Trainers were very congenial and lively. I enjoyed listening to them.

The course was very hands-on, with plenty of opportunities to practise what we learned. The trainer was engaging and made the sessions enjoyable while ensuring we covered all the knowledge and skills we needed.

Superb. I'm a person who struggles to process large quantities of information to process so the way it was broken down and the methods of assessment changed throughout the day worked really well. I learn by doing things practically.

I completed the 3 day first aid course in Bristol with Cathy Avery. She was very knowledgable, friendly and informative. The sessions were interactive and full of great lessons and really useful pieces of information to take away. I wasn’t going to leave a review, not because it wasn’t great, it was, but you just kind of forget, however a week later I was out having breakfast and had to put everything into practice when a lady nearby became very unwell. I felt very confident taking control and using everything I was taught, the ambulance crew arrived and took over, however her family were grateful for the help. I would recommend a first aid course to anyone.

I recently went through the mental health first aid training through St John Ambulance and I cannot recommend it highly enough, it was a good, well structured course.

The best place to go for first aid. Trainer was really helpful and professional.

Today was my 3yr First Aid at Work refresher held at the Wolverhampton training centre. Our trainers were Emma and Helen who were both totally engaging with everyone from start to finish. I’ve struggled to recall a training session carried out by staff who are clearly passionate about what they do and are extremely good at making the experience informative and equally enjoyable. Emma and Helen are a real credit to SJA and I’m already looking forward to my next refresher with hopefully these trainers again. Exceptional

Shocking will never do again

Did the 2 day First Aid at Work requalification in Stevenage. Adam is an excellent instructor, very knowledgable and friendly. Comprehensive content with engaging activities.

The trainer was very knowledgeable & made what was a full on day in terms of information intake & physical activities fun :)

The trainer was excellent, She really got the class going and she made it comfortable and ask any question to came to mind, She was really descriptive and shown us everything practically before we would take over and do it on our own
