Life is too short not to have the best. Here at Cocoba, we believe in creating exceptional quality chocolate products and drinks to enjoy. We search the globe for the highest quality cocoa beans and best tasting chocolate (it’s a tough job, but someone has to do it). The concept for the chocolate brand started with a memory. Cocoba’s founder, Darren, is from Australia where he grew up sharing delicious hot chocolates with his grandfather that he carefully made, not from powder, but using real, premium chocolate. When Darren came to the UK, he could not find a chocolate drink that matched the one from his childhood, so he decided to create it. Cocoba first launched as a pop-up kiosk in Brent Cross Shopping Centre in 2012, serving our signature hot chocolates and handmade chocolate treats. The kiosk quickly became so popular that, just over a year later, Darren took the plunge and opened the first Cocoba Chocolate Café in Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent - now a much-loved independent gem renowned for its exceptional hot chocolates and irresistible chocolate desserts. As word went round and the popularity of our cafe grew, and so did our customers' love of our chocolate and hot chocolate products which we were making and decorating by hand behind the counter. We are now in our third and biggest production unit so far, and are happily able to supply our exquisite chocolate and hot chocolate treats to farm shops and delis all over the UK and beyond, as well as some larger retailers, and online via cocobachocolate.com too. As a family-run company with Australian heritage, we are thrilled to have teamed up with Aussie Ark – a committed conservation organisation who are striving to save critically endangered wildlife in Australia and create a long-term future for these threatened species. Really Really Tasty Chocolate!

I’ve ordered from CocoBa Chocolate a few times now and I’m always impressed with the quality. Their Salted Caramel truffles are AWESOME! Perfect for gifts or treating yourself... Delivery is always quick and really nice packaging. Their team are friendly and helpful if you need to get in touch, and they’ve sorted things out professionally when needed.

I’d definitely recommend them for anyone who loves great chocolate.

Still have not recieved my order!!!

Still have not recieved my order from this company...royal mail just do not seem to want to deliver this item. Each time they say its out for delivery its not delivered been ages now and still no order. Have been told they have sent it out again but still no order..i paid for tracked 48!!!! This has put me off ever ordering again. Sort my order out!!!

Amazing chocolate

I've ordered from this company a number of times mainly for the chocolate spoons - they are amazing. The quality of the chocolate is top notch - very smooth and feels luxurious. One of the recipients of the chocolate spoons reached out to me asking where I get these as it's also the best chocolate he's ever tasted!

No customer service whatsoever

No customer service whatsoever. Bought the Mystery box for£24.50 which said was £70 of chocolate. When it arrived I checked items against the 50% off sale and the value was just over £30. When I queried it I was told that even though all the goods were short date and 50%off online, they were using full price to value the goods in the box, what an absolute con !!!

I would like to update that my issue has since been resolved thank you !

Excellent Service, High Quality Items

I’ve been using Cocoba for around 4–5 years now, usually ordering at Christmas or for birthdays. The chocolate always tastes fantastic, and delivery has consistently been quick and reliable. The presentation is excellent, making it ideal for gifts. A particular favourite is their large jar of milk chocolate buttons, which always goes down well and makes a great present.

Wicked hot chocolate bombs …

I have just received my order yesterday wicked hot chocolate bombs and spoons I can’t wait to give them to my daughter on Christmas Eve I now wish I’d ordered a few more
Delivery was a bit longer than website stated however it is Christmas and I did receive an email apologising for this and assuring it was to arrive before Christmas so was not a problem at all and feel the reviews about delivery unfair as they are a small business after all

I've ordered from these guys before…

I’ve ordered from this company before without any problems, but this time has been a completely different experience. I placed an order on December 1st with an expected delivery time of 3–5 days. It’s now December 9th, and my order still shows as “unfulfilled” on their website. I contacted customer service and was told that they’re very busy—which is understandable at this time of year—and that my order was being prioritised, as I need it by December 11th. However, there’s still no update to indicate that it’s been picked or dispatched. Instead, I received a generic email from the CEO explaining how busy they are, that they’re a small family business, and that orders will arrive in time for the big day. Unfortunately, I need my order before the big day, and it’s clear it won’t arrive in time. I’ll be requesting a refund and purchasing elsewhere.

DON'T ORDER, A DISGRACE OF A COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE

I would give this a big fat 0 but unfortunately you have to give it something to be able to post,
After placing an order over a week ago it is still on unfulfilled,
I've contacted them by email and all i get back is a generated reply saying they would get back, still no reply, the only phone number is for their coffee shop and they won't give you their head office number or even a number you can call,
I just wished I'd read the reviews on here first before ordering
I've had to contact my bank for them to get my money back.

Great product, but…

I’ll say firstly that Cocoba make great products, I was very happy with the Easter egg I bought this year and it was quickly scoffed by my other half, so a massive thumbs up from him! :)
However, I’m less than impressed with the way that an issue with my delivery was handled. It was delivered in error to a house halfway down my street and thankfully I have very honest people living there as they came over a few days later to give it to me. Personally I think you should refund delivery costs in those circumstances. However, Cocoba stated that they wouldn’t do this as the item was left with a neighbour. I would accept this if it was next door or a few doors down, but halfway down a massive street is not that! Whilst I loved the product, I won’t be buying from there again and offering me a small discount to spend money with them again is not a good resolution.

3+ £1 Coffee Network vouchers not accepted!

Attempted to use my 3+ £1 Coffee Network voucher at Cocoba Bluewater. Staff refused to accept voucher, claiming they no longer accepted them. “No longer accepted them” - and I thought the vouchers were brand new! Very disappointing.

We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially if you were looking forward to using your Coffee Network voucher. Unfortunately, this particular voucher was created and published on the Three+ platform without Cocoba’s (Bluewater) permission. As a result, we had no prior knowledge of the offer and were not involved in its setup or approval.

Due to this, the voucher was suspended and subsequently cancelled. As outlined in the terms and conditions on the voucher, we do reserve the right to amend, cancel, or suspend offers at any time without prior notice.

We do sincerely apologize for any confusion or disappointment this may have caused and hope this doesn’t deter you from visiting us again in the future.

Mystery Box

Bought mystery box but was really disappointed with the contents,mainly for making drinks.Would not purchase again.The chocolate is lovely and the box was good value but it was the variety that was lacking

Great Customer Service & quick resolution of missing order

I recently ordered some Gruffalo chocolates for my son for Christmas. I ordered them on the 23rd November. They very quickly sent out an email saying my order had been dispatched and gave me a Royal Mail tracking number.
After 2 weeks the order still hadn’t arrived and Royal Mail website just kept saying they were expecting the parcel.

I emailed Cocoba Chocolate and received a response within 2 days apologising for the problem, that it definitely should be with me by now (3-5working days) and they would investigate for me. The parcel seem to have got lost and so they quickly sent out a replacement (informing me an item was out of stock and offered a substitute or a refund for that item). Dispatched it straight away and even changed the form of delivery, this time using Amazon. I received the item earlier than expected and I know my son will love these when he opens them on Christmas morning.

For me what the fact that the item was late/lost was not the issue it’s how the problem is dealt with. I was very pleased with the response time, the customer service provided by Carly and the resolution.

Terrible experience!

The order was not delivered to my address but instead delivered to some wrong address 8 miles away which was confirmed by Amazon delivery. Have emailed for refund and no response from cocoba.
