I have been blocking unauthorized automatic payment to this company. They charged me EUR 41.94 without any reason. I signed up for a "free" trial. I NEVER signed up for "dance" service, I was just curious to see what the app was about. Some days after my free trial download, they charged me with 41.94 EUR. I asked why to the support and they replied: "Please note that according to our Terms of Use, subscriptions are non-refundable". But I never made a subscription! I am wondering whether this is legal.
UPDATE: I wrote to their customer service email, as they suggested below my initial review, but they confirmed what they said in response to my first email :(

Some kind of scam? My bank has blocked them twice now. Bank of America must be aware that they are a scam. They have tried unsuccessfully for two months now to charge me $29.99 with a charge called PAYPAL GISMART. This card is not linked to my PAYPAL account so it's an obvious scam. I have had to cancel the card and get a new one so they wouldn't keep hitting me up.

Reply from Gismart
I also looked at my PayPal account only to find out that I was charged 29.99 and then 59.99 2 more times for something I did not order. In fact I have no idea what they sell.

Reply from Gismart
Automatically taking 39.99 out of my account monthly. I did NOT order this service, nor do I want whatever this service is. When trying to correspond on their website, message will not go through. apparently an attempt so that you cannot correspond with them This is a scam!

I signed up for a "free" trial and was quickly charged $7.40 on my VISA card. I never signed up for a subscription to a dance exercise video from "Dance-bit.com", then a week later, they charged me $13.59, and 10 days later, another $13.59. The support number does not answer, and instead, refers to gismart's support email.

I was not happy with the way the transaction went on. It was not really easily warned I would be charged. Also the promised freebie that lead to the purchase was bad quality. All round negative experience with this Woofz app, and I have requested a refund through pay pal. Fingers crossed I get it. This is my first ever refund request for anything online, and i will gladly pay for anything I have needed to, like forgotten subscriptions, but this company does it sneakily, so you feel ripped off.

I was in essay period for an app « Woofz » they took 39,99$. The lack of transparency doesn’t give the will to pursue with the app.

I was charged $19.99 Paypal for "recurring payment" and then $39.99 a month. I cancelled the recurring monthly payments but am still 0ut $19.99 for NOTHING. I did sign up for a month dog training, which I never received any further information about so thought it didn't go through. I am filing fraud with Paypal unless I can get a refund of this payment. I've never heard of gismart but that's where it came from. I surely didn't sign up for any recurring payments either.

Do not trust, they try taking money several times a day... iv never even heard of gismart, all I did was buy more storage for my photos and bam these payments came up... complete rip off's, luckily I don't use the bank account anymore so ya won't get anything from me.

My initial review that I wrote about cardio mate app was that it wasn't easy to use and I gave it a one-star rating. When they reached out and asked for my feedback which I gave them, I was impressed by that and I upped it to a three. I am fine with being charged the $9.99 for the initial trial to test it out but not being charged the $39.99. I communicated with them and explained that I canceled during the trial and they have refunded my $39.99. I do hope others have more success with the program than me because it could be a very useful tool.

They do not show under apple subscription so it is not obvious you are being charged as they use auto payments on your PayPal. Money was only taken and within minutes I got in contact. Reply was that I have an auto payment so they are allowed to take the money and do not need to refund.

I ordered an app yesterday and was charged twice for it. I want a refund and cancellation. I don’t trust this company, and it looks like that’s a very common complaint. Shady.

I need my refund. I don't remember subscribing to any of your products.

Charged my account without warning for an app that I downloaded and then deleted. I was not told that I had subscribed to the app or that payments would be taken from my account. Terribly unethical business model at best, just a straight up scam at worst. Beware of this company!

Don't even know how I got this product. I have been charged $42 a month, for what?

I believed that my Paypal account had been used fraudulently to purchase products from Gismart.
I was trying to dispute this with Paypal who say I authorised the payment. I did not believe I had, as I did not recognise the name Gismart.
I tried to send this message to Gismart: 'Please advise of what steps I can take. I have never ordered or received anything from you.' but their contact page does not seem to be working.
HOWEVER, after reading through the reviews on ths page, I understand what has happened. In February, I downloaded Dancefit, blissfully unaware that I would be automatically put on subscription (and very expensive, too - £56.86 a quarter!). Dancefit was such a poor quality app that I stopped using it after three attempts and forgot all about it. I had no idea the company was Gismart, and so was alarmed when I saw payment going out to them.
I very much agree with what other people have said and feel it is incredibly unethical of Gismart to take subscriptions without alerting their customers that payment is about to go out. But, if the rest of their products are of equally poor quality, this is probably their only way to make money. There will be plenty of us falling for this trick. Personally, I'd like a refund of the £56.86. I've contacted my bank to block any further payments.

Found Gismart are taking £56 per quarter from my PayPal account. Didn't recognise the purchase, asked for clarification and refund. NO REFUNDS!! £150 later - money down the drain.

Total rip off. With one of the worst services i had seen. They tried charging me 69 euros for absolute no service claiming that i automatically subcribed to the app by downloading it. Worst part is the app called Dancebit in this case was an app i elimitated immiediately after downloading it because the content was increidibly lame, it was an absolute dissapointing that on top of having an awful app..they were also a scam.

TOTAL RIP OFF TRICKSTER COMPANY. Today I went to Apple Store to download the Woofz app for dog training. A 3-month subscription was $29.95. (didn't know at the time, but have since learned, that after 3 mo. they would automatically charge me $59.99 for another 3 months!!) Paid for it via PayPal and went into on my phone. After the short introduction, they required me to buy a "book" for $7.99 or the program would not continue. Can you believe the rip off of that? I have filed a complaint with the company which charged me under the name GISMART LIMITED. What a low brow trick!!!
