Misled and lied to, dash cam footage stating they should break the cam belt. Told my brakes were illegally low and I couldn’t pick car up without having these replaced during service. Also told water pump was broken, despite no warning lights on my dash and the coolant being at the correct level two days prior when I washed the car. I believe they broke the water pump on purpose, what they didn’t know was it was under guarentee at another garage. They left the brakes dangerous and when taken back to them the dash cam picked up them saying “break the cambelt” which the company fail to acknowledge. I will be going to trading standards and taking legal action.

Some of the issues with easy fixes were pushed at gunpoint for complete replacement of parts. These were fixed at 1/4th of the price quoted at other local garages. Not the first time, I let go a few times but not anymore.

On Thursday 9th April 2026 my car - a 2017 BMW 5 Series - was booked in to F1Autocentre Crawley via ASDA Tyres for 4 new tyres (£404) and a 4 Wheel Alignment (£90) as offered by F1Autocentre on their website. The time was for 1230hrs. On the day of the booking I received a phone call from Rishi of F1Autocentre Crawley at 0947hrs informing me they did not have a booking (How did he have my number and details) as ASDA use a different system. He asked if I could bring the car in at 0330hrs.
Just before 0330hrs I attended F1Autocenrtre and spoke with Rishi on reception who confirmed the above work was to be carried out and that he would call me when it was done.
I returned to F1Autocentre around 1730hrs an d sat in the waiting area. I saw my car still on a ramp. I heard Rishi tell another member of staff to assist the male who was working on my car. (This was for the alignment). After a while my car was then driven to the front and the male who was working on vehicle came in talking oddly about ‘the machine’ ( I assume the alignment machine) and issues he was having with it. Rishi asked him to keep his voice down as “the customer was in there”. I went to ask what was wrong and the male said the alignment machine had done the rear tyres but reset when he was doing the front. He said “drive it for a few days and any issues comeback to us”.
This was around 17:45hrs. I left the venue and began driving but my car was pulling severely to the LEFT. Then I had several warnings pop up on the iDrive:
DRIVER ASSISTANCE RESTRICTED
PEDESTRIAN ALERT SYSTEM PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE
FRONT END COLLISION WARING SYSTEM PARTIAL OR TOTAL FAILURE
I pulled over to call F1Autocentre but there was no answer. They shut at 1800hrs.
I phoned F1Autocentre first thing on Friday 10th April at 0831hrs and it was answered by Rishi. He knew who I was and I told him in they had damaged my car. I explained the car pulled left and he said “I can book you in to rectify this” but when I said you have messed with the radar system his reply was:
“Does your car have cruise control?”
When I said yes he replied:
“Our system can not do the alignment if your car has cruise control”
My response was why on earth did you not ask that when I brought the car to you and before you or the other employee started working on it. He could only state I should call Asda tyres and request a refund for the alignment. When put to him what about the system failures he could only repeat contract Asda and ask for a refund. I asked to speak to his manager, who he told me was not in until Monday. I told Rishi to get his manager to call me on Monday. To this day I have not received a phone call or email from any manager. Vehicle calibration is in excess of £100, more as my vehicle would need Dynamic Calibration.
I took my car to a reputable garage on Saturday. The garage - who were superb (review to follow) conducted a 4 wheel alignment. I told them about the fault warnings that would come up but said I know that’s not form you guys as I took it somewhere else on Thursday who caused that issue.
After the garage completed the 4 wheel alignment they told me some shocking revelations -
The technician from F1Autocentre had sprayed WD40 all over the inside of the wheels but more shockingly had LEFT SEVERAL WHEEL NUTS LOOSE ON THE TYRES.
This is GROSS NEGLIGENCE. The garage said F1Autocentre would argue this as they had corrected this but it was worth informing them of this.
I made an official complaint to F1Autocentre via their website on Monday 13th April 2026. Again, I have had no one contact me regarding this and I have allowed 72 hours as per their response time.
DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE! You have been warned!

Delighted with the service from Chris and his team today. Despite clearly being very busy before the NYE shut down, they fitted me in on the day to look at the slow puncture that I thought had ruined my NYE plans.

Booked my vehicle in for an MOT and a service. I picked them because they were the cheapest around.
dropped it off at 8:30, friendly reception, quick drop off. I got a phone call later about some issues including a washer pump. although Tony he struggled to get the part he worked magic and got my car sorted.
I couldn’t collect until the following day which was no problem for them.
Collection was a breeze.
10/10 would recommend.
Terrible service. They are running workshops to fail the MOT and not interested in fixing the issues. Don't fall for lower prices. Customers have to fend for themselves.

Had an appointment for 1pm for 4 tyres. The person said it would take 2 hours to do. I think they like to go slow. When it takes about 40 minutes. Plus no seats in the waiting area.
