Had a great start with Fair trade however when things got tricky for them they bailed on me leaving to battle for what I am owed but still expect to be paid if I win my case even though they closed my account.

I would advise anyone who is thinking of using his company then DON'T, I have just wasted 3 years of my life with them to get absolutely nowhere!!!!! When they send claims to companies they do not send by any means where they can prove postage, they sent mine to DFS to claim back my PPI and it was supposed to be within the deadline, DFS said that they never received it in time and TFP didn't bother to challenge it and they won't pay out and the FOS will not take on the complaint either. Communication was appalling too, I just had an automated email saying my case was closed, no reason as to why, I had to phone them to find out the reasons, and to be honest they aren't very helpful either when you speak to them. I would advise if you want to try and claim anything owed to you, do it yourself, as I have wasted so much time on this over the last 3 years and got nowhere and lost out on my PPI payment that I was entitled to, I wish I had done it myself!!!!!!!

Good service previously used Fair Trade to claim PPI which they were able to identify and arrange repayment. Good service. Did have to chase up tax refund claim but prompt response to enquiry about delay.

Over the last few years they have claimed back several thousand in PPI for me and recently they got in contact to see if I wanted them to claim a refund from HMRC for tax I paid in relation to the PPI claims. Within a couple of weeks this was successful. They do take quite a large percentage for their work but I’m happy with this as I wouldn’t have been able to manage these claims in my own.
