Delivery guys were great, dropped dryer into where it needed to be situated. The tracking info was incorrect and when i I called the contact centre i was told it was just an IT glitch! Also had to pay twice for 1 delivery as there are 2 items
I’m giving 2 stars because the package did arrive, and undamaged, but everything else about it was poor.
I bought a large piece of garden furniture online, and had a message from this delivery company saying they were going to deliver on Friday. No good for me as I had to go across country for a funeral.
So, I tried to amend the delivery date. ABSOLUTELY IMPOSSIBLE. Click the link in the email, you’re taken to ‘Upgrade your delivery’. I didn’t want to upgrade, I just wanted to rearrange. Managed to eventually get round the shouty ‘Upgrade’ advert, and got to a page where you just get stuck in endless loops. You need a tracking number, but no tracking number is supplied in the email. I tried taking the last block of digits off the email link, hoping that might be a tracking number. Used it in the ‘Rebook my delivery’ section, which takes you to ‘Upgrade my delivery’ again. Navigate past that and you’re back to where you started. As a user experience, the website is not fit for purpose and very frustrating.
In the end, it was absolutely impossible to rebook, so I had to get a friend to come round and wait in. I got a text late at night the night before delivery, with a time window of three hours the following afternoon. The friend kindly came round to house sit. Half an hour before the delivery window, I had a text saying “the crew are running three hours late”. My friend agreed to stay, even though the delay message arrived so late that it was massively inconvenient for him.
Eventually, the delivery guys turned up. He let them in and said “Straight through and anywhere in the garden.” They brought the four heavy packages in (a two-man job), dumped them on the kitchen floor and left. My friend couldn’t lift them by himself, so there they stayed.
Based on my experience, from first contact to actual delivery, I would never recommend this company. Crap customer experience.
Again, what an appalling level of service. This is the second time we've been badly let down by this terrible delivery company (last December and now May). Both times we were given lies that their van 'broke down'. Last Friday our 2nd new Sealy should have been delivered. By 12:50 it has only just left their depot! We were told there was a 3 hour delay...but they ended up not delivering it at all and didn't even bother phoning us to tell us of the situation! We have made repeated calls to AIT. We called them again this morning, 3 days later, and we still have no idea if or when they will deliver! Also, in our experience AIT do not take care of your purchases. In December our 1st new Sealy divan bed base was delivered damaged (the cardboard side had a huge hole in it). When it was replaced, the delivery guy was the same man who did the damage and he confirmed he did it with his knee when loading it onto his van! Items are treated like footballs with no care being taken. We have paid a lot of money for these divan bases and much greater care should be taken of other people's property. It is just so stressful and frustrating dealing with AIT. We would never, ever recommend them. AIT, we have lodged a complaint with Sealy about your appalling levels of service to us.
The two guys delivering were fantastic but the company communication was very poor - we were informed about a 3 hour delay in delivery time but that was it no promised phone call 30-60 minutes before our slot !!
We had no choice but to accept our delivery at 10pm at night!!
The driver was very apologetic but it was t their fault they were loaded 3 hours late at the warehouse !!
The date of delivery was set but I never got a 'time window' for that day as promised. I phoned the next day and was told there was a 24 hour delay. once again I never got a time window. The next day, I did get a time window (1335 - 1535) followed an hour later by 'a 3 hour delay'. My package eventually arrived at 1845. Frustrating to say the least.

Appalling customer service. Avoid! If you are a corporate they will kill your brand image. I had paid for 2 beds to be delivered and built. Ait called me to say they would only do one instead of the 2 I paid for! Refused to do anything to resolve the situation even though they could have instructed their driver to do it. They use subcontractors and don’t pay them properly so you are not even dealing with Ait.
They keep us updated by text messages which was so useful but they deliver with 3 hours delay without any updates or replying to our calls.
