How this company uses Trustpilot
See how their reviews and ratings are sourced, scored, and moderated.
Warning!!! this company is well known for its “distinctive” approach to billing - one that many users only fully understand after being charged.
The same billing pattern appears across multiple GISMART apps (Luvly, Dancebit, Famio). I cancelled via Google Play, yet charges continued under a separate descriptor (FAST-LUVLY-CARE). Google confirmed these were external charges, so cancellation had no effect.
Thousands of similar complaints describe the exact same issue.
This case is now under an official Investigation of regulators, the payment processor, and my bank.
If you are also a victim of them, please contact your bank, relevant regulators, and the payment processor. DONT LET THEM get away!!
Think twice before subscribing to their apps - This is an important warning!!
-----------------------------------------------------------
Response to GISMART:
Again.. your reply does not address the core issue!!
I cancelled my subscription via Google Play, which from a user’s perspective should have stopped all billing. Despite this, charges continued under a separate billing descriptor that I never knowingly agreed to.
Google explicitly confirmed that these were external charges and not processed through Google Play.
I also did not receive any invoices or billing notifications for these charges - something that would normally be expected if it was transparent subscription service...
This creates a situation where a user reasonably believes everything has been cancelled, sees no active subscription, and is still being charged.
As evidence, there are thousands of negative reviews across platforms such as Trustpilot, Reddit, and Google Play, all describing nearly identical experiences.
At this scale, it is difficult to view this as an isolated case!
I trust that regulators and relevant authorities will thoroughly examine this matter and reach the appropriate conclusions. This raises the question of whether you prefer to escalate this matter further instead of addressing the underlying issue.
I would appreciate a clear and consistent explanation addressing these specific points.

Impossible to log in to cancel subscription of hello piano. I get charged for hello.piano.app and songbook.notepack. It is not listed in app subscriptions on my iphone and it is not possible to log in to the page to cancel this subscription.

I also had 2 $61.98 charges to my credit card made on 1/4 & 2/4/26 that I never signed up for. I contacted Paypal & asked them to cancel any auto renewal charges & have been trying to contact the company but they have not answered me so far. I never signed up for any of the Apps they feature on their website.

FRAUD!
GISMART, if this is what you call a response to my issue from Woofz, it is unacceptable! Only way to fix this is Issue my refund IMMEDIATELY!
Hello Jamissa,
Thank you for contacting Woofz; I will be happy to clarify the subscription.
As far as I can see, you purchased a Premium subscription to our app Woofz In your PayPal account, this purchase is associated with Gismart — our business name. Sorry for any confusion this may cause.
According to our records, you purchased a 4-week intro offer for 15.19 USD, which converts to a subscription of 38.95 USD after the first 4 weeks. Just in case, a detailed description of the subscription conditions is disclosed on the purchase screen.
Learn more about your subscription in the Woofz Web Profile (also available in the app).
After reviewing your case, we see that a dispute was filed through PayPal regarding your payment.
According to the resolution from PayPal, the case was decided in our favor, which means we are unable to issue a refund at this time.
We understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding.
If there’s anything else we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to let us know.
Warm regards,
Julia

MY RESPONSE
FRAUD - My mistake by not checking my PayPal account more frequently, I will take that BLAME. Mid December 2025 I had an alert from my credit union about a charge for $233 from PayPal. Upon researching the company that charged my PayPal account is called GIsmart. I have never ever done business with this company. Looking further into my PayPal account they also charged my account 39.99, in June of 2025. I immediately contacted PayPal to dispute these charges. A couple days letter PayPay denied my claim via email. I called them back already frustrated and they resubmitted my dispute again. Few days later once again, they sided with the seller again. Called them one more time and asked for the sellers (contact information) in which they provided me the same email as everyone else has been given from GIsmart as a reply on other reviews. I reach out via email and requested them to provide me what was purchased, I had no idea of what it was at that point and never ever ordered anything from this company. Got a automated response which I will cut and paste at the end of my review. Basically they will get back to me between 24-48 hours.
Brings us to today! Contacted PayPal again and they pretty much refused to help me, I asked for a phone number to GIsmart, they have no phone number on file. (How is that possible, you can’t open a PayPal account without a phone#). That was a major red flag for me! Than I asked to be escalated to a supervisor, spoke with the supervisor at PayPal. Spent 15 minutes going back and forth. Than I asked for the fraud department and lo and behold he disconnected the call and now I’m here.
I’m not going to let this go! No one should if they been fraudulently charged.
GIsmart, if you read this message it’s in your best interest to refund every penny back to me ASAP. You know what the right thing to do! Do not send me a generic response, I am tired of the games.
Below if it all fits has been my correspondence to you that was emailed to your so called support email.

Update: after my review gismart responded. I emailed as asked and… nothing. Zero response. Scam!
Got billed for a coaching program on luvly that i didnt order. They cancelled straight away but not after withdrawing a payment for the cancelled program. They even tried to withdraw a second time! The responses to my emails are vague and just a scam to dalay processing my refund.

Like the others here, there is no susbscription listed in my apple store account and I am being charged. This is the second month with 39.99 for hello piano AND something I didn't even purchase called Karaoke-Sing-Songs for 9.99 each month. SO FRUSTRATED. I emailed support--only an automate response and nothing else. I did a review in the apple store. I finally actually logged in to the app tried their comment form. The FAQ says handle it with Apple but there is NO SUSBSCRIPTION listed. It's wild that there are good ratings in the apple store for this when they are clearly scamming us all. I may have to cancel my Credit Card to get this madness to end. How annoying.
Update: it's been about week since I wrote this review and they did respond via email to the request I submitted on their online form. They are refunding me and cancelling my subscriptions.

I have an unauthorised Paypal transaction to Gismart and have no idea what it is about. I contacted them first through their email via Paypal and then through their website contact form. I received an acknowledgement of correspondence with a promise of 24-48 hour turnaround of my inquiry. Since then, nothing. No response, no explanation. I have no subscriptions in my PlayStore and can find nothing to indicate that I might have signed up with Gismart for any of their apps.
Gismart's response here was quicker than me asking them for help via their own channel. And once again they want me to contact them even though they haven't answered my other 2 enquiries. My question is simple: what app am I supposedly signed up for? That would clear this all up quickly. Read Gismart's reply to everyone complaining. It's standard blah blah blah, shows they didn't read my review properly and provided zero help or any real answer. Absolutely pathetic customer service.

Total scam. I signed up for a three day trial and paid 1.99 The website seemed legit enough. It didn’t take long to realize that the website wasn’t worth money to access, so I had no intention of subscribing longer or renewing anything. I am guessing that the actual website has little to no content beyond the three days. My three days expired yesterday and I was surprised to not get an email or anything, expecting that they would offer a longer subscription. Now I know why. This morning I received an email from PayPal that these scammers automatically took 29.99 more. Apparently, they added an automatic payment option for themselves when I paid the original 1.99. I had no idea PayPal even allowed that. Even after charging the additional money, no email, nothing from these scammers. The only way I could even access the website is through my original link from social media. When I view my account, they state that I don’t have any subscription. Which means no access to any content on their site, not that I want access since the information is not good. Whatever you do, do not sign up for anything with these scammers.
In case Gismart replies to this review as they have many others, acting concerned and suggesting they be contacted for assistance. I have already sent several emails which go unanswered.
For anybody in my situation being scammed through PayPal, to cancel:
Go to Settings in your PayPal account, little gear looking icon at the top.
Click Payments.
Select Subscriptions and saved businesses or Automatic Payments.
Select the merchant.
On this page, you can cancel the automatic payment.
I will be pursuing this through PayPal and my credit card; as well as filing a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office. These scammers need to be put out of business. No legit business would charge consumers without so much as an email to confirm the charge.

This is a complete rip-off, a scam! Don't activate your subscription!! I have no option to cancel my subscriptions to the Hello Piano (Learn Piano) and Karaoke apps because they aren't linked to my Apple ID and don't appear in my device's subscription list. I've sent several emails to support without receiving any response, and of course, they still haven't canceled the automatic charges. I want a real solution; don't tell me again to write to your email address, which suspiciously doesn't respond to subscription cancellation requests.

They suck your money from different apps such as Dancebit and Hello-piano. You just apply for trial period and that’s it, you can say goodbye to your money. Impossible to unsubscribe. It doesn’t appear among your subscriptions there isn’t any way. If you contact them they never give money back, shame on Apple AppStore that allows this to happen. In 3 months they manage to suck around 100 usd.

I wish I could rate negative zero for GISMART. They have been fraudulently charging my business account, as well as personal accounts via PAYPAL. I only discovered this when I looked at my paypal account and saw charges spanning from September,2023-November 2025!!! In the total amount of $1133.50. I have never heard of this company, nor did I sign up for Dancebit app. I searched apps downloaded on my phone, nothing under this name. One charge was for $209.90! the rest for $41.98 per month. My bank as well as Paypal are investigating. If you have been charged by them get in touch with your bank asap!

Unauthorized charges and NO support!!!
I have been billed multiple times without my consent, and it is IMPOSSIBLE to reach anyone for help. There is no clear way to cancel or stop the charges, which feels deliberately manipulative. I am tech savvy and work in the subscription-based business—yet this system is intentionally opaque.
If I do not receive an immediate resolution and refund, I will escalate this with other platforms and file a formal complaint. This is unacceptable, unethical, and feels like a scam. TERRIBLE customer experience.
