Recommend headphones to drown out staff
Nice clean gym, wide variety of machines and weights. A few cable machines and racks, so not a lot of waiting around. I joined this gym as it is open 24 hours which suits my work schedule.
I have not attended classes or used a PT. This is due to overhearing one female PT discussing a gym user with her female client. "I would be embarrassed to leave the house dressed like that" were the words she used about a young woman in gym shorts and a sports vest.
Normally, as a woman, I would have used female lead classes and paid for private PT, as I do in every gym. No chance of that happening in this place.
Two male PT were laughing at someone using a machine incorrectly. When I asked why they didn't help him they said "It's natural selection".
Adequate gym if you know what you're doing and can ignore judgement.

First time going to a gym
I was incredibly nervous about going to the gym as I had never been before, I was over whelmed with the amount of different machines to use and what exercises would benefit me for weight loss. I went with a friend and I am so glad I did, it wasn't scary and people just do what they need to do with no judgement.

I love being a member off pure gym…
I love being a member off pure gym lovely personal trainers I get alot from the classes I do and is helping me to gain my fitness goal and I am a criminal justice recovery navigator which is a high stressful job coming to pure gym classes after work really helps me to maintain my own mental health and I look forward to having that time to myself to do something for me it's been an absolute game changer so thankyou

The young man who showed me how to use all the equipment was Ryan. Spoke well explained all the equipment very well. And atmosphere was good.

Our gyms are indeed very popular and so can become busy especially at peak times, but this does fluctuate throughout the day. Members can also use the members area via the PureGym app or website to see how many people are in the gym.
Please also feel free to ask to switch in with a member while they rest between sets, this can also help you keep an even pace between sets. Thanks, PureGym.
It's not what I'm used to
It's not what I'm used to. It has everything i need in it. But gets very busy and has alot of people who just sit on phones and take machines up by doing this.

Poor maintenance
Only two rowing machines working which were taken by a large group doing a circuit along with the only two Ski erg machines. Water dispenser out of use as well. Poor

Very quick and easy. I have downloaded the app and it looks great. Haven't been in the gym for ages but I'm looking forward to getting back into it.

Cable machines sticking
I like PureGym and the facilities and equipment are fine however I’ve noticed that some of the machines like the lat pulldown back machines and some of the cable machines are starting to stick. This could lead to an injury as they go tight then loose again.

Staff do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should be broken.
