Good, bad and the ugly!
This review reflects PureGym as a company, rather than a specific gym. Regarding Falkirk, the equipment is decent and the staff are friendly and helpful. No problems there. However membership prices are unfairly disproportionate, with new customers getting full year memberships for half the price at other facilities! Not a good way to treat loyal patron's👎I can't see why they can't offer the same deal to existing customers, providing they're willing to purchase another full year?

Pure Gym Falkirk - let down by members and their phones
My joining Pure Gym in Falkirk was smooth and fast due to the assistance of Iain - who kindly talked me through the entire process. I was surprised by the quality and range of up to date machines considering the low monthly cost. Great upbeat atmosphere in gym also a surprise. Looking forward to my next session. Update: three months later I cancelled my membership due to lack of gym etiquette by majority of members who sit on machines between sets for several minutes playing on their mobiles. Layout wise and equipment wise this is a good gym but spoilt by too many selfish members (with too many phones) monopolising weight machines.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.

Temperatures and air conditioning in our gyms are automatically regulated by Smart machines, but if there is a persistent issue staff may be able to override it and can certainly report it to be checked by engineers. Thanks, PureGym.
