Time to fight back
Time to fight back .. you can't let these organisations win. If you were affected on 4th August on any of the Entain platforms (Gala, Coral, Foxy, Ladbrokes, etc) go find the Whatsapp group "Gala bingo justice". Help them to help you
Site is a joke
Took a break because It was impossible to get any sort of win on here.... Come back £200 later and still nothing. RTP is absolute BS.. spun over 200 times biggest win 80p! Site is a absolute joke! Bonus rounds do not exist! I've played on gala for over 5 years and have NEVER got a bonus round on any of the games I've played!
Im closing the account indefinitely as I'd rather play somewhere that is fair play not robbery!
I don't know how this site hasn't been investigated by the gaming commission to be honest.
The technical problem that led to…
The technical problem that led to people receiving large amounts that were later cancelled was unfortunate.
If you are playing for a total prize pot of £150 and are awarded a £2000 prize you clearly know it was an error of some sort.
If that happened to me my immediate thought would be to contact gala and ask how have I won £2000 when the total prize pot is just £150.
I think gala should give free spins or a small amount of credit to play bingo to the players involved as a goodwill gesture.
All one BIG scam.
All one BIG scam.
Gala Bingo players have been left "angry" and "disgusted" after a technical glitch led them to believe they had won thousands of pounds.
Several punters received notifications saying they had won an online bingo game, with some able to withdraw the money. But they were later told there had been a "technical error" and the winnings did not exist.
The affected customers were playing the Summer Nights Bingo promotion, which cost 1p a ticket or bingo card and had a maximum prize pot of £150.
The Money team understands the issue occurred when the consolation prizes were being awarded during the game.
Due to the error, the prize pot ballooned, with people seemingly handed a share of more than £1.6m over the course of two hours.
Screenshots shared with Money showed players getting prizes of between £40 and £2,400.
However, players later received this message: "Unfortunately, due to a technical error on Monday 4 August, your account was incorrectly credited with Bingo winnings."
More than 166 people have joined a "Justice for Gala Victims" Facebook group, with many customers sharing their experiences of the glitch.
The Gambling Commission, which is responsible for regulating and licensing gambling businesses in the UK, told Money it was investigating the technical issue.
Emma Wills, a mother of three, was excited to see a notification telling her she had won a runner-up prize of £920 after spending around £1.20 on the 1p tickets.
"I was shocked, I was thinking 'oh my gosh, I can take the kids out somewhere nice while they're with me for the holidays, I can pay off a few of my debts, and I can give money for a car,' and obviously that quickly went out the window," the 34-year-old from London said.
The following morning, she tried to log into her Gala Bingo account but found it had been suspended for 24 to 48 hours.
She contacted the company and was told there had been a "malfunction" and she hadn't actually won anything.
Instead, she said, Gala Bingo refunded some of the money she deposited - a total of 77p.
"I was really angry, along with a lot of other people, because I feel like we won. It's quite upsetting because I thought I could do quite a bit with that money. I just don't think it's fair," Wills said.
"I'm on universal credit, so I don't get a lot of money. Because I thought I'd won, I ended up buying little things for [my children] to do. It wasn't a lot, like £41... when I realised I wasn't getting the money, I was like 'crap I shouldn't have done that'."
Wills had been a regular Gala Bingo customer, logging in each day to use the free spins and depositing between £10 and £20 a month, but said she had now been put off playing it.
"I haven't used it since. I want to get all my winnings back... I don't feel like it should be taken off me or other people. I don't think [Gala Bingo] care," she added
Gala Bingo's terms and conditions set out that if an account is credited with winnings as a result of a "malfunction", it will void the relevant transaction and withhold any resulting winnings.
This applies whether the malfunction was clear to customers and Gala Bingo or not.
"If you have withdrawn any such winnings, you agree that you will pay them back to us as and when we ask you to," the T&Cs state.
'I started planning my wedding'
Technician Adam Wall believed he had won enough money to start planning his wedding after spending around £20 on the game.
After only three games, he was told he'd won three £2,400 prizes. After £7,200 hit his Gala Bingo account, he immediately withdrew the funds.
"Me and the Mrs were sitting on the sofa... we're quite elated because we'd just won a serious amount of money. We sat there making plans to pretty much elope and get married," the 45-year-old from North Wales said.
"We've been together 10 years and we haven't had the chance. That's how we went to bed, we were in dreamland.
"All sorts were going through my head. I woke up Tuesday and stopped that, put my teeth back in. I had no notifications from the bank or Gala."
Wall said he tried to log in to his Gala Bingo account, but it had been suspended. Later that day, his account was restored and he saw his winnings withdrawal had been cancelled.
He contacted the company to complain and was told about the error.
"It's a pretty big technical glitch when you're playing around with people's lives like that," he said.
"It might be alright for me, but what happens if you are on the breadline? You're talking real dangerous play by Gala Bingo and that's what's got my back up the most.
"I had a right s*** week. You're on a massive high... planning a marriage, bits and bobs around the house, and then you wake up and you feel like you've been scammed."
After he complained, the father-of-one said he was offered 10 free spins and given £50 extra in his account.
Absolutely awful experience - Action must be taken.
Absolutely awful experience. UK gambling commission must take action on this surely, its absurd. The way Gala have handled is just totally unreasonable. I was involved in the Monday night debacle on bingo, lucky for me it was only £200 I lost out on but I feel for all those people with winnings of £5k-£20k that they refused to pay, take them to court and get justice.
Those loads of players bless their hearts, won between £5000-£10,000, even by the live bingo caller/chatbot were told winnings were genuine and enjoy your winnings, I watched it, absolutely sick, only then to be told you will not be receiving your winnings, how Evil and sick is that. Just simply laughing at and taking the Pxxx out of people.
Guys seriously there was hundreds of people involved and it only takes around 50k to bring Gala to court so if some people chip together on the Facebook group we can definitely take this company to court and win this battle and they will have to pay out to all players.
Gala are part of the entity group, they are a 2 billion pound company so a 1.6 million payout is nothing to them, its just pure greed. End of the day you messed up so just pay the winnings out.
What is really shocking and disgusting though is that they did not even give any reasonable fairwill gestures to those players involved, for example people told they won £5000 and they offer them a £20 bonus, totally disgusting, disrespectful and just taking the piss out of people. Its just not a fair resolution.
They seem to think they are above the law this company like all online gambling companies but its far from that. I really hope you guys pitch together and take this company to court and win. They need their license withdrawn asap. Just a bunch of bullies like most online gambling companies.
Honestly guys just do not gamble online, see my other reviews. I have learnt the hard way, trust me.
This company like many others, they operate online so they think they are above the law and have a license to do what they want, they think they are untouchable.
But to not even give players involved a reasonable payout as a gesture is disgusting/totally unacceptable. If they are not going to payout the winnings then All people involved in this should have a minimum of £100 credited to their account at an absolute minimum.
Im glad I quit most gambling, companies cannot be trusted, quick enough to take your money but they just take the piss of out people.
GREEDY HORRIBLE COMPANY, DISGUSTING THEIVING RATS WITH NO VALUES OR MORALS, BUNCH OF BULLIES. JUST TAKING THE PISS OUT OF PEOPLE.YOU DO NOT DESERVE A GAMBLING LICENSE. HORRIBLE BASTARDS.
Make a Case against Gala Bingo with IBAS
Also won £12570 on 4th August. Cancelled my withdrawal and closed my account. I have taken this further and have a case against them with IBAS. Please all do the same so we can get our money back.

Big Wins — But Left Feeling Completely Let Down
I recently had two big wins on Gala Bingo — £2,390.00 and another £620.00. What should have been an exciting and positive experience quickly turned into something incredibly upsetting.
After these wins, I noticed things that didn’t feel right. My balances weren’t clear, bonus funds and withdrawable funds became confusing, and I didn’t feel there was any transparency in how my account was handled.
I expected clear communication and fair treatment — instead, I was left feeling disappointed and mistrustful.
Winning should feel good — not stressful. Gala Bingo has completely ruined that experience for me, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone based on how this was handled.

I won £800 on bingo then I was told it was a technical error so they didn't pay me my winnings. So be careful if you win on gala as you might not receive your winnings. They also closed my account for 48 hours . Discussing behaviour
They are criminal
They are criminal, quick enougtobe take your money. To even say after the fact when they’ve checked and been told to enjoy the money corrupt.

Won in penny game and scammed because of their glitch they continue to let us play knowing that this was happening I won £840 and I withdrew this immediately it went in my bank I spent it last night now I'm worrying they will try to take this back as a single struggling mum on benefits and also a carer to my add and ADHD child spent money in sensory items now my benefits may be taken to retrieve this win
They won’t even give the £10 back that…
They won’t even give the £10 back that I used to play on the broken software
I won £11500 on the glitch and now I’m down a tenner 😂
Don’t use gala bingo they will scam you out of any money,
They probably gave out £millions falsely - if anyone knew the full extent it would probably be in the news and get them fined - they should be compensating customers - at least giving the stake back 🤦🏻♂️ shocking…
Won £8800 on 4 August
Won 8800 on 4 August, withdrew but gala cancelled it but continued to let people keep staking their money all night, closed everyone’s account that won at 2am, said there was a glitch and no one was entitled to the money, yet some people that managed to withdraw theirs were allowed to keep it, we have not been refunded any money or offered any compensation or explanation, we all win fair and square and should be entitled to our winnings
I also won money in bargain bingo on…
I also won money in bargain bingo on Monday night luckily I withdrew and got my 1980 before they removed my account !
Same as everyone else
Same as everyone else. Partner won £2,400 3 times, amounting to £7,200. We requested to withdraw around 9pm and by the morning they had closed the account and were ignoring us for 24hrs. We were then able to log back in and all transactions cancelled. This cannot happen and we will be taking this further. We will not go away. You are ruining lives. My mental health is in the gutter over this!
Just pay people what they're due! My partner is in an extremely bad place today and im concerned for everyone's mental health.
I won 2 lots of £2400 requested the…
I won 2 lots of £2400 so I done the withdrawal first one for £2390 the second for the whole £2,400 then exactly the same thing happened! No payout and closed account. It seems everytime someone wins big they have these ‘technical issues’ I will be informing the gaming commission about this as it’s disgusting. They’re quick enough to take our money but don’t want to pay out our winnings. I think for a large company this is disgusting. The hurt and disappointment they are causing is awful. It took them nearly 6 hours to close my account and were happy to let me continue playing after I requested the withdrawal. So they are happy to take your money, but don’t want to pay out. DISGUSTING! Surely if there was technical issues I wouldn’t of been able to continue to play?
Won £930 last night 4th August
Won £930 last night 4th August. Withdrew the money said it was under review. This morning I woke up this morning my account had been closed and suspended. When I was able to get back in all the money had been reversed back to them and removed my account.

like many people today,i also won 7200 last night only for my account to be closed today and the funds removed, but was paid out £72 which was credited to my account when it was finally able to open it,then as i was reading other people experiences in chat bar,my account went to zero, whith once again another technical issue, which seems to be a regular occurance with Gala, now going back to the 4th aug,i can understand there being a technical issue, but to let it go on for as long as it did was pure incompetance, stay away from Gala, they are not worth your hard earned
