I moved into my new Antler home 6 weeks…

I moved into my new Antler home 6 weeks ago and absolutely love it.

Danielle was brilliant at helping me figure everything out during the orientation visits and has been responsive with the inevitable snagging and queries I’ve had along the way. Happily there haven’t been many.

She responds quickly and is always happy to help. It’s so reassuring she’s on hand for the next 2 years, and that the aftercare is as positive as the purchase experience.

I moved into my new house at the…

I moved into my new house at the beginning of April . I can truly say it has been a very smooth and easy operation from start to finish.
Having moved in Danielle and Alison have been ultra efficient and very friendly at answering any queries I’ve had and sorting a few snagging issues so far .

Great Customer Care

Although we have had various snagging issues, including a leak from the main bathroom into the study below, the response from Danielle and the customer care team, and the way they have dealt with the issues has been exceptional.

Very Nice homes with great service

We recently bought our second home in Wokingham and that's with Antler Homes. Previous home we bought from other developer who claimed to be 5 star but my experience with Antler Homes is actual 5 star. The buying process, house build quality and the great services so far, especially by Shelly and Danielle Costin was amazing, True customer delight. Thank you so much....

Pleasantly surprised

Pleasantly surprised. First new build home. We were expecting to have a lot of issues. However, the issues so far have all been fairly minor. Danielle and the team have been very prompt with getting them resolved, sometimes on the same day! Thanks.

Danielle also picked up our case file very last minute after the departure of her predecessor, ensuring that we were not disadvantaged by this.

The site management team have also been friendly and helpful, especially as we had very limited services when we first moved in.

My only real complaint so far is the amount of dust. It would be a very nice good will gesture if Antler were to offer periodic window cleaning for the initial residents whilst a lot of building work is still occurring.

Highly recommend and Antler Home

Almost a year ago, I bought my first home on the Regal Chase site in Alderholt, Dorset.
The whole experience has been extremely pleasant.
I wasn't sure what to expect moving onto an active site that is being built around me, but Antler homes have ensured that we've had minimal disruption. The site is well cared for and the workers have all been really courteous.
The aftercare has been great. Danielle has been a delight to deal with if I've needed any snags sorting (only ever been minor).
Would highly recommend Antler Homes to anyone looking to buy a new build.

So impressed I’m buying one myself

I work as a New Homes Sales Advisor for Antler Homes at their development in Alderholt, Dorset, so I see the homes and the build quality every day.

What has stood out to me is the level of finish and attention to detail in the properties. The layouts are well thought out and the homes feel solid, modern, and well built.

In fact, I’ve been so impressed that I’m actually buying one of the homes myself on the same development. That probably says everything about how confident I am in the quality of what Antler Homes are building.

Reliable, Friendly and Highly Professional…

We moved into our new home three months ago and Danielle Costin at Antler has been absolutely fantastic throughout the process. She has consistently supported us with anything that needed fixing or following up, always keeping us updated with clear and timely communication.

Danielle has been professional, approachable, and genuinely helpful, which made a big difference during what can be a stressful settling-in period. We’ve built a really lovely, friendly relationship with her, and it’s reassuring to know we have someone reliable looking after things behind the scenes.

The work was performed online and...

The work was performed online and required the deposit of significant funds to cover commissions related to negative reviews. I paid a total of $40,000, followed by an additional $15,000 in fees due to a six-month completion period.
After full payment, my account was frozen, on the grounds that their credits had decreased because of the delay.

Purchased a new build home from Antler…

Purchased a new build home from Antler Homes less than a year ago. We wanted to go with a smaller/more bespoke house builder like Antler rather than a high volume, usual race to bottom  kind of house builder that is coming more and more the norm. 

However ‘high specification homes’ they market themselves as isn’t quite what we feel we invested into.

They were OK at putting the initial same old snags right (as would have been within the retention period of their sub contractors- so not at Antlers own cost)

But anything that is of big ticket cost/effort for them to put right they are not interested.

So yes unfortunately  they appear to churn out the typical race to the bottom rubbish you see more and more these days from the larger nationwide outfits in our opinion.

Joint & taped finish rather than plastered ceilings- quality is amateur at best.
They tell you it’s only classed as a defect if it shows in natural lights (knowing full well if you shine any light on the ceilings…you will not know whether to laugh or cry at the state of it.
(Yes joint & tape can be done to a good standard- but this was just not the case and Antler failed or just didn’t care when in came to their own internal quality control- before it reaches post sale- then who wants their NEW home re-plastered once they just moved all their belongings in.

Air vents below external ground levels ‘thats just how we do it’-seems smart.

Poor drainage to garden/ puddles just sit on garden patios (no fall)
Our garden is flooded- Antler just says take it up with Premier Gurentee (who doesn’t cover gardens) ….pride in customer satisfaction…zero.

Would we buy Antler again- no
Would we recommend an Antler Home- unfortunately not.

Moving into my new Antler home Ashford Hill

Moving into my new Antler home earlier this year has been a genuinely positive experience. From the very beginning, the process was smooth and well-organised, and I’ve been impressed with the quality and finish of the property.
A special mention must go to Sue, the site agent, who has been consistently helpful, professional, and approachable throughout. No matter the question—big or small—Sue has always responded promptly and with care, making the transition into my new home feel supported and stress-free.
I’m delighted to be part of the Antler community and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for a well-built home backed by excellent customer service.

I purchased one of the Antler Homes at…

I purchased one of the Antler Homes at kingfisher’s, Ashford Hill. The build quality is very good and the area has the best of all worlds….in the country yet close to towns, airports etc.
The purchase process was excellent with the help from Sue (on site representative) who kept me appraised at every stage and Antler who remained patient during a frustrating sale of my property. The follow up on snags from Leanne has been excellent also.

When you close double door to back…

When you close double door to back garden, upstairs room floor shake like HS2 passing through our home!!!
Subcontractors , plumbing firm from Bracknell is terrible that couldn't resolve a simple sink leaking issue on 3 visits. Still waiting! WC seats have bolts made by plastics weaker than my son's lego ( I swear no exaguration)!
Electric work okay no problem other than wrong connection on ethernet sockets at first instance.
Plasterboards, crack all around the house! I guess the house is sinking that no proper foundation work applied!!!!
Windonws and doors, cheap of the cheapest!!! Forgot to put sealent between frames and brick work on some windows!!!

By the way, I have a Civil Engineering degree with 5 years budilding development experience in the past...I am filing a formal complaint...
DO NOT TRUST BLOODY BUILDING SURVEYORS REPORTS AS THEY GIVE PASS TO ANYTHING NOWADAYS!!!

Need anymore review? Since march 25 still waiting to hear from them.

Turstpilot only allowed me 2 days to reply your info request query and I couldn't as people are busy for daily matters more than complaints on developers...
They have ingnored most of the queries we made through our estate managers (vivid) and kept quiet since then...
Now theyr are coming for annual uinspection by the end of Feb 2025. We will see how the Inspection firm will act on our ongoing issues...

Antler Homes Loxwood development

We are interested in buying a house at Antler Homes development in Loxwood.
We have visited the development twice and I have to say we have been most impressed with the quality of building work .
Becky the on site sales executive could not be more helpful, she is so professional and has been great at communicating with us .
Also the on site manager who showed us round the development is extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions.
A real quality builder who clearly have a great team behind them .

Appalling Support

I am so surprised by the rating of this company as the experience we have had has been appalling. We have seen other sites with more reflective poor reviews which I wish I had seen before we bought! I wonder how genuine these reviews are! We moved to one of their homes in Jan 24 and have had so many problems. Our snagging list was well over 60 items and even more found once we moved in. We still have 4 major issues outstanding with their response always blaming other people. If their trades are slow to come back they should find others, we should not have to wait the months we have to get things sorted. Their internal workmanship is poor, it looks good when you are taken in by decor of show homes but the reality is something else, groundwork especially is poor with no top soil in gardens and paving that moved even before we moved in, in our case drainage is another real problem. When things go wrong their trades say one thing to us and another to them to avoid doing any work. I have tried on so many occasions to speak to their CEO but he just ignores my emails and calls. I would think very carefully before you buy one of their homes and definitely if it’s one of the last check the workmanship carefully as in our case our home was rushed to get their money by year end!
