Stability is key!
I have used my Henchman a couple of times. It helps to provide a high level of confidence when working on your own outdoors.
Give very careful consideration to the height you require, I should have gone for the next size up, but was swayed by restricted storage availability.
Delivery and packaging were of a very high standard.

These step ladders are very bulky, you need to consider storage prior to purchase.
Purchased from a show stand where staff were very knowledgeable and encouraged trial on exhibits which I found particularly helpful.

Fully adjustable 3.6m tripod ladder
After doing some research I ordered the 3.6m fully adjustable tripod ladder to deal with my 3metre tall leylandii hedge.
I ordered it on Friday lunchtime and it was delivered to me at 7.50am on the Monday morning!!
Very well wrapped and protected so it arrived in great condition.
I used it the next day and easily reached the top of my hedge without any instability on my sloping garden. The ladder is sturdy and well made but light enough for me to manoeuvre around the garden (5ft6inches tall, 9and a half stone and in my sixties). Wished I had come across this earlier as I will also use it to clean my gutters and wash my windows safely.

Henchman ladder for uneven surfaces - to drawer.
What a delight to work with Henchman again after about 15 years!
The sales person was called James at the Great Yorkshire Show July 2026. He was very customer focused, clearly had extensive knowledge and understanding of the products and the right product for me the customer. I've used the ladder for uneven surfaces several times already - very very pleased. Much lighter and equally strong and stable to my previous model. Can carry round like a holiday suitcase!

Great step ladder
Great step ladder. Just the job for trimming a 10ft hedge on a sloping garden using both arms to hold a pole cutter. Loss of one star because it's pretty expensive to buy.

My Garden Ladder.
I was very pleased to receive my garden ladder which eventually arrived following its tour around Somerset. It was very well packed and arrived in good condition the only thing that was damaged was one of the rubber foot covers had a little tear which could spread if I was to try to remove it.
