Extremely disappointed with my experience using Zola. The platform is advertised as an easy way to combine and manage registries, but it created more problems than it solved. I had multiple duplic... See more

Our guests funded our honeymoon through the registry. But we can’t withdraw that money without a US bank account. They never informed us this beforehand! Avoid like the plague!!
Terrible customer service. I bought a gift card on a friend's wedding registry. She reached out and told me the code for the gift card wasn't working and encouraged me to get a refund. Zola refused... See more

They make it impossible to transfer out…
They make it impossible to transfer out cash gifts over $1000. I’ve spent three days being talked in circles by their customer service and each time I call I get told the issue is something different. Terrible experience that still hasn’t been resolved.
I tried to book the wedding couples…
I tried to book the wedding couples gift online and it never would go through. I called and talked to Customer Service and booked the exact total plus a $3.99 a card. The handling charge should have been $2.50 like it showed me, but they jumped it up to five dollars. I think they need to get their act together!
Terrible experience
Gifts are marked up. Terrible customer service. A year after our wedding, my wife and I are still trying to get a gift that was purchased by a guest. We have sent multiple emails, ofter getting the same robot response, and calling often ends with frustration and zero answers.
Unsecured and dodgy site
Unsecured and dodgy site. My friend used them for their wedding website, I gifted cash through Zola on there and their website was hacked, the funds stolen. They tried to cover it up but eventually stop responding to emails when questioned. Very dodgy site with poor security, and will not do what's right by their customers when THEY let the money get stolen. Shameful.
If you order and think it will ship…
If you order and think it will ship within a day or 3 > your sadly mistaken.. You see the rating on this site?? Why do you think its so low.. DONT WASTE YOUR time with this company.. SO many more better places to order.. DO NOT concern yourself with the cash you are saving from ordering here.. Pay more and have it shipped within a day or so.. Trust the reviews you read.. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Unreliable
I signed up and started using it and out of nowhere the site and app stopped working. Guess that's what you get with a free site. Went with one of these paid ones, so glad I did. It's been rock solid.
Rip off
Thought it would be wrong to expect our guests to pay any fees associated with the gifts. Zola kept $1,000. Rip off
Poor customer service
Poor customer service! Zola.com wedding registry is not good as far as I am concerned. I ordered a bunch of stuff and they said delivery would be a certain date and it was not delivered to either myself or the bride- to-be.
Then when I tried to call for help, I could not get through to a person for help, and I am still waiting for a return call back to straighten out this mess. Not only do I need gifts for my niece, but the money was already withdrawn and I've got nothing!
Currently trying to track down a $200…
Currently trying to track down a $200 gift I ordered six weeks ago that the bride and groom never received. No tracking from Zola. Unreturned emails. Currently waiting on hold...it’s been 20 minutes....
Zola is a scam
Zola is a scam! 6 items ordered. 3 haven’t arrived yet; 3 arrived in totally smashed boxes & 1 even had the forklift holes in it; several packages looked likw they came from secondary sellers!! & trying to get through to Zola to complain was impossible. Check out the registry but buy directly from the company, not Zola. Cheaper prices, too! Zola is a scam for the poor unsuspecting brides
Terrible Customer Service…
I ordered a cast iron skillet through Zola for a wedding gift. When it arrived, it was wrapped in brown craft paper inside the shipping box. The shipping box was dinged up a lot - too damaged to wrap. I had expected that a wedding website which sold wedding gifts would send gifts that could be wrapped, but Zola’s customer service would not acknowledge the problem. The least they could have done was to send me a new box. But they decided to do less than that, which was nothing.
Shower Gift not received --Embarrassing!
Purchased a shower gift on May 20th for a June 3rd Shower. Part of my order arrived in time. The other part said in processing. Customer service said it would not be back in stock till July 24 and expected delivery was July 28-August 9th. This is unacceptable. If item was not in stock it should have said this on the site that it was unavailable or I should have gotten an email so I could choose something else. It was embarrassing to go to the shower with only a small part of the gift. This was a 12 piece OXO Good Grips glass serving set. Something I could have bought from multiple locations and had it delivered on time. Very disappointed in this company.
I used Zola for the cash registry
I used Zola for the cash registry. The site is a bit confusing as you cannot just go to Zola.com, login, and then see your gift tracker (where they keep all of the money sent to you and where you can choose to transfer it into your own account). Rather, you have to go to the URL that was created for you when you made the registry and then find the gift tracker from there.
I have read not-so-great things about using Zola for things like cards and actual gifts but for the cash fund it was the best option that I found, actually, and in the end I was able to transfer all of the gifts safely into our account. If you are looking for a site for a cash registry for your wedding that doesn’t take an insane percentage from each gift, then this is a good option.
AVOID THEM
Terrible site. Shipping takes forever, customer service is unable to do anything (cancel, refund, track orders...), and there is no self-service online. I've been waiting on a knife for almost three weeks now. It was a $180 purchase, and they can't tell me where it is, when it will arrive, or how to cancel it. I would not recommend to anyone, and I won't use it for myself or another bride's registry in the future. I hope all of their vendors bail.
Terrible save the date experience
Ordered save the dates and they came out terrible. Faded picture, clearly something was wrong with their printer settings. They only provided a partial refund and when I got a proof using the same photo from minted, it was noticeably better, far better coloring. Do yourself a favor and use Minted instead.
SCAM AND HORRIBLE SERVICE
I can’t stress this enough - DO NOT USE THEM FOR YOUR WEDDING REGISTRY. It has been the worst experience- apparently Zola can’t know if a guest purchases an item from your registry if it wasn’t bought through Zola (we linked registries at target, C&b, Amazon). Even though the only way to access our registries on these sites was through the link on Zola. We get emails saying items were bought - sent by zola. They show as purchase on our registry. Then they reappear as available. Our guests are lol very frustrated bc meanwhile they’re getting four plus emails asking them if they bought items after they’ve already said they did. Zola is impossible to reach for support - it takes hours and all they have said is they can’t know bc these are third party sites. Yet, they can see on their end items were marked as purchased by guests yet their site doesn’t display this. I wish we didn’t send our shower invites already bc this is absolutely awful. We’ve gotten 20+ duplicate items, some can’t be returned, and Zola is just deleting things from our registry, but these things show up if you go directly to C&b etc. 0 stars!! DONT OFFER W REGISTRY OPTION IF YOU HAVE NO TECHNOLOGY TO SUPPORT IT
Beware of buying gifts that you intend…
Beware of buying gifts that you intend to bring to a shower. This is the second time I have ordered gifts from the registry to take to a shower. They do not come in original packaging but in cheap, terrible looking flimsy boxes. Why is this? I ordered a beautiful Libby pitcher and glass set. Both came in these horrible looking boxes that I'm supposed to wrap and have the bride open in front of everyone?
The first time I bought a beautiful Creuset piece and the same thing...a cheap horrible box. I would like an explanation for why it can't come in the original package. My 91 year old Mother is calling me about a gift she ordered to bring to the shower and is embarrassed and doesn't know what to do. You shouldn't have to re-box a gift. Also, I have been on Customer Service for over a half hour when it said 11 minutes. Terrible experience all around. Also...the mark up on gifts is astronomical.

Save your money! No customers support during hours stated. Items pictured are misleading and over priced for what you’re getting. Returns are only credited towards future purchases.
dishonest website and company
dishonest website and company. They charge you for reoccuring subsciptions that don't exist.
Horrible!
Horrible!! Girls stay away!!!! As guests we want to go off a registry, only for convenience but this site advertises different prices and things out of stock! When asked they blame the stores !! Funny you can’t leave a review on their website only if your vendor yeah I wonder why? Do yourselves a favor and register elsewhere targets better than this.!!!
