Flights and transfers excellent. Hotel quaint and very friendly staff. Rooms a little snug with no storage, so live out of luggage. Beds very comfy and you have fridge, safe and coffee

Akureyri Northern Iceland
This short break on an easyJet flight from Manchester is a chance to see the “real Iceland” and the capital of Northern Iceland is a real joy especially during the winter months.
Stay at the Hotel Akureyri which offers spotlessly clean well located accommodation and a breakfast to die for.

We just spent 4 days in Iceland and enjoyed it very much. The package was good value, it included a northern lights tour and we experienced no problems. The hotel room was small but comfortable, we would have appreciated more space for our belongings. Breakfast had a variety of food and good coffee.

A short break to Lapland. All transfers on time, accomodation and location was beautiful. No problems and lovely memories.

Good value for money. Good package I.e. flights, B&B (quirky, but good), accommodation and several excursions. Everything went smoothly.

As a travel company that we are not familiar with and therefore had doubts regarding the delivery of our trip, including excursions, it is refreshing to say that the delivery was spot on. The flights, transfers, accommodation, food and trips were all great. Akureyri in Iceland is a place to go and it did not let us down with whales and the northern lights both being highlights.

Our 4 night break to Akureyri Iceland was well organised, the trips we booked as an add on were efficient and very interesting. Hotel Akureyri annex was comfortable and clean, breakfast offered a wide range of food. Flights via easyJet were on-time.

4 night trip to Iceland was fantastic, such great value, hotel amazing, staff so friendly, couldn't do enough for you. Breakfast choice & quality superb. Great Northern light tour guide, we loved the Forest Lagoon.

Wonderful 3 night break. Super yacht was amazing, well located and superb accommodation. Close to town and all the restaurants and bars. Highly recommended and will definitely book again to repeat the experience!

Great Value Holidays were brilliant with all the admin for our holiday. All was sent to us via email in advance. Could check my account portal for updates.
I felt slightly uncomfortable with the fact no-one answers the phone when I called them between working hours Mon-Fri. But I really had no need to worry as I was calling just to check Great Value Holidays was legit. It is!!!

We booked an Iceland package deal and it was great value. The flights with easyJet were decent, although the outbound was 3 hours late leaving, the transfers to and from Akureyri airport made everything really straightforward.

The package included the Northern Lights excursion and entry to Forest Lagoon, which was a brilliant add-on and definitely worth having bundled in. We then added the Lake Mývatn tour separately and it fitted in perfectly with the rest of the trip.

We also upgraded our hotel room for a sea view, and the hotel itself was really nice, great breakfast included every day, it was a great base and made the stay feel that bit more special.

The only small downside was the voucher system, which was a little clunky, but it didn’t detract from anything overall.

Would definitely use this company again.

We have just got back from our trip to Gibraltar staying on the Sunbourn. The yacht was fabulous with spacious rooms and a great breakfast with plenty of choice. Straightforward to book and all went well.

Excellent communication prior to the holiday & throughout.

We were really pleased with Great Value holidays. Booking online was smooth and easy. The direct enquiry I made was helpful.But most importantly the holiday really was Great Value for money.
