Bought a kitchen and the white goods from Glo tech about 2 years ,well within the year there were issues.
The stainless steel sink has become badly scratched ,looked up the make and it had such poor reviews 91 % one star
I was surprised the product was used .The interiors of the unit again poor quality
None off this was advised during the design stage .
Trying to complain meant taking photos and took a good 4 months for anyone to look at the issues ,resulting in being fobbed off .Further ongoing complaints again about the sink have got nowhere— I think I was sent a tin of stainless steel wax which I think is supposed to do something— not sure what !!
Would not recommend their after service is appalling !

Do not order anything from Glotech
On 23 January, I placed an order for a washing machine that was advertised on Glotech’s website as “in stock.”
After paying the full amount, instead of receiving information about a delivery date and time, I received an email stating that the washing machine would first be delivered to them within 5 to 10 working days, and only after that would they inform me of a delivery date to my address.
This raises the logical question:
Why is a product that is not available advertised as “in stock”?
I waited until 29 January
(a full week), without receiving any confirmation as to when or whether a delivery would take place at all.
I sent several emails asking if there would be a delivery and when, but received no response.
For these reasons,
I cancelled my order.
On 29 January, I received an email from Glotech stating that the refund would be passed to the accounts team for processing.
However, until 2 February, there was no movement whatsoever on the refund.
On 2 February, I called by phone.
The employee I spoke to told me that no refund request had been submitted at all, despite the fact that I have a written email from 29 January stating exactly the opposite.
After the call, he also sent me an email stating that he had supposedly requested the refund, but he had not actually done so either.
On 4 February, I emailed again, because when a refund is genuinely requested, the amount appears as “pending” in your bank account on the same day.
This did not happen.
Only today, 5 February, after
I wrote through an open PayPal case, did the seller mark the order as refunded, and the amount appeared immediately as pending in my bank account.
This clearly proves that the refund request was made only today, on 5 February, and not on 29 January and not on 2 February, despite the two emails claiming “confirmation.”
From everything described above, it is clear that:
• Glotech advertise products as available when they are not.
• They unjustifiably withhold money for cancelled and unfulfilled orders, using false information.
• They provide false information regarding submitted refunds.
There is no reasonable explanation for why a refund for an unfulfilled and cancelled order is delayed for so long, except financial benefit for the seller (e.g. VAT claims for non-existent sales).
Extremely unprofessional and misleading behaviour.
I recommend avoiding this merchant.

I recently purchased a Bertazzoni Professional Series range cooker from Glotech. I could tell it was going to be a pleasant customer experience as soon as I walked into the showroom and was greeted by Ann Taylor. She was friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We made a decision on a Saturday, then on the Tuesday the new cooker was delivered, installed and old cooker taken away. The engineer & other service people were equally competent & polite. Loving the features of the range cooker as well as its sleek appearance - a real showpiece in our kitchen.

We had to change our induction hob recently and bought a new one from Glotech. We paid for installation and for them to take away the old one, the gold service - so an extra bit of money to get everything done properly. So far so good. Unfortunately, the hob is defective (these things happen from time to time), so we immediately called Glotech. However, not only are they refusing to help, they also charged us for a call out visit where their engineer did nothing. The product is less than a month old! I've now had to go directly to the manufacturer, so I still can't cook properly and have nothing to show for the money we've spent. Extremely unhappy and annoyed.

I had a dishwasher delivered and installed by Glotech, and I’m incredibly disappointed with the service. While the delivery itself was on time the installation was careless and unprofessional. The technician managed to dent my wall while fitting the appliance, and didn’t even acknowledge the damage or offer a solution.
I expected a basic level of respect for my property, but clearly that wasn’t a priority. I have had no apology. I won’t be using Glotech again and would strongly advise others to think twice before trusting them with any installation work.

After my washing machine was unrepairable I had to look and buy a new one . Most important to me was that it was freestanding and fit neatly behind an existing door .
Barry LISTENED to my requirements especially how the need to fit behind door.
Many manufacturers washing machines
were too deep but Barry sourced a few for
me to choose from . I chose a Blomberg
LWA1846W which was carefully fitted today by installation guys . Also great guys .
Barry exceeded my expectations by making a courtesy call to check all was OK after installation. I couldn't be happier with Barry ..a credit to Glotech

Booked a repair with the company. Unfortunately my wine cooler could not be mended so the engineer kindly measured the space available to install a new one. I ordered one of the coolers recommended by GloTech and it was installed 2 days ago. The installers were fantastic - nothing but perfection satisfied them! Really happy with my new cooler although registering it with the manufacturer proved a little difficult. However a phone call sorted it out and I am now all set. Thank you to everyone involved at GloTech for their advice and expertise.

Barry was simply fantastic! I telephoned and got my local Finchley Central shop. Once I spoke to Barry I felt in safe hands. He immediately assisted me with identifying the correct washer/dryer for my needs and literally took over from there. Efficient and smooth purchase to arranging installation. I have been using Glotech since about 2004. I am so pleased to see that the standard of service has not fallen and there is still a local company delivering to local needs! Well done Glotech! Do not change- merge- employ call centres and computers to answer your calls! In the long run you will become unprofitable as you will lose your USP!

We ordered a fridge explaining dimensions, fitted kitchen over the phone. We were promised a call back to book installation. We had to chase twice
When the engineer turned up he had the wrong fridge for our fixings. He promised the office would be in touch with a new installation date.
They didnt call so chased again
Second installation visit they turned up with wrong hinges. They were forced to adapt the wrong fridge to fit into our recess but left us without the fitted kitchen door attached.
Third visit re-attached the door. This process took weeks and each time we had to be at home during the working week.
On the positive...engineers were so apologetic and worked hard when they were with us. The company were just very unorganised.

Dreadful service and sold a dud.
We called them to look at a 5 year old German freezer that was not functioning. They charged for call out and said it needed to be replaced.
We accepted this advice and ordered a new one from them.
Delivery dates were messed up and they fitted the “new” freezer but it didn’t go below 4 degrees! They said we had to call the manufacturer because they couldn’t do anything. The manufacturer indicated that we needed to have special ventilation vents for their freezer (something Glotech failed to note) so we had to arrange for a joiner come in and fit vent pannels above and below the freezer at a cost of £400.
Then the manufacturer’s engineer eventually came and found that the appliance was faulty and it had to be taken apart and a new component fitted.
Feels like the Glotech people knew this all along. They charged for fitting the appliance and left it not working properly and failed to note that a special vent was required by the manufacturer.
The people I called at Glotech were particularly unhelpful and I would never use this firm again.
Dreadful service attitude and possibly they were aware that they sold me a duff freezer.
Very unhappy with Glotech and being sold a faulty freezer.
