't arrive by email, as arranged. It took three further calls and an email to finally get it sent through - so, good initial experience but slightly let down by the follow up action, or, inaction.

The Co op are there for the community…
The Co op are there for the community and their funeral service is no exception. Funerals are expensive whichever company you use, so wisdom suggests using a company owned by the public which I think makes them stronger; especially when investing your hard earned money. I obviously haven't tried out their service yet, so can only comment on my reasons for choosing them. There are detailed explanations on the variety of levels offered, and it makes a lot more financial sense than taking out an insurance, especially if you live for a good many years further.

Spot on service but very script based.
The customer service was spot on. My only difficulty was the speed and strong dialect with which the colleagues passed information on. I understand that they have to read from a prepared script but pronunciation and enunciation make a huge difference. Other than that, great service.

Recently I lost my mother in law and we used the Coop for her funeral.
I was so impressed by the respect, empathy and professionalism shown by the staff that I have recently taken out a funeral plan with them for when the inevitable happens.
