RAC employee Kyle (5477) remained in communication throughout the day to keep me up to date regards his arrival time. On arrival Kyle was polite, well mannered and gave clear communication as to what was getting carried out on the car and, how long this might take. Once finished, Kyle informed me of the repair diagnostics and work carried out. Overall a very pleasant experience with work carried out in a timely fashion.

Arrived exactly when he said he would. An all round hassle-free experience from a friendly mechanic who knew what he was doing.

Excellent service from the RAC mobile mechanic Bradlee. He carried out an interim service on my car and replaced the water pump, all in a professional and efficient manner.

He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly took pride in his work. Everything was explained clearly, and the job was completed to a very high standard. It was extremely convenient having the work done at my location without having to take the car to a garage.

I’m very impressed with the service and would definitely recommend the RAC mobile mechanic to anyone looking for reliable and professional car servicing and repairs.

What made this great: that the booking window was the next day after I began my inquiry. Grateful to be contacted as published by both the centralised service and the named Mobile Mechanic. This was by SMS and I used this to notify the Mechanic of how to find my vehicle which was garaged away from the main road.

Your Mechanic was courteous, though not very smiley and warm. Perhaps this was because I was the last job of the day and it was late-morning. They were easy to get along with, as far as things went.

I was asked about the length of time the vehicle had been garaged: the battery had completely discharged.

Grateful that in identifying the engine management advisory light was lit, that they followed this up and was able to reassure me that it had gone out, when the engine was turned over for a 2nd time.

I understand from your Mechanic there is a 3-year warranty on the replacement battery and I can call you out at any stage, should it fail.

I was given some brief advice to take the vehicle out to be driven.

This was a short visit, uncomplicated and efficiently carried out.

Perhaps a small point, but as I had handed the vehicle's key fob to the Mechanic at the beginning of their visit, it would have been a courtesy and a useful sign-post of the successful end to the visit, had the key fob been handed back. As it was, your Mechanic pointed to the vehicle roof, where they had left it.

It was useful to know that settling your invoice would happen after the conclusion of the visit. I don't know that this was obvious from the website, though I can understand this has obvious business/finance advantages.

Received great assistance from Adam at the roadside and Jamey the following day with an at-home repair. Can't fault the response times from original call out and then to scheduling a home repair for the following day. Adam and Jamey were both understanding, calm, helpful and conscientious. I knew what was happening at all times. I've not had to use the service before but it has given me a lot more confidence going forward.

Alfie who came to service my car is a very conscientious, methodical, experienced mechanic. He was very patient to explain to me all the work he was doing during the service. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone who needs their car(s) serviced.
