I’ve been a customer for many years and, overall, they are genuinely an excellent insurer. My experience with them has been consistently positive, which is why this review is only about one recent issue that was a little frustrating — and the reason for deducting a single star.

As part of a birthday promotion, I received a voucher for a free coffee in the form of a QR code. The email included an option to download the voucher as an image, which I did. The downloaded image clearly stated: “Valid until 14th of April”.

In the first week of April, I tried to redeem it, but it was declined at the till. The assistant asked to see the original email, and only then did I notice a small-print note saying that the voucher was actually valid only until March 31st. Unsurprisingly, the system rejected it.

It’s hardly a major problem — more of a minor annoyance than anything else — but having two different expiry dates on the same voucher setup is unnecessarily confusing and could definitely be handled better.

Was quoted €530 for my car insurance renewal with another provider. I thought I'd try 123.ie and was expecting to pay the same if not more, and was shocked to see €390!

Hello, I do not recommend this insurance company because I've had insurance with them for over three years and they can't explain why I can't change my car and address through the website they created. I am very dissatisfied; they charge me €91.00 just to change my address. I was very indignant about this rip-off because I think €10 would have been a fair price, since three sheets of paper they send to the address cost €91.00? That's ridiculous! 😜 And the customer service representative even had the audacity to ask if I wanted them to send the new disc to my address or if I could send it by email so I could print it myself. I complained to them about changing my address and car online, and they said they had resolved it, but I've logged in over 100 times and the same things always happens. They just see ice, that's all.

Lost keys . broken windscreen , nothing a problem and all dealt with very efficiently.very helpful
