The online tracking information was never updated. I finally called Mirador and they reported it was out for delivery. that afternoon. we had other commitments and had to contact the driver to reschedule. we are happy with the product but it was a little confusing without updates to the online tracking leading us to believe it hadn't shipped yet.

We absolutly love our mirador Pergola
We absolutly love our mirador Pergola! the louvers work great! It was an easy assembly and install,start to finish. It took 4 guys, 9 hrs. There were only 2 things that I thought needed more attention.
1. a little better description on where to put the gearbox so that the louvers open the correct way .
When facing the gearbox on your upper right hand corner, the louvers will pivot open, left edge up, right edge down.
2. During assembly, when tightning the screws,use low torq screwguns with slow speed. The screws are stainless steel, and stainless tends to be harder and a little more prone to breaking. I found that running screws in half way ,backing them out, then running them in the rest of the way worked for me. This is an excercize in PATIENCE! "WARNING!!!!" DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! That's when the heads will snap off!
Outside of these 2 items, everything went together very well . Its a great product, well engineered and very well constructed. there were very few steel Pcs., those that were steel, were all Stainless Steel, so there is not any dissimular metal corrosion to be concerned about! Regular high carbon steel and aluminum placed together tend to corrode badly . That corrosion was avoided by using stainless steel. Good engineering practice!
One other note; 3 Months after we completed construction, we experienced some really bad storms with 70-80 MPH winds for 15-20 min. No damage!
For the first time in 20 years, we now use our patio because it's kept in shade and stays cool !!
We love our Pergola!

Good overall product.
Pros:
Product is pretty much as shown. Decent quality, and comes packed well. The assembly is not too difficult. Diane in Cust Service is very helpful.
Cons:
The drawings in the instructions are difficult to follow in places. Sometimes three of us were failing to understand the illustration. Also, the third party LTL carrier (CEVA) was not prompt and I had to get ahold of them to jar my order loose. Finally, I was off by about 1/2" in my assembly and as a result the screen is ill fitting. The tolerance is too tight for the screen.

The instructional video was especially helpful. Was able to assemble it myself. Watching the video makes it easier to follow the instructions.
We live on the shoreline of Lake Michigan. And the umbrella has held up, especially well. Except in the highest winds. Tip: maneuver, the backside to the strong ones. Works exactly as advertised. Would purchase it again.

I was very disappointed with the…
I was very disappointed with the delivery service. Products damaged, was told I had to be there for a signature and they dropped it on my driveway without me being home. Customer service never informed me of the long delay in the replacement item. They said to me, they would contact me when the replacement item was shipped and a signature was required for that as well. They never contacted me and one day way to a replacement pot was delivered by FedEx and not the carrier. Took several calls to arrange the pick up of the damaged item. Very disappointed and too much time to deal with the shipping issues, days off, work for deliveries, and poor follow through on customer service overall, I’m happy with the product, but everything else was not acceptable or handled in an organized, professional manner.

Well-Built Storage Box That Could Be Even Better
Overall, I'm very happy with the Mirador storage box. Once assembled, it feels very sturdy, looks great, and provides plenty of storage space. The finished product is functional, well-built, and complements my outdoor setup nicely.
I do have a few suggestions that could make an already good product even better. First, the assembly instructions would be much easier to follow if the individual panels were clearly labeled. There were several occasions where I had to second-guess which panel belonged in a particular location, which added unnecessary time to the build.
Second, a few of the panels arrived slightly warped. I was able to get everything aligned by carefully using a rubber mallet, but straighter panels from the factory would make assembly much smoother.
For future versions, I'd also recommend adding a few support bars underneath the floor panel. The storage box is solid overall, but additional bottom support would provide extra confidence when storing heavier items.
Finally, it would be great to see an optional weather cover designed specifically for this storage box. If the current materials and finish are already intended to withstand long-term outdoor exposure without a cover, then that's excellent. If not, a fitted protective cover would be a valuable accessory for owners who want to maximize the lifespan and appearance of the product.
Overall, despite these suggestions, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The storage box is attractive, sturdy, and serves its purpose very well. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality outdoor storage solution.

Mirador’s pergola is just as advertised. It looks great. The quality of the materials is really good. The parts fit together and are finished with quality.
It was delivered organized with all of the parts needed and the installation instructions are clear and easy to follow.
I would definitely buy again if I was looking for a pergola.

Packaging was solid but some pieces were bent from the factory when they packed it, had to beat them out with a hammer, also instruction left a lot to be desired. Made it work and will keep it after waiting about a long time to receive it.

Wow - that's a big box.
Packaging and delivery were excellent. The process of un-screwing and re-screwing was tedious - but it made sense. At one point - I couldn't figure out where certain pieces were - so I called support - and the operation/support person solved my problem in 5 minutes. It was that "one thing that we get a lot of calls on" But I was grateful - the part was there after all.
