Car Play for Mercedes c220d

When I made inquiries about the Apple car play to choose for my car, I got a very good response and advice and Ray the engineer communicated well with me since the day I paid for the box until the day of installation which made me happy . I will recommend this company for your go too car play, lighting and other car extras . They are the best

Great Screen, Excellent Customer Service.

I recently purchased a 350z android screen from
Vehicle Multimedia Systems and I'm happy with my purchase! Some pros and cons.

PROS:

1. Fast Delivery:
Compared with other competitors (Such as Nifty City or AliExpress), my unit arrived much faster than others were able to dispatch. I received my screen just under a week after purchase, having read the other stores listed above were making people wait 3+ months.

2. Excellent customer support:
I chose not to go for the engineer installation, as i felt I would be capable of doing the install myself, however during the process I did run into some issues with the wiring, however they were all too happy to help, the unit itself doesn't come with instructions, but when you contact them, the advice is clear, and they leave no stone unturned to get your device working, very impressed.

3. The device itself is really good, I was half expecting it to be laggy after reading reviews from competitors, however I was really happy with the unit, its fast, smooth and really modernises the car.

4. UK Based -
Makes liaising with the seller so much easier than rivals.

CONS:

1. More expensive than others:
The unit I purchased with Apple Carplay, was £1k. Significantly more than AliExpress or Nifty City for example. However the pros of the outweighed the cons for me.

2. Compatibility:
Just double check when making a purchase they have all the information available to send you the correct product, my unit was meant for a slightly earlier model 350z, however this wasn't a problem in my eyes and a little modification to the climate control dash sorted the fitment.

Overall I'm really happy, my experience wasn't a perfect one, however I still feel these guys are a really solid option to go to if your wanting a newer looking head unit.

Disappointing follow up support

Sold me a multimedia system for my bmw. Waited a couple of weeks for the installer to get in touch and after a few cancellations by the installer we got it in. Initially the support online was good but then it completely dried up. Emails not responded to. They kind of just leave you to work it out for yourself with a next to useless user guide. These guys clearly know their product but more support needs to be given to assist in what the product can and cant do. Disappointing.

Had a 12.3 inch android screen fitted…

Had a 12.3 inch android screen fitted today with CarPlay, really good pricing and the results speak for themselves, super quick and easy process start to finish from ordering to install. Would highly recommend and will be using again when I decide to upgrade my car.

1 series android carplay

I recently had my 1 series screen changed by VMS and the experience was fantastic! The team was knowledgeable and attentive, helping me choose the perfect upgrades to enhance aesthetics. They worked efficiently, and my car was ready ahead of schedule. I highly recommend VMS for anyone looking to elevate their car.

Amazing start to finish!!

Went to VMS for a second time to get my ambient lighting done on my X5 F15, and fully in love with it. Has completly transformed my interior and driving experience. The lads you can see straight away they love working on cars and enjoy every part of installing the kit and seeing the result just as much as I did as a customer. They are very knowledgable about cars and made me feel very safe in leaving my car being stripped part for hours till they finish. Couldnt recommend them enough, everyone check out there work, highly recommend. Second time getting ambients done now with VMS!!

Very happy thanks

The ordering and fitting of the sync 3 was very easy, great service from Ray who supplied and fitted the unit .
The unit was fitted in a Lincoln mkx which is the first one they,ve done in the UK, done a great job, very happy thankyou.

Installation issues from day 1

Installation issues from day 1. Rear camera installed fell off after being installed on the same day. An error was left due to disconnecting cables during troubleshooting the installations as the controls were not working, this error came up after starting my car which became very annoying, it also meant i could not see genuine faults dring this time. It took over 3 weeks for the issues to be resolved which required constant chasing. After having paid almost £1000.00, I have received a parking fine for £100.00, although they asked me to park in their work area in Coventry. The sales manager did try to be helpful, however still relied on me to work with the engineer. The whole end to end experience has been the worst and i could not honestly recommend this company or their services to anyone.

Unfortunately sometimes issues slip through and can compound which has happened in your case, that's on us and we're constantly working to improve our products further to avoid this with your feedback.

Regarding the parking fine, I believe our engineer has been in touch to pay your fine for you. They had picked a secondary location with more shops and amenities availabile for your convenience while the installation took place and unfortunately did not check parking restrictions. We do still maintain that it is the responsibility of the driver of the car to check for any parking restrictions and pay accordingly however.

Again, we apologise for the supply issues and are actively working to mitigate them further. Our engineers, while being contracted by us, will be briefed accordingly to ensure the best experience is maintained for our customers. Thanks for your feedback and understanding!
