Tread carefully…

Tread carefully…

All seemed well until January (steering wheel controls failed) the company effectively ignored my requests at the time and well life moves on, it’s not my only car etc etc

Now my head unit has died after 14mths, upon contacting the company afresh it transpires they are unwilling or indeed able to service the products they sell and I’m sure it’ll turn out that they are in fact bargain basement Ali-express tat.

Such is life, like I say tread carefully and to rub a little salt into the wound the company flatly refuses to speak with me, hence this review.

Am off to the Jaguar and Audi forums now…

You did not offer a discount against a new unit and I quote “We can take £50 from the traditional installation cost of the screen (£160) and offer travel-fee free mobile installation”

2 I did not ask for a free device quote “Any discount? It’s only 14mths old.”

3 for missed communications check your what’s app starting 9th November and then you went quiet on the 9th January.

4 when requesting to speak to a manager the response was and I quote “I've already spoken to him about this, he would tell you the same thing”

As I say tread carefully.

We’re genuinely sorry to hear you’ve had a negative experience, but we do feel it’s important to clarify a few key points.

Your unit is now over 14 months old and therefore well outside of its warranty period. As stated at the time of purchase, we’re unable to offer free replacements or repairs once the warranty has expired. In addition, the model you have is now discontinued and the motherboard is no longer serviceable, meaning repair isn’t technically possible.

Even though we are under no obligation to do so, we still offered you a discount and reduced installation cost on a new upgraded system as a goodwill gesture.

Regarding your claim of contacting us in January, we have no record of receiving any communication from you. Had we received it, we would have responded promptly as we do with all customers.

We always strive to support our customers fairly and transparently, but we also have to work within our warranty terms and technical limitations. Please do not expect us to give away free products with threats on leaving bad reviews.

Avoid! Using cheap products from Ali express for a fraction of the price! Broken equipment, poor customer service

Where do I begin?

I am absolutely furious with my recent experience having an Android screen, reverse camera, and front/rear dash cams fitted to my car! Immediately after installation, the screen failed to connect to my phone and the car’s entire audio system stopped working, including the reverse sensors and every single noise the car use to make, nothing! Completely quiet. To make matters worse, both dash cams only power on when a door is opened which is completely useless, since they don’t work while actually driving which I thought was the point?

Out of frustration, I looked up the hardware online and found every single component on AliExpress for a fraction of what I was charged. Feeling completely ripped off, I emailed the company to ask about their massive mark-up and wasn’t surprised when they replied: “We could charge 1000% in theory.” That level of arrogance is unbelievable.
I am now over a thousand pounds out of pocket, with an Android screen that failed within 24 hours and dash cams that serve absolutely no purpose. Instead of receiving support, I was met with rudeness and dismissiveness!

If you value your money and sanity, AVOID THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COSTS. They are happy to overcharge for cheap products and clearly don’t care about after-sales support or the quality of their installation.

Just to clarify, front & rear dash cams are £55 on aliexpress. I was charged £170
The android screen is £170 on Ali express. I was charged £430!
I appreciate businesses need margins. But when you’re buying and fitting absolute garbage into peoples cars, you expect a little more quality? Maybe im mad!

I’ll be paying a proper company to rip this utter shit out!!

Shortly after, you contacted us via WhatsApp regarding system issues, which we promptly addressed the same day. Our team guided you through the necessary steps to restore functionality—steps that were required due to changes made to the system settings after installation. As confirmed by yourself, everything was working when the engineer eft and only after you changed the settings you changed the configurations, which we still supported you through.

Regarding your concerns about pricing: we understand that online marketplaces like AliExpress offer lower-cost alternatives. However, these products often differ significantly in hardware quality, software compatibility, and warranty support. It's like getting a iPhone 16 over a iPhone 10, completely different hardware's/softwares which customers won't necessarily understand. Our pricing reflects not only the product itself but also the convenience of local installation, direct technical support, and peace of mind from working with a UK-based company. We stand by the value we offer, including same-day assistance and post-installation guidance. You had the option to go with China brands before you ordered from us why didn't you? It's worth noting that you had the option to purchase directly from overseas suppliers prior to placing your order with us. Choosing a UK-based provider like ourselves typically reflects a preference for local support, warranty coverage, and professional installation—benefits that aren't always guaranteed with international purchases.

We’re disappointed that despite our efforts to resolve your concerns, you've chosen to publicly misrepresent the situation, and every time we have support you, you have decided to find another excuse to raise, ultimately trying to make us look bad. We always aim to support our customers—even when issues arise from user modifications—and we believe our response to your case reflects that commitment.

Regarding your comment "utter shit" about the installation, it's worth noting that you expressed satisfaction and enthusiasm when the work was completed. Had you raised any concerns at that time, our engineers would have been more than willing to address "utter shit" immediately and ensure everything met your expectations.

Just had my rear parking sensors fitted…

Just had my rear parking sensors fitted on my car, Ray and his team (Antony & didn’t catch the other guys name) did a great job I’m so happy they also fitted my new car stereo for me too as Halfords in Portsmouth wouldn’t do it, being an old car it needed new wiring too and the guys gave extra time to get it done for me, great guys I’m pleased with the work would highly recommend, I’ll definitely use again

A seamless experience all around

A seamless experience all around. The Customer Service team was outstanding, offering clear advice on the product and the delivery process. Once the screen arrived on schedule, installer Ray was fantastic. He was efficient, completing the installation in just over an hour, and took the time to walk me through the new system's features. The price may be on the higher end, but the exceptional service and expertise make it a great value.

100% would recommend

Got a reverse camera fitted by Vehicle Multimedia Systems that I bought from Amazon on a car more than 20 years old. They came to me, fitted the camera and tidied up the wiring in my car with no fuss, finished within 25 mins. Very good pricing. 10/10 would recommend

The system arrived with the technician…

The system arrived with the technician after a very long delay due to chasing the order and a date for the installation of the unit.

The system itself, after being fitted, looks nice, but the buttons stick at times.

The touch screen could be more intuitive and have a faster response, but in conclusion, having apple car play, a navigation system and internet connectivity, is better than nothing.

I wish I also received a manual with instructions as it’s hit and miss trying to operate the system without really knowing what things do, regarding navigating the system.

The lads turned up on a Saturday afternoon to install a aftermarket HUD unit on a brand new model Y 2026 Juniper Tesla and did a fantastic job. Saved lots of time and very professional. I’ll use them again happily! (BTW the AMD and wiring is on the driver side, right side, unlike the older model Y which was on the left!)

These guys know their stuff

These guys know their stuff. I recommend using VehicleMultimedia System. My car’s new upgrade with a Tesla screen makes my car unique and special. Ray and his team are polite, dedicated and efficient at what they do.

CarPlay unit for 2013 BMW F11

Bought a CarPlay unit for my 2013 BMW 5 series (F11). Unit works great. Simple to fit but fitting was offered if you don’t feel like removing parts of the dash. This is the first time I’ve tried one of these CarPlay boxes and I’m really impressed. First time using wireless CarPlay too! Cheers!
