After receiving a call from Sam regarding my CV he had seen online, I got an interview and start date all in 2 hours. Sam made all this run smoothly with lots of communication.

One star is far too generous for a recruitment company that wastes your time with pointless applications because they can’t be bothered to check a job advert is correct. Stay away.

I had a frustrating experience with this agency. I attended an induction for a temporary position and was told I’d hear back shortly, but after that I received little to no communication. Despite multiple follow-ups, updates were minimal and unclear.

As a candidate, I didn’t feel supported or valued. I hope the agency improves its communication and professionalism moving forward.

I was employed through Best Connection Agency in Grimsby. During my time there, I encountered a supervisor named Louisa, who consistently treated us with a lack of respect. Her behavior toward Black workers, in particular, showed clear signs of favoritism and unfair treatment.

The company would often schedule us for shifts, requiring us to travel from Hull to Grimsby by taxi around 4 a.m. However, upon arrival at 6 a.m., we were sometimes told that there were too many staff and that we should return home. Despite the inconvenience and cost of travel, the company never reimbursed us for the taxi fares, meaning we had to cover the expenses ourselves
