Global Freaks Web Store

The website has a helpful English language version, and is very easy to use. The item I ordered was packaged securely, arriving promptly and in excellent condition. I would definitely recommend this site to any collectors or fans of anime etc.

A genuine store that delivers authentic goods!

I just received a figure that I have been searching for, since its release. I was unsure to trust this site originally due to all the reviews all over the place... but I want to be honest.

Trust them. This is a figure that was near impossible to obtain without blowing anything more than £100 on Ebay or Amazon, and I got it authentic and 100% legit for £30. No damage to the box or figure at all, no "water in my figure" like other reviews have said, this is a real store with legit goods. Anime collectors, or collectors of any sorts, this is a store for you, good products with reasonable prices!

I truly don’t understand the bad reviews here!
You cannot give them anything less than 5 stars!

I’ve purchased over £1000 worth of figures from them and there is never an issue.
If I’m worried about something or have a question they are quick to reply and explain anything needed.

They also have the best prices around, unbeatable!
Cheap delivery to the UK too which is quite rare, everyone takes advantage of Covid to overcharge you in shipping charges…
They are honest, very helpful and always have the latest figures going.

Will continue buying from them 100%

Website is good, their eBay are scammers.

So I had to deal with this company through their site and eBay. I suggest not buying from their eBay at all.
Order from their site and have preorders with them as well no issue and usually love them.

Their eBay however I bought 2 figures and shipping separately for both. One was in stock and one a preorder out last month August. I bought it a few days before the preorder date so thought it'll be out soon.
Nope! They didn't ship other in stock figure or preorder one so I had to message them a week after to ask what's happening?
They said they are waiting for it to be in stock and it'll be a few more weeks!
I said ok fine but when is my other in stock figure being sent? They said it won't be and shipping together when other preorder figure comes in.
I had to argue with them back and fourth as I paid for the shipping separately for each figure and so they expected me to pay more money then to ship separately.
Obviously I refused as I already paid the shipping they asked for each figure. I left it another week, 2 weeks after pre-order was supposed to be in. Description for the date of arrival still not changed and no update so asked for refund.
The figure is in stock in loads of stores so not sure what's going on but their customer service on their eBay is abysmal and tried to Sypher more money out of me.
I give only 3 stars as their actual website is good but will never deal with their eBay again.

As I said I love this store and it's a shame their ebay doesn't reflect how good they actually are on their website.

Thanks for the reply but like your website eBay also has that feature and to Ireland your postage is 4.80€, so I suggest changing that as you're gonna anger a lot of customer when you message them begging for money. All prices should upfront and transparent.

I am gonna be honest; I was a bit worried for a previous review, but at the end when you pay with PayPal you are always covered.

The package arrived in less than a week (Spain to Netherlands. Tracked delivery.

My favourite shop to buy figures.

My favourite shop to buy figures.
My first order had around 32 figures. Only one pop up parade box was crushed. I didn’t had the time to contact and was disappointed. Else I would definitely give 5 stars.

The recent figures came in a sturdy box and arrived good. The loyalty points are a nice bonus and customer service is friendly.

Amazing Retailer

I am an international customer, even though most of items are available in UK, I still order from global freaks, after new custom agreement of UK and EU (no fee for items lower than £135) it is even easier to order from global freaks without custom worry.

I did receive around 4 parcels from them, no damage at all, nicely packed and quick delivery.

My last order has been shipped on Friday, looks like will be delivered today (Tuesday) , yeay! :)

Also as new collector, I got confused and have done stupid orders multiple times, when I have communicated with them , they always have been polite and supportive. Great service!

Poor packing practices

MOC collectors beware, they fold cards in half to fit then in boxes.
Obiviuosly they do not cater for collectors.

Bent cards are not acceptable to collectors, if you understood your customer base you would know this.
The cards crease, so they cannot be bent back without still being creased.
As you think this is acceptable practice it is good that collectors know this.

The product purchased by this customer has a small piece of cardboard protruding from the plastic box that contains the figure and it was decided to fold it very slightly so that it would fit into a box of the correct size (otherwise it would have to be charged more shipping so that it could fit into a bigger box, which we considered unnecessary)

The product arrived in perfect condition. In fact using some force such as books could have returned that part of cardboard to its original state completely.

Even so, he was offered both a discount voucher and to collect the product and refund it, being rejected in both cases by the customer.

We are sorry that you are not satisfied and hope that you will trust us again in the future.

Don't order here if you don't live in spain or nearby. Only buy if you live in this area.

These guys don't pack there stuff carefully.
I got a packadge that was so porely packed all figures were wet. I spend an amount off €240 . First they wanted to ship me off with a discount voucher , then a second discount voucher , after that they only wanted to pay back the shipping witch only is around €6/€7.
Which means your stuck with items that have no value anymore cause boxes are damaged and figures have been wet. So that's a lost of €240 euro's.

Also another thing they just forget figures or replace them with something random. There is no checklist or any product document in the box. Which means these guys don't even check if you packadge is complete, you have to do that yourself. Another fun part they won't ship your lost figure they will give you again a voucher. It's a scamming trick they use often. This happend to me 3 times.
On facebook I also read that more people has this issue.

I don't say It's a bad store if you can visit it personally or live around the area, but if you don't they scam you. That because they know , you are not able to visit them sinds you live far away.

And in most cases to come back at the first story , if you don't agree with them they'll just denie that the packadge is from them or denie that the figures are missing. So you litterly have to go to a post office and weight the packadge and then send that proof.

But here comes the catch !!! If you order pre order figures or available figures with pre order, you'll have to weight untill the pre orders are available. These always take almost a year which passes the 180 day guarantee paypal money back.... so if you finally got the packadge and It's missing something or its damaged , paypal just tells you that It's been over 180 days so you don't get money back. These guys know that and that why they don't care about their overseas customer .

One even admitted it on an email sending
' haha , i don't care about your problem or complain, your only one Customer from the Netherlands so ,good luck , i don't care'

Also they don't take responsibility for packing and who packs it. If you ask to file a complain non of them gives names.

So again : Don't order here unless you have the option to visit the store personally otherwise you will get scammed or many end up with wet or damaged figures. And under no sercomstances you will get your money back from paypal or Global freaks.

Let this be a Warning and people speak up if this always happend to you.

And if you have personal names of these guys let me know.

We would like to start by saying that we are surprised by the time you are taking to try to discredit us on the platforms available for it. We will have no choice but to answer you.

First of all, we would like to record that it is a client who, in order to cancel an order for pre-sale figures, sent us an email indicating that his house was on fire, of which he even sent us photos. We only had to include these photos in google images to discover that it was a online new about a fire from 2 years ago, which shows what kind of people we are dealing with.

Regarding the order that arrived wet (always according to the client since after the first case it is difficult to believe him anymore) he was informed not to open the boxes. It was very important that he did not open the figures because it could be returned to the manufacturer but he himself decided to open all the figures so we could not return it to the manufacturer in this case. Still we tried to reach an agreement to which he responded by insulting us (and our mothers).

All the rest of the information it offers is totally a lie except that in one case due to an inventory error (before we worked with a software and automated all shipments), we did not have a figure which was informed and he himself decided to change it for something else (we never sent anything random and also gave it a discount and a extra shipping).

On the other hand, it clearly shows that you do not know our company because we do not have any physical store, we work everything online (impossible to "visit" us as indicated)

We also recommend that you read the section corresponding to pre-sales on our website where we explain how they work. There, we indicate that the order is sent when it is complete, on the other hand something totally logical since if you pay a shipment and buy 15 figures, we cannot make 15 shipments with only one paid order.

The customer lies again when he talks about customers from the Netherlands . Luckily, as of today we have 257 registered clients from this country and he is the only client from the Netherlands (or the world) that is giving us these problems.

Finally, there is no point in asking for our personal names. We do not know with what intention he does it but it leads us to think that he is a person who wants to ruin our reputation.
