'Walter' The AA Man In West Yorkshire Is A Credit To The AA

My AA breakdown technician was 'Walter' (West Yorkshire Region)

I could not have asked for a better technician.

Very friendly and extremely helpful.

I had a flat tyre without a spare. Walter put on a space saver tyre and followed me to the local tyre garage, then made sure everything at the tyre garage was ok prior to finishing.

He worked extremely fast and had me moving again in no time at all.

He also made sure I was able to get home safely after having to leave my car at the tyre garage overnight.

A real credit to AA.

The live text notifications for updates on when I would be recovered also worked really well. Initially I was told I would be recovered within a two hour window. The text messages then informed me I would Be a further 10 minutes. The AA arrived exactly when they said they would. Cannot ask for more.

Paul the AA mechanic turned up and went…

Paul the AA mechanic turned up and went straight to it,he explained what was wrong and what he would be doing,he was an older gentleman so he went back to old school and was very knowledgble and within in 10 mins he found the fault and fixed it right outside my house,I've been with the RAC for years but they let us down with there knowledge and they brushed it under the carpet,I just wish we was with the AA from the beginning,so.its the AA for me and the family from now on.

My car wouldn't start so tried to ring…

My car wouldn't start so tried to ring AA - automated service advised emailing or using app to report the problem which I did.
Patrol engineer Simon kept in contact via text to let me know and update re arrival time.
Diagnosed problem immediately (flat battery), recharged this and escorted me to local garage where car was booked in for MOT.
Great service from Simon but I only gave 4 stars as I dont have the AA app on my phone and I think emailing could be tricky in some areas where there is poor signal or tech skills aren't great.
This was a home start and not urgent so maybe an actual person answers the phone in a more acute situation.
Anyway, thanks to Simon, lovely bloke doing a great job!

I had the AA out to do my rear breaks…

I had the AA out to do my rear breaks and pads and the engineer that came was professional,clean and clearly knew his job. Talked me through the repair and showed me the parts he had changed
Couldn’t have wished for a better service at a very good price
