A neighbor had ordered the Mirador Outdoor Shutterwalls. We loved it so ordered some. When they arrived and followed their instructions and video. Our neighbor came over to help as we couldn't get the Louvers installed into the slats even with force. Our neighbor who had out together three with ease, said there was something wrong with the ones we received, it appeared that they were machined wrong. My husband and are DIY people and work a lot on projects.
When I contacted Mirador, you can't reach them via phone, you have to leave a message, contacting via e-mail takes time and lots of back and forth. I did get a call from a wonderful woman who said she would check on my issues, but come Monday, we were TOLD to try putting them together again. I sent photos, and asked for a return slip, we're done, they can have it and try putting it together. We had hoped for a better outcome, maybe the lot ours cam from was machined wrong, could they send another box from another lot # but we couldn't even get that. very disappointed

We do still want the opportunity to help get this fully resolved. In order for our team to properly assess what may be happening with the louvers and determine whether there is a product or installation issue, we do need a short video showing the difficulty you’re experiencing. This allows our technical team to see exactly what is happening and provide the most accurate next steps.
We had also offered to have an installer come out and assist with the installation so we could help get the Shutterwalls fully installed and determine firsthand what may be causing the issue.
That said, we completely understand if you would prefer to move forward with a return at this point. Our goal has always been to help find the right solution for you, and we’re sorry the experience so far has not met your expectations. We will follow up accordingly with either resolution you would like to partake- but our goal is to always help troubleshoot any issues so you can successfully utilize the product.

AWFUL DELIVERY EXPERIENCE
Product quality was decent, however there were some marks on the cushions. I was able to clean them off thankfully. But delivery was terrible! I know they use a 3rd party, but they should really try to find a new one. When I complained about the delivery the guys told me they could just take my items back - extremely rude. I bought chaises and the full Siena set. I was going to order more items from Mirador like the pergola and deck box but based on the delivery experience I will never order from them again.

Incomplete order and no sense of urgency to make it right
We ordered the power socket which arrived without the hardware. We reached out right away and were told they would send the hardware. It has now been about 2 weeks and we still have not received it after reaching out a second time.

Absolute Nightmare to Receive and Assemble — Engineered for Shipping, Not for Humans

I am a mechanical engineer. I have spent my entire career working around heavy industrial equipment and complex machinery. If a piece of outdoor patio furniture can bring me to pure rage, it isn't "challenging"—it is an atrocious, anti-customer disaster of product design.
The Delivery Joke
I ordered the 3-piece conversational set, an extra fire pit table, and the 281-gallon storage box. The items arrived dropped on my front porch inside massive, dead-weight crates weighing around 200 pounds each. Mirador provides zero delivery option for placement in the yard or room of choice. They simply dump multiple hundred-pound crates on your driveway or porch and expect you to magically haul them to the backyard yourself.
Unpacking: 3 Hours of Pure Misery
Getting the pre-assembled chairs and fire tables out of the packaging was a wrestling match from hell. There is a vast difference between securing an item against transit damage and completely encasing it with zero foresight for how a customer will dismantle the packaging. It took me three solid hours of swearing, prying, and sweating just to break down the crates, extract two chairs and two fire pit tables, and finish the nominal 5% assembly required to sit down.
The Storage Box: A Masterclass in Incompetence
Then came the 281-gallon storage box, which pushed this entire ordeal from frustrating to downright insulting:
Disassembly Before Assembly: Before you can even begin building the box, you must first unscrew over 30 factory-installed screws just to separate parts that were slapped together at the factory purely for shipping convenience. You literally waste an hour doing reverse-engineering grunt work because Mirador couldn't be bothered to ship loose components logically.
The "Da Vinci" Manual: The printed manual contains zero written instructions—only cryptic pictograms, circles, and arrows. Their technical illustration team seems to think they are Leonardo da Vinci, creating artistic puzzles rather than functional build diagrams. It is completely useless.
The Insulting QR Video: Thinking the included QR code would save the day, I scanned it hoping for actual guidance. Surprise: the video is completely silent, save for irritating background music playing over the exact same animated pictionary garbage with zero verbal direction or real-world footage.
It took two grown adults five agonizing hours just to take apart the packed parts and construct a single deck storage box.

High Quality in an Extra Large size
After searching for an extra large outdoor cushion container for over a year, not only did we find the size, but the quality of construction met our expectations. Prior to making the purchase I was able to talk with your customer service team about the product size and they were very helpful. We received the box sooner that promised. It came extremely well packed with not issues. The assembly instructions were very thorough and the construction well made (all the screw holes lined up except the top frame that the lid sits on). The only tough assembly part was that top frame and getting the screws to go in and line up correctly. When we completed the assembly and could not get the lid to close the customer service team was accessible right away and explained that the first time to close it you have to pull it down hard. They were right. The look of the box matches our outdoor patio furniture and we purchased a cover from the cover store. I would recommend that if you can also sell a cover, that would be great and help your business as well.
