Rabbie’s small group tours are driven by curiosity and guided by storytellers. We find the stories that go deeper and live longer in travellers' minds. On our journeys, everyone’s hungry for the little-known or just-happened, and we can go after them: no track too small, too trodden or obscure. No need for scripts, because our guides know places like the back of their hand.

High Praise for Sean Gordon
This was my second tour with Rabbie’s and we could not have higher praise. My first trip was a three day solo trip of the north of Scotland in 2018. This time I brought my husband and parents for a four day trip around the Isles of Mull, Iona, and Staffa. The itinerary is well rounded and packed full of amazing sites and experiences but still leaves room for leisure and flexibility as the group wants. Sean Gordon was our wonderful guide. His seemingly bottomless wealth of knowledge made for a fascinating and educational trip with a special touch of beauty and sentimentality that made the four day adventure an experience we will never forget.
Long hours on hot bus
Our guide, Mary, was wonderful. Let’s be clear about that. Organization and communication of meeting, etc… was well done. The company seems well run. Just have one complaint and point of clarity. We were six adults and positioned at the rear of the small bus supposedly air conditioned. The whole trip was beyond hot on bus. And we’re from Florida accustomed to hot. The A/C fan was supposedly up all the way. We were told that numerous times. Mary tried her best. The front seats were slightly cooler but the rear was stifling hot with no way to open windows for hours. The fans barely blew air and it was lukewarm. They kept saying it was due to warmth of UK. We Get that to a certain extent but a working a/c is supposed to work no matter temp outside and outside was not that bad. Given we were unexpectedly in that position with very few stops for miles and miles, it was unbearable. Lastly and we hold ourselves slightly responsible for this. We knew a one day Highland trip would be tricky given distance from Edinburgh. But the publicity for this trip makes you feel like the stops would be more and more than just a 10 minute or so jump off and on bus. There was the exception of stopping in Highland at Lochness for one hour boat trip (which was just ok) and then back on bus. That was all there was to see Highlands. Basically we were on a 12 hour day trip and about 8.5-9 hours of that was on a hot stifling bus. The highlight was one stop at end to see a few captive highland cows you could pet. Short and sweet. So just want people to know that you are pretty much on a bus with occasional stories by the driver (who was great) and a few photo op stops. Never written a review such as this but felt like someone needed to in case you are considering taking a whole day out of your international vacation and spending this much money. Sorry.

Family vacation in Skye and the Highligands
Our tour guide/driver Graeme (hope I am spelling his name correctly) was superb. His jocular spirit, flexible nature, knowledge of history, enthusiasm, and ability to cater to the passengers' needs was fantastic and made the trip worthwhile. The route, places we visited, and the scenic splendour was amazing. My family and I enjoyed this trip very much and we highly recommend it to others.

Comprehensive tour
I loved the detailed information that the tour guide, Darren gave us, as we drove from village to village. Very organised trip.
Excellent day tour to The Highlands with Steven
Exceptional driver, Steven, who is so well informed and as a guide. Friendly and engaged with the group and very knowledgable. Stopped at so many places for us to take photos on the way. Always suggested good places to eat at or where best spots were to take photos.
Excellent experience!!!!
Excellent experience! Robbie was a wonderful tour guide, and I was impressed by his in-depth knowledge of Scottish history and its relevance to landmarks, towns, castles, Scottish culture, etc. The tour did not feel too rushed, and we were given free evenings as well. I would absolutely recommend the Mull, Iona, Skye tour if you have a limited amount of time and would like to see several areas in the Highlands!
Isle of Skye review
The tour guide was fantastic, we went on the Isle of Skye tour and she was very informative, telling us entertaining stories and rich insights into the history and present day life of these parts of Scotland.

Driver tried to "do the right thing"…
Driver tried to "do the right thing" with some late arriving passengers. Those passengers turned into a problem. They delayed our departure, proceeded to talk on their phone over the driver and then got into an argument with the driver about spitting on the sidewalks. We should have not waited for them. Driver did his best to de-escalate the argument, but the passenger kept circling back.
1 day Outlander trip
We went on the 1 day Outlander trip. Weather was wonderful, locations lovely, and when you add on the amazing banter from James the guide, what a day!! Brilliant from start to finish. Second time I have used Rabbies Tours, and would not hesitate to use them again.
Scottish Boarders with Russel
We had a trip from Edinburgh to Rosslyn Chapel and Melrose. This tour was the Scottish Borders. Our driver on the day was Russel. Russel was an extremely helpful and knowledgeable driver who gave interesting and well informed details. He not only gave the usual information related to the history etc but also related the trip to his own family.
Wonderful day of sightseeing and history!
Duncan was wonderful on the West Highlands Castles and Lochs Tour! His personal stories, deep knowledge of Scottish history, and friendly personality truly made the experience special. It was a long day, but the van was comfortable and the views were spectacular. Would definitely recommend as a way to see Scotland outside of the city walls.
A fun tour with variety!
Euan, our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We enjoyed the stops at cheddar gorge and Wells the most. Glastonbury Tor provided great views. It was a great tour with a variety of activities and time to explore independently at each location.
Very patient and knowledgeable drivers
Very patient and knowledgeable drivers. Fabulous scenery. Lots of interesting history. Great recommendations for viewpoints and places to eat.
The Loch Ness Tour Was Superb
The Loch Ness Tour was my third time with Rabbie's. I keep returning because of the calibre of the guides. They make the difference! Peter was an exemplar of Rabbie's outstanding, knowledgeable and witty guides.

Very fun and informative tour guide
Very fun and informative tour guide. Pete did a really good job at making everyone feel part of the whole experience. His historical knowledge is vast and he is very accommodating. The trip was incredible and if I'm ever in the UK again I will definetly be choosing Rabbies.
