Extremely disappointed with my experience using Zola. The platform is advertised as an easy way to combine and manage registries, but it created more problems than it solved. I had multiple duplic... See more

Our guests funded our honeymoon through the registry. But we can’t withdraw that money without a US bank account. They never informed us this beforehand! Avoid like the plague!!
Terrible customer service. I bought a gift card on a friend's wedding registry. She reached out and told me the code for the gift card wasn't working and encouraged me to get a refund. Zola refused... See more

Tops were awful, don’t waste your money.
Tops were awful, only superficially similar to those shown. Described as breathable cotton when they are polyester.
Do not use Zola for your registry
Do not use Zola for your registry. They will pretend items are available and take money for them, only for them to not be available or take 2 months to get to you. My wedding was May 18th and the expected shipping date for one of my items (a Chef’s knife) is July 15th, and two of the main items we wanted were listed as unavailable the day of our wedding with no notice or anything so we received lesser gifts instead. I’ve tried to contact them but their customer support is purposefully hard to find/contact and they do not answer promptly, if at all. And they won’t give you your money back either, only “Zola credit” which forces you to buy goods from them anyway, even though you’ll never receive them. Terrible company and zero accountability.
Don’t use this online company
After my order and money taken from my account, I then received email to say they were unable to despatch goods as I had given an incorrect address. This was not the case. I then had no response to my subsequent emails and no item received. Seems likely to be a scam company. If I could give no stars, I would
Item ordered but never received
Item ordered but never received. Just another scam
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ON EARTH.
DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF USING THIS COMPANY LIKE WE DID. A DISASTER
I orderd like 7 items through amazon…
I orderd like 7 items through amazon clicking on Zola registry. Only 2 items showed up in their registry. I would not trust such a site in future and will not deal with them at all. Would avoid them at like a plague as they will mess up the registry and may result in someone else also ordering the same items.
Samples do NOT match what they will send out for guests
Ordered a sample for our save the dates, looked great so I ordered the rest. First of all, they look like the wish version of the sample. Faded and "off" colorwise. The sample is green with gold lettering. The actual order is like a blue spruce with copper colored font. So they do not match our theme now. Not even the worst part though... there's dark printing lines across every single one (other than the sample, of course!). I've emailed them twice. No response. No phone number to call. I can't send these out and it took a while for me to order them because we have a tight budget. Shame on this company. Definitely a scam.
Honestly the worst customer service
Honestly the worst customer service. No number to call and takes forever to respond to emails. My invites were messed up and it took forever to get a hold of them. STAY AWAY. Only wanted to refund the express shipping I paid for. Going to take it up with my bank.
Zola has non existent customer service
Zola has non existent customer service. You can’t call and they don’t answer emails. I’ve been trying to contact them for a week and nothing. I wish we had never chosen them for our wedding registry for my daughter. Do yourself a favor and do not use them. It’s no wonder they don’t have a Google Business Page for people to write reviews on.
I have paid for two white fox clothing…
I have paid for two white fox clothing sets from Zola Shop.com after I my “secure”payment went through I received a weird looking email from a company called Addmakeme.com with a fake invoice of my order but in that fake invoice it had wrote that I had subscribed to something, when I never agreed to any subscription nor did it state on the Zola shop about a subscription! My card has been charged over $100 when the items on the Zola website was much much less. Now I have screenshots of the chats that I have had with the online customer teams from these dodgy website!
How in the heck are they able to operate this way!
We signed up as a vendor on their…
We signed up as a vendor on their website and were on the site for just 6 weeks when they removed our profile pending and internal investigation. lol
Do not sign up with this company as they can, apparently, remove you without warning. We do nothing wrong. We are a women owned business.
Continuously Sent Wrong Registry Item
I was sent the wrong item twice off of our wedding registry. When I reached out to customer service the third time asking for the correct item to be sent, they said they’d have it sent. From there I stopped hearing from them and they stopped responding to me after several days and follow up emails asking for the status of the correct item. Worst customer service and company and removing our entire registry from their site and going elsewhere. I will let anyone I know who is getting married not to use them to have them avoid having to go through this for something that should be an exciting occasion.
Fraud
Fraud. Stay away. They take your money for products they do not have to sell. They keep pushing and pushing and pushing the delivery date and when you are finally fed up, they won’t return money. They took my money on Black Friday and no delivery until mid January. Now that the Black Friday sales are over, I’ll have to go out and buy full price.
Avoid Zola if possible-works poorly
I am sorry to say that my experience was very poor. The registry function is primitive. It didn’t link to crate & barrel properly and brought back incorrect purchase to zola. The address function is blind to users so we have no idea if the package will go to the right place. Customer support is hit or miss. Ive been waiting over a day for a reply to my inquiry.
Fraudulent Company
Sold product that wasn’t available and they did not have in stock. Now they won’t guarantee a refund. Fraudulent company.
Awful customer service
Awful customer service. Takes absolutely forever to correct their errors. Stay away.
Zola is terrible for orders
Zola is terrible for orders. Ordered bowl set and delivered broken. Promised to ship a new set. More than 5 weeks later, they still have not shipped. They keep putting it off. They would get 0 stars if possible.
Have a backup plan
I think that Zola might be a nice one stop option for large venues, large gatherings, many people traveling. However, if your big day has an intimate in person presence, and the majority of your friends and family are not personally traveling to your event, or if you are counting on a live-streaming your once in a lifetime, never to be repeated special day...do NOT count on Zola to deliver. After 45 minutes of waiting and calls to Zola support, the wedding proceeded without a Zoom connection. According to Zola support, they could not see why THEY couldn't start the live-stream. Or log into THEIR zoom account. Imagine the disappointment felt by elderly grandparents that are too frail to travel, or friends that couldn't afford to be there personally. All of whom felt comforted that they would be able to share this event from hospitals/homes, and be a part of this special day. Oh, and the bride and groom paid extra for this failed service. All I can say, is you'd be better off to have your cousin that is in IT create your own personal zoom connection to share your special day.
HORRRRIBLE!!! COMPELTELY AVOID!!!!!!
HORRRRIBLE!!!! I used this website for my wedding registry. I liked how you can put things from multiple websites. My understanding is these items would be directly shipped from the actual companies but it’s all from Zola. Many items I have never received. All electronics that my guests spent lots of money on such as Dyson vacuum.. bissell.. toaster.. blender. I mean every single one had a defect. The area rug I received came filthy with STAINS ON IT!! I’m thinking they sell items that have been returned because they had issues. Which is why the low prices make sense. Ridiculous and I am soooo upset. I regret ever using them. Would’ve been better off with macys or any other legit wedding registry. Please avoid at all costs.
Currently Zola is holding our honeymoon…
Currently Zola is holding our honeymoon fund hostage. They required ID in my wife's old name to retrieve the funds but she had already turned in her ID to the state. She has tried using her old pistol permit and that was denied, She has since used her state issued temporary ID/Drivers license which the State prints on paper and that was denied even though it is current and up to date and legally considered ID.
We have called and requested a call back that hasn't come. I have reached out over multiple social media sites and keep getting told its getting looked at just for things to get denied again.
At this point Zola is holding our wedding funds gifted by friends and family hostage and we believe it is to continue to gain interest on the funds or to ultimately not pay it out in the hopes we go away and let them keep it.
I am not sure why a company whose whole business is based on weddings has such a hard time with name changes when its a common thing after a wedding and the only explanation is that its done on purpose to make this process difficult or to not have to pay out funds
