This was the best thing we did while in Chicago! The tour guides were fantastic. So knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! I would recommend this to anyone traveling to any city where it is available.
what fun. We had 3 tour guided because of the on and off. All were great. The folks manning the curb side waiting were friendly and fun. Everyone had great suggestions and history lessons.
We even had a stow away. A crow joined our tour bus.
It started to rain and they gave us ponchos. They were so personable.
Great hop on/off tour. Had several different guides and all were very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Highly recommend....will use them again next time I'm in Chicago!
Fantastic experience with Miss B and Miss Bianca, they really made our trip special with all the information and especially the laughter. 5***** 100% we loved it!
Made our first visit to Chicago from the UK one to remember. If you could bottle her humour you’d be a millionaire for sure. xx
One of the finest hop on hop off tours that my family and I have taken. Wonderful experience - excellent guides, fine buses and caring staff.
The staff very kind and the stops in the right place.
An okay experience, but the guides are the downfall. We hopped on and off and each guide told a different statistic or review of the city. Our first guide needs a lesson in who the customers are and that we are paying for this tour. "Jack" needs to learn that he is there for the customer not himself. He actually told our friend to hush! She was talking to her husband quietly while looking at the view, but because he was telling a story about himself he didn't want anyone talking. Really, I am 50 years old and I am paying for this tour, I don't need to be hushed while talking to my husband. If we were loud or screaming and disrupting the tour, then of course we should be talked to, but that was not the case. Not sure we will pay for Big Bus again, maybe try the Tolley instead.
good tour.limited area.but bus good,tour guides friendly,efficent.a bit overpriced
Recently took my daughter on a Big Bus Tour and we really enjoyed ourselves. This is something I would recommend to tourists and long time locals who haven't shown their kids around as well as they should (like me).
Ken the tour guide was funny, engaging and knowledgable!
We loved being able to jump on and off the bus to help save us on the walking! Also, the information given was very informative and the employees were excellent. Sometimes the app didn't give the exact location and we missed a bus but that was more of a cell issue. Thanks so much for a great experience!
Great tour guides and I loved the bus that had a heated roof area. I wish the app had shown live bus tracking as promised and that the tour buses had stopped running at 5:30 instead of 4:30. Even with those glitches, I recommend the tour.
We were in Chicago for the 2nd time for St Patrick's Day. We prepaid our tickets for the bus and other attractions. It took us 2 hours to find stop # 1 because of the crowds. The app kept running us around in circles. Also the app is supposed to show you were the buses are and it just did not work. The times kept changing. Wanda and Ms B were wonderful. I thought this bus would be a great way to see the city. We found out most of our day was lost standing and waiting for buses when we could have eaten and seen more. All in all at least 4 hours of our day was standing and waiting and I was so upset we had no time left to eat or see more. We spent so much time waiting for the bus that when we did get to a stop we had to actually run through to see what we needed to see. All in all hours wasted we could have walked and seen things. But, the women were wonderful and so nice to us.
Enjoyed very much. Even during the coldest season eeeeever...
Our visit to Chicago was Friday to Monday. On Friday BB was closed, Saturday, Closed. BB opened for Sunday for in time for a wonderful day. The next day... the storm hit, coldest temp ever.. Glad BB was able to run on Sunday to allow us to visit the beautiful city of Chicago. Their services are extremely professional. Recommend to all my friends.
The tour guides were great and the red route to all Chicago attractions was great. We enjoyed the service very much.
Purchased the deluxe ride. It was a great way to see Chicago. The hop on hop off was the best. We were able to see things differently each day.
GREAT thing to do/see so much in Chicago. our guide & bus driver were fabulous...so friendly, and so informative. it was a cloudy day, so upon getting on bus, we were given plastic ponchos. I thought this was a nice touch. you see a lot of Chicago & we learned so much of our loved city. thanks big bus.. :):)
We went on a couple of buses & the tour guides were extremely knowledgeable. The best was Mario’s bus rour guide (sorry forgot his name, but it wasn’t Luigi). He made it fun as well as interesting! Even the kids enjoyed it 😃😃
