Always pestering me to book an eye test. Then when I did book the test it was well planned out . However when I ordered the glasses it was 2 for 1 and the came back very strong and very tight across my eye. I noticed that my face eyes wasn’t measured as done previously and after using them for 3 days I felt awful. Went back to the shop and was told you have to give them a week before they can be changed. Came back 4 days later to have another eye test and prescription changed. Waited another week and only received 1 pair even though I paid for the 2 for 1. Now waiting another week for the 2nd pair to arrive. .

This review is just about the online spectacles buying / searching process and not about their instore staff or eye / hearing tests which are all great.
However, when it comes to searching for glasses on their website, it is frankly abysmal. Whereas most competing online specs stores allow you to search and filter quickly for criteria like lens sizes, bridge size, frame length, half-rim style, rectangle shape etc... etc..., Specsavers offers no such fine tuning. You can't search for smaller glasses if you have a smaller head; you can't specify just half-rim style or just rectangle shape. Basically basic stuff that a competent filter should allow you to do you can't do here. The most you can do is filter for price, gender, colour and brand. Type simply offers sunglasses or glasses which is pointless since most people will choose that option at the very top of the page.
How can a prominent nationwide chain be so rubbish when it comes to online ordering or searching? Their in store selections of frames is quite restricted so online should make it much easier to find what you want, but unfortunately Specsavers doesn't. This is why I choose to order elsewhere.
