terrible service

terrible service - no customer care. they automatically renewed and even though I contacted them minutes after the renewal, they did not return the money. I've never had this kind of experience with a company.

TSN+ has gone downhill

It's been impossible to watch Redzone the past few weeks. Difficulty logging in (provider not available), constant buffering for long periods and "something went wrong" message which keeps appearing and requires you to restart watching. Last year, I didn't mind paying the extra fee for Redzone, but given the current situation, it's just not worth the price.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Did not deliver what was promised. Tried it foyone day(not even) that was long enough to realize it wasn't for me. Had to pay for a month to find this out. Contacted TSN. No refund. I now understand why they don't offer a free trial period. If they did, subscriptions would drop dramatically. Very disappointed. Not surprised, being that it is owned by Bell media. Very typical of Bell's customer service practices. Last straw for me. Will be cancelling all of my Bell services.

Now has ads before a channel!!

Subscribed to TSN+ for over a year as that’s the only way to get NFL Redzone if you’re a BellTV subscriber. Sucks that there isn’t a “channel” I can go to, as TSN’s app is sh*t.

Starting today (at least for me since I only use it on Sundays), I now have to watch 30 seconds of ads to watch the ad-free station I already paid for!

I went to watch the live TV through the app on an Apple TV, and had to sit through 30 seconds of ads before the main feed and then switched between the main channels and had to watch 30 seconds of ads every time I switched channels on there live feeds. Canceled the subscription right then.

Sports networks in Canada are a lousy…

Sports networks in Canada are a lousy lot.. especially TSN, that have been long serving in Canada. Am a big premier league fan and Maple Leafs fan.. and the two sports are begging here in Alberta. Leafs are normally blocked off due to regional which is perplexing. The Premier league that has over a billion following is non-existent on TSN.. why are we Canadians subjected to mediocrity and lousy sports networks..? Why are we shorthanded in sports viewership compared to other markets. A waste of money & time!

I generally liked TSN app

I generally liked TSN app, but now they don’t write a whole story, forcing you to watch the video (and corresponding advertising).
I hate sitting through TSN ads. I pay for their full service, but they force me to watch ads anyway.

Refund denied after non authorized renewal.

They renewed my subscription without the 1 month reminder. There was no warning that the subscription date was coming and they refused to refund me when I contacted them the same day, as soon as I saw the transaction in my credit card. Customer support is not helpful at all. Tried multiple times with different agents. I will be filling a consumer protection report against them to get my refund. “Under the Consumer Protection Act the contract cannot be renewed automatically unless you receive written notice at least one month before the contract is about to renew.” Avoid them at all costs. This is real. Just look at the amount of people reporting the same issue.

Unexpected Renewal with No Flexibility

While I appreciate the services TSN provides, I found the automatic renewal of my subscription without any prior notice to be a bit intrusive. It would have been helpful to receive a reminder before the renewal, allowing me to make an informed decision. Additionally, not having the option to cancel after the renewal feels restrictive, especially since I am not currently using the service. A more transparent and flexible approach would greatly enhance the customer experience, ensuring that users feel in control of their subscriptions.

Terrible Passive-Aggressive Customer Service

I signed up for a 4 month subscription in June to watch the Euro Cup. I cancelled the subscription the next day because I didn't want it to auto renew. Fast forward to October, and it has auto-renewed for another 4 months.

I contacted customer service 5 mins after my bank posted the charge and they won't allow a refund because of "policy" even though I cancelled it, and it billed anyway. Technical issues aside, the customer service rep was unfriendly, passive aggressive, unhelpful, and unsympathetic.

I told the rep that my experience with TSN has been 1/10, and they dismissively replied that they "appreciate feedback and love hearing suggestions!" TSN sucks. Stay away.

DO NOT REGISTER TO TSN+

I couldn't agree more with the other reviewers. TSN is HANDS DOWN the worst streaming service out there. I got a promotional 4 month subscription to watch pro lacrosse and had tried to cancel my renewal several times. There app is difficult to navigate and it says you must unsubscribe from their Website and not app. I visited the Website and was unable to locate an unsubscribe option ANYWHERE. I tried a few times to unsubscribe but due to the difficulties I figured I would just wait for an email reminder as was outlined in their Terms & Conditions. No email reminder was ever sent and I was then sent an auto renewal email and they had charged me for another 4 months. I called their customer service spoke to several agents and managers and I was absolutely flabbergasted at their poor response and refusal to provide a refund. I understand that they do state this, but I have never had this issue with ANY other streaming service and this policy reeks of a cash grab for unsuspecting people. TSN you're awful, DO BETTER!

Misleading advertising and bad customer service

I saw an ad for TSN plus that said I can watch every touchdown of every NFL game. And that I can watch NHL games subject to blackout conditions. Which I took to mean that the team whose region that you're living in will not be available to you because of rights. I bought a yearly membership because the price seemed like a good deal. Then I find out that I can't watch any NFL game, only the couple that are playing on TSN that week, and Redzone. And I can't watch senators games in TO region. Will not give refund

WORST app ever!!

DO NOT try anything but watching live! Even then I’ve had the feed randomly dropped. DO NOT attempt to fast forward or rewind. WORST app ever!! Made the mistake of paying for an annual subscription but will definitely cancel.

I got charged without notice and ask for refund immediately and they didn’t send it. They just kept reciting their policies. No respect to customer service. Terrible terrible non existen attention to customer needs or even a sense of fairness and integrity.
