Following an unexpected ppi payment in 2020 I was contacted by Fairtrade a few weeks ago regarding a refund from HMRC as they had taxed the ppi pay out. I had no clue about this and HMRC have now refunded the tax. 😃
Not a huge amount but money I wouldn't have had!
Everyone I spoke to during my ppi claim and this recent claim were friendly, helpful and more importantly not the least bit pushy. Highly recommended.

This is the second time Fair Trade Practice has come up trumps for me. Firstly they recouped the money from my mis-sold ppi that I was charged on a credit card, and again by securing a tax refund from HMRC who wrongly taxed me for the money I got back from ppi! Fantastic job standing up to the big guys and their fee for doing it is very reasonable. All the hassle is dealt with by the FTP you can just sit back and wait for the money to get paid back in to your account, where it should be!

The Fair Trade Practice were able to get ne thousands od pounds vack for mis-sold PPP along with the tax that HMRC incorrectly took from me relating to that PPP.
You contact them, they explain everything and their fee, and that's it. If they are successful they send youvthe money with the agreed fee deducted. If not successful, their is no fee. Simple.

I have used this company before and they are reliable and helpful. This time I got money back that I didn’t know I was entitled to. I would recommend them to anyone
