I had booked a appointment and was told would take around 30/40 mins to change 2 front tyres and tracking .i waited 2hours until completed which messed my day up .after the guy said he couldnt reset my tyre pressure as couldnt see how to do it .i didnt pay attention as just wanted to get out of there .straight after driving off had air bag sign come up along with other lights and didnt realise until next day that all controls including horn was not working .i called them they said nothing to do with them tbey dont touch the computer system .but having googled they could of knocked the sensor or broke the sterring coil ? Something like that they said i can go in for diagonistic but im sure they will not admit fault so i dont see the point in going back just wont ever use them again

Always get my tyres from protyre in Bideford the booking is easy and the price for the tyres is very fair, also the work gets done quickly, the staff are very friendly and I would certainly recommend them

Called in to get a tyre repair and was told need a new tyre. Opted to change the two on same axle. Was told that tyre brand wasn’t available and best price was for 2 at £180 each approx.
Decided to have a look on line and discovered that I could get the tyre brand I wanted and it would be £40 less from same garage (Protyre Leyland). I booked it.
The fitting and service was excellent. However the initial contact and suggested pricing etc was not.
Have always used this garage for many years. Not so sure anymore

The 1st garage I rang near me to do the same work was £385 so that's less than 1/2 price !!
Also the manager had just sacked a member of staff for not working very hard after his holiday so they were short staffed lol

I turned up without an appointment. Said I needed 3 new tyres. The guy behind desk looked up my details as I'd used Protyre before and gave me a quote which was very acceptable. I agreed price and offered to come back another time. He said they had a cancellation and could do it now. Sat down and had a free coffee from their machine. The guy doing fitting wonderfully located lock nut which had fallen into space side of boot. Soon had job done and I was paid up and away. Service with a smile 😃

Very professional service at Bideford which advice around correct tyres.

Marked one star down due to the Protyre website not providing the correct option when booking initially, which meant I had to attend Bideford twice. This is no way reflects the quality of service from Bideford.

Please review and update your website to ensure correct tyre speed ratings for electric cars are appropriate.
