Able to understand everything very good Thank you
The operative was very clear, concise and knowledgeable and I was happy with the outcome of the deal.
Staff really caring and explained everything about the pre planned funeral. No issues when doing my Mum's but there was a cliche when we came to do my Dad's. The member of staff was outstanding, ashame that head office had not sorted this out as it was happening frequently. Rearranged another date but this time it would be over the phone, still would not work. eventually someone from head office rang and the funeral was pre planned.

I chose, and then paid, for a Silver Plan online. It was easy to do, and very straight forward. I had previously popped into my local branch (at Sunbury on Thames) where the staff were able to answer a couple of questions I had about the Silver Plan. And also some information on "orders of service". I have no hesitation is recommending Co-op Funeralcare, and it was the only company I considered. Many thanks.

Victoria dealt with me at Broxbourne and was understanding, friendly and professional. She was very well informed of all the different types of funerals supplied through the Coop and was able to answer every question I had. I would not hesitate to recommend the Coop and the service they provide is excellent.
Head office explained lots of things i hadn't been told, very informative and put my mind somewhat at rest.
Bought my plan online. Very straightforward all sorted in 10 mins.
Had to wait three weeks after our initial enquiry before anybody got back to us. Not impressed. Was about to enquire with another funeral director when we were contacted.Had a face to face appointment, computer system not working.Ended up doing it online. That was easy enough.I like to talk to a person thats why we made a face to face appointment.Overall, not impressed with the time we had to wait nor the malfunction of the computer system.

Laura was excellent, but the Company policy process of her having to read from a script on the laptop greatly detracted from the ability to have a personal meaningful discussion on the matter in hand.
Laura did extremely well in trying to work with the script for my questions and to allow conversation between us to flow, enabling me to feel more relaxed talking about arrangements following my death, but it was difficult to get away from the question and answer proscribed format.
I had previously researched and decided on which plan I wanted, and with which I am very happy. However I would not recommend to anyone who needs some level of supportive discussion around this difficult subject for most, as this ‘script’ approach is really not appropriate or helpful.

The staff is very good. The only improvement that I can suggest is for a personnel member to attend at the care home for more comfort and clarity. It is more convenient with the person purchasing the plan. Via telephone is not that too clear for some.

Good & courteous experience overall score would have been higher if the computer system hadn’t hit a glitch (took a couple of weeks to resolve)
Thank you.

For myself, planning for the future.
Excellent service. Very informative and helpful. Staff are very friendly. Karen was able to answer all my questions and offer suggestions. Highly recommend.
My husband had cancer and in December 2025 he stopped all treatment. So after Christmas we made the hard decision to go to the co op to arrange his funeral. CHRIS HARDING dealt with this for us and it made the final days worry free. He died at home on 15th March 2026. I am so glad we had it all arranged and paid for it took one phone call and everything was done for us. The lady CHANTELL at our chosen funeral parlour BARNET was so kind and helpful throughout, so much so that at the end of April 3 days after my 76 birthday I went back to Barnet co op booked and paid for my own funeral. Once again help by CHris. And Chantell. She took the time to sit with me and comforted me whilst I told her about my husbands passing. So no I can carry on with my life knowing I have dealt with everything. My children can morn me and not worry about a thing. So thankyou Chris and Chantell for making the worse time of my life that little bit easier to deal with..❤️❤️❤️
The consultant Katy was both charming and competently guided me through the process and despite IT issues remained calm, professional and found a route to circumvent the IT issue. Payment was easy and I left satisfied that my cremation was in the hands of professionals and the burden lifted from my children.
Very easy to buy plan. Impossible to modify. Your admin system Very poor, repetitive and unhelpful. As an elderly person, disabled and struggling I asked a team member to ask her manager if my request was possible. No answer received after more than a week. Since asked to cancel plan again no response. No way to follow up without starting again. Why can't you track my correspondence?

It was a simple process but full of thought. No awkward decisions to make but full of gentle suggestions.
I was able to clarify all my questions with clear answers. It was a relaxed conversation but always professional and reassuringly experienced and knowledgeable.
