Really easy to use and find a car that fit my requirements. Was able to test drive a few cars and was happy with the service received. There was a really long wait for each part of the service though... See more

Jamal who looked after us throughout the buying process was brilliant. Polite, professional and knowledgeable. He made the whole process easy and straight forward. Top member of the team.

Dont even consider this company, the salesman whom I believe was called Carl did his utmost to convince me to trade in my current car. I politely explained that is is a company car and for some explicable reason he still pursed with this in his desperation to make a deal.in spite of the inevitable high pressure over priced
add on sales which i politely declined, i went on to purchase a vehicle from them. This is where the fun begins! The car developed a serious banging noise from the front OS wheel within 2 Days, the response from this company is of course to refer you to the 3 month warranty that is provided with the car by a third party company called Assurant., i am now 2 weeks into a discussion with this company in order to at a minimum investigate the issue and no bookings have been made by them to date. My recommendation to big motoring world is to improve the training of the sales staff as clearly selling your company car as a trade in vehicle could be career limiting! Good luck to you if you engage with this company!
UPDATE after the response from BIG MOTORING WORLD.May i ask what you plan to do about it besides sending and a bluntly pointless response, I am sure the readers and listeners will look forward to the next dismissive response, DATED 24 August 2026.

I bought a Ford Puma at the end of May 2026 from the Leeds branch, as a cash buyer. All seemed okay until it was in the garage 8 days later due to the hybrid functions not working. Warranty wouldn’t cover it so after 3 days of constant phone calls and being without a car, Big Motoring World agreed they would pick up the repair cost to replace the 12v battery - this is after they asked me for a photo of the air con not working…
Fast forward to the start of July and the car won’t start. I then get it back in the garage, at Big Motoring Worlds request, and I requested to return the vehicle. I spent a further 3 weeks making multiple phone calls a day until Big Motoring World agreed to accept the vehicle back. I was told that I could take it back to the Sheffield branch - 2 more phone calls later and I was told that they would allow me to return it as a “one off” but they would be taking deductions - after 3 weeks, this was the first time hearing about any such mileage deductions. I returned the vehicle on Saturday 25th July. On the Monday, Verity from Big Motoring World contacted me to say she would be taking 45p a mile deduction from my purchase price for the 2000+ miles I drove - all with the car being faulty. For the next week, Verity actively avoided my 3 phone calls per day and took over 24 hours each time to reply to my emails. She was unable to explain or justify the mileage deductions and avoided answering any of my questions. Verity was completely incompetent in her role and used bullying tactics to force me to agree to a completely unjustifiable mileage deduction, knowing full well they had my cash therefore I could not purchase another vehicle.
I have an ongoing case with the Motoring Ombudsman regarding the disgusting service this company provided, and the lack of explanation for the 45p per mile deductions.
I truly would recommend to avoid purchasing a vehicle from Big Motoring World at all costs.

Purchased an EV car from Big motoring world with 3 months warranty. The warranty is worthless as none of the approved repairers work on EV vehicles . For the last month Big motoring world and the warranty company keep passing us between the both of them with no one accepting ownership of the issue . Dragging the issue out until the 3 months expires. Big motoring world staff Lucy will not pass us on to any manager who can help because they are all having a nice weekend although there customers are left with faulty vehicles . Not the place to buy a reliable car from and expect support if there is a problem.
Absolute disgrace of a motor sales showroom. They wanted name. Email address and phone number before you could even go to look at the cars. There was no way I was going to do that and get phone calls after I had been there, so we were refused entry. Receptionist was rude. I have bought cars from Mercedes and Land Rover and have never had to do this.
Three hours I’ll never get back!
Overpriced and pushy!
Don’t recommend

I would like to say a huge praise to sales executive Ali, who was absolutely fantastic from his first greeting to my daughter and I to the final congratulations hand shake goodbye! Nothing negative to say and Mashhood was also great but Ali takes the trophy.

Daughter in law purchased a car from them. 20 days later, we find brakes discs are below OEM legal minimum and seized track rod ends. Raised issues with after sales department - still not resolved. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 raised the issues with trading standards and with the Finance Company and RAC - awaiting results - do not touch Big Motoring World with a bargepole.

**BEWARE**
We arrived at 9.45am on 20th Aug 26 after putting a deposit down on a car. James was our salesperson and everything was good as he showed us the car had a test drive etc. Then we got to the paperwork and the figures and things went downhill. (We had previously visited on 16th Aug26 and a different salesperson had explained that there was a leeway of £2k when P/E your old car which we understood as they cover that as that is how it was explained it after we questioned it. The other thing he told us was you could not have 2 car loans at time in one name which proved to be incorrect)
Back to James when we discussed the P/E the £2k leeway meant that this is added to the new car which inflates the payments to an extra £100 approx. We discussed warranty which was overpriced and we decided we could do without it. At this point James attitude towards us changed and he challenged us regarding the warranty and became pushy asking us to reconsider. We didnt so this was the point were he lost interest in us. He completed the sale and told us the car would be ready for 1.30pm after having a full valet and assured us the stains on the upholstery etc would be removed.
Amy then took over and assisted us completing the finance forms and was very helpful. She issued us with a form and we were instructed to go to the post office to get the V5 as they did not have it. She also assured us on our return to sign in and ask for her on return from the post office. We arrived back from the post office at 2.30pm and signed in and asked for Amy. We waited and could see Amy in her office. I went over to the office and asked to speak with her and was informed they would let her know. 20 mins had gone and still no one attended us I went back to the signing in desk and complained as we were waiting for a £25 refund and did not know if the car was ready .I was then informed Emily in collections would be dealing with us and would be 10 mins. After 10 mins still no one attended us we spoke with a manager who went to talk to Emily and was told we had a 2 minute wait. 5 minutes later Emily saw us and went through the collection process and said the car still was not ready (3.15pm) at 3.25pm we were shown the car and the valet we were promised had only been done to the outer vehicle the inside interior had not been done. They were still the stains on the upholstery amd crumbs etc.
At this point we needed to go as we had urgent things to do, so we mentioned thst we were disgusted with the customer service and would not ever purchase a car from them. To be honest they are not bothered and do not take customer feedback seriously. However, lesson learnt ALWAYS read the reviews before visiting a showroom as people write them to help others.
NOT EVERY ONE IS A KEYBOARD WASTER!!
I REALLY HOPE MY REVIEW HELPS OTHERS AND THE CAR HAS NO PROBLEMS LIKE SOME PEOPLE HAVE EXPERIENCED!!
I WILL UPDATE IF IT DOES.

Found the car I wanted , had a test drive , paid a deposit and went to collect 3 days later . There was a lot of confusion over the valuation, balance and RAC warranty to the point where I nearly asked for my deposit back as I felt under so much pressure , but the manager eventually offered a deal I was happy with. I did have to ask several times for a puncture repair kit as it was missing , there were no mats either .Faiaz in handover was very friendly and helpful, and apologised because it took so long to get the sale sorted , not that it was in any way his fault . He very efficiently sorted paperwork and taxed my car . It had 8 months MOT left on it but not serviced which I hadn’t realised till I arrived home . I queried it and was told that the 200 point check they do takes the place of a service , I checked with Nissan and have booked a service with them because of the manufacturer warranty , just something to be aware of

This is the 4th time I've purchased a car through Big Motoring World because it's so easy and straightforward with these guys. They have a huge selection of cars and excellent after sales support. The staff are super helpful and explained everything very well. My salesman on this occasion, Karim, was brilliant. The extended warranty they offer is worth taking a look at.
