Pas grand chose à acheter mais on s'y attendait..par contre il serait possible d'augmenter leur CA en vendant des sandwichs dans la file d'attente qui mène aux caisses..

Good value overall but bought some…
Good value overall but bought some items they refuse to take back so pursuing.
Thieving customers, or not?
I had bought a couple of pairs of women's jogging bottoms, however, when I tried them on they were rather large. I am 5 feet tall, my husband is 6 feet 1 inch and they fitted him in length too. So I thought I'd exchange them for something else as I had mislaid the receipt. Having chosen a nice shirt and couple of other bits I was told, in no uncertain terms, that I couldn't exchange without a receipt. Company policy, apparently they think that we're all nipping in pinching stuff wrapping it up in shopping bags and then trying to scam them. Nice one Primark, we're not all thieves but we all have a choice whether to come to your shops.
Primark Monks Cross York
Primark Monks Cross York
Went in yesterday, and of row reductions in the wedge sandals. Chose a pair for my daughter (along with 2 pairs of full price sandals from elsewhere) get to the self checkout and they scanned at full price, reduced sticker in them that granted had been ripped but I was then told that those were not actually reduced, that the reduced sticker was probably placed by accident and that they had attempted to remove the sticker (on 2 pairs on the shelf, different side but same style)
I was obviously annoyed that
1. They were on a reduced shelf with others the same (do not placed there by a customer who decided they didn’t want them and out them on any shelf)
2. That they did in fact have a reduced sticker in them for £12, as did all the other wedges on that stand (different colours)
So I was starving feeling a little embarrassed as they went in about the fact they were a mistake! The mistake is on primark, not me.
I paid full price for them but started quite clearly I was not happy, take the stickers off fully if you make a mistake, remove them from the reduced shelf if there by mistake
Do not wait till a customer takes them to pay!
Before leaving I was stopped by the manager to ask if I’d bought the shoes which I said yes, all he had to say was he was going to now go and remove the other pair!! Why stop me for that? Honour the price for your mistakes!!
I’ve heard of primark changing prices before but this was a blatant rip off that they didn’t rectify at all.
Primark Croydon city centre- Very poor handling of simple request – and deeply concerning language used by manager!!!
I am extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at the Primark Croydon town centre store on 06/06/2026.
At approximately 12:00pm, I visited the store and asked whether I could collect some cardboard boxes as I am in the process of moving house. The manager on duty, Kayleigh, appeared uninterested and dismissive from the outset. Rather than assisting me, she told me she was unsure and suggested I return later because the night staff might know more. When I asked what time I should come back, she advised me to return between 7:00pm and 7:30pm.
I returned at the suggested time and fortunately found Kayleigh again. When I asked about the boxes, I was told that the night staff were busy and that I should wait. I waited for around 15 minutes. During that time, Kayleigh walked around the shop floor and appeared to notice me several times, but no effort was made to update me or deal with my request.
Eventually, Kayleigh approached me with another member of staff who appeared to be the night manager. I explained again that I was looking for some cardboard boxes. What happened next left me shocked and upset.
The night manager stated that Primark does not give cardboard boxes to “foreigners”. When I asked what she meant by that, she said “outsiders” because the boxes contain Primark branding and they do not know what people might do with them.
As a South Asian British national, I found these comments deeply concerning and upsetting. The explanation given made me feel that assumptions were being made about me because of my background. What made the situation even more troubling is that a friend of mine, who is of Italian white ethnicity, previously requested cardboard boxes from the same Croydon store and was reportedly asked how many she needed before being given them.
This raises serious questions about consistency, fairness and equal treatment of customers. If there is genuinely a company policy preventing the distribution of cardboard boxes, why was I asked to return later by Kayleigh? Why was this policy only mentioned after I returned and waited? And why does my friend’s experience appear to have been completely different?
I expect better customer service, professionalism and respect from a major retailer. Regardless of whether a request can be accommodated, customers should be treated politely and consistently.
I would welcome a formal response from Primark explaining:
1. Whether there is an official policy regarding giving away cardboard boxes.
2. Why I was told to return later if such a policy exists.
3. Why the term “foreigners” was used when speaking to a customer.
4. What steps will be taken to ensure all customers are treated fairly and respectfully.
This experience left me feeling disappointed, uncomfortable and unwelcome. No customer should leave a store feeling that they have been judged or treated differently because of their ethnicity or appearance.
:::
One additional point: if you intend to make a formal complaint to Primark, it may be worth keeping a factual record of the exact words used, the approximate times, and the names of any staff involved. That tends to be more effective than making broader accusations that may be difficult to prove.
Unhelpful staff!
I understand that you have 28 days to…
I understand that you have 28 days to return an item to Primark but they did not make any allowances I was trying to return a pair of mens shorts M size for a S size a straightforward exchange but because it had gone over the time allowed and I explained the situation they still wouldn't exchange even though the shorts are still in stock. Customer service absolutely rubbish no empathy wouldn't have cost them anything!!!!
Harrasment
Racist me and my mates got harrased i was accused of stealing when we explained everything was from b n m. They wouldn’t leave us alone we told them to check security footage they said 100%we was stealing and bare in mind we are minors and would not recommend coming to the Primark in town
Egift Card funds taken.
I bought an egiftcard online (as I get cashback) whilst instore at the Trafford Centre . There were definitely funds on it. I then went to the till to buy the items I had chosen. After all the items went through the checkout assistant took my egiftcard and scanned it. The till then froze and he called a manager over who then had to void the transaction and put the items through again. I handed the egiftcard over again but this time it said insufficient funds - there should've been £50 on it. It stated in their giftcard balance checker 'keyed redeem' - it had not been redeemed! Basically they have taken £50 of my money in exchange for nothing. Their customer care keep saying 'we are looking into this' but it is nearly two weeks and still nothing. I will never shop there again. The manager though trying to be helpful wasn't. It was an awful experience and Primark have really not stepped up to reassure me - I have since read that customers also issues with click and collect where funds are taken even when the items are not available but those funds are not returned to the customer. I will be looking at legal action to try to resolve this now.
Multipack of 5, only 4 included. Absolute thievery. AVOID
Greenwich branch. Great staff bought but bought a multipack of 5 pants and only 4 included. Scandalous, I was distraught at my lack of pantage no wonder they make so much in profit
The shop is good and cheap but very busy
Some of the staff are very rude and intimidating
I just quickly went into the Torquay store the time was 5.50pm when I entered and they shut at 6pm. A worker came over at 5.57pm to inform me the store was closing soon and I said ok and picked up something and was about to go and pay. Instead of just leaving it there.. literally two seconds later (it still was not 6pm) he decided to inform me in a very unfriendly tone that if I didn’t go and pay right this second they wouldn’t let me buy the one thing I had in my hand. I would fully understand if it had gone 6pm and I had a basket full of stuff. There was absolutely no need for it.
Didn't know that Primark treat disabled…
Didn't know that Primark treat disabled customers differently. I was in Primark Birmingham City centre waiting im the queue with my disabled child- staff member came up to me and said that someone would come to me to serve us quickly because of the disability - and within 2mins someone did! Well done Primark 😊
At present waiting for a click and…
At present waiting for a click and collect order. 1st email says delayed due to problem they have. 2nd email says despatched to store. 3rd email same day same as 1st delayed. Nothing on log in says anything. Chat bot useless. So still no idea if or when I will get my items.
1st time using click and collect so far awful
experience.
No updates from primark since Friday. Filled in the click and collect form but most things you cant put on it. Then received email that you can reply to but only if it not about click and collect and some other things. App click and collect order still shows despatched Friday 22nd nothing about delays. Had hoped would be able to collect by today as was supposed to have been Friday, as due to mobility issues a friend was going to be helping me to collect. That now cant happen. Yes primark items are cheap and lovely but this is not. Had an email today to say parcel ready for collection it us 25/5/26. It says I only have 3 days left to collect. So even though 1st collection email they have already deducted days not helpful. Presuming it us all items as it says 1 parcel to collect.
Very good value for money products.
Very good value for money products.
Great discounts.
Friendly personnel and very helpful.
Male Jean Zip Sizes.
Well done Primark. A company that keeps prices sensible without penny pinching on important features like zips. Google AI states that Male zips should be between 152-178mm. I recently made the mistake of purchasing a pair of Asda George (my previous pair were 140mm). These had a totally impractical 110mm so returned. I had an older pair of Sainsbury Tu jeans which had 165mm, so I thought I'd be safe with online collection. They were actually 130mm, so returned. Then at last I tried Primark. Your straight jeans have a 150mm zip, are best price, and comfortable. I think all manufacturers should include this important size information on labels.
Inconsistent sizes now lost 1hr time…
Inconsistent sizes now lost 1hr time and £100 wasted on chinos that do not fit correctly.
Slim fit however certainly not slim fit these are regular fit.
32 length, certainly too long for 32 inches just looks like I'm drowning in pants..
The sizes are very inconsistent and I rarely get an accurate fit, Primark are the only ones who continue to have such inconsistent sizes..
Flared out and baggy, similar to American/ skateboard baggy fit..
However I have purchased slim fit, and not regular or baggy fit!
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service, and from reading all the other poor reviews, it doesn't seem like Primark cares.
I bought a trouser that was faulty and didn't have my receipt, according to their terms and conditions faulty items can be returned without receipt. Went backwards and forward with "Simran" who out of good will offered a gift card.
I just went now to use the gift card and it's balance is £0??? When it's never been used. I have sent a email and expect no resolution as Simran has yet to respond to me (been waiting 6 months) for my previous issues.
Big corporation like these just take money and don't care about the consumers at all.
Low end clothing
Low end clothing. Large selection and enough help. Quantity well over quality.
Absolutely abysmal customer service
Absolutely abysmal customer service. Were unable to fulfil my order and didn’t have the courtesy of updating me despite me placing the order three days prior to delivery due date. The staff both at store and live chat were rude and uncaring. A special thanks for nothing to ‘Lee L’ who I spoke to on live chat who I am sure is not even a real person.
