If I could give zeros stars I would. Ive used nice & easy for years and the recent changes in formula and ultra gloss condition is terrible. The quality of the condition has gone down so much and i... See more

My hair was only bleached 5 weeks ago and my hair is naturally bright blonde anyway. I bought the Rose Quartz Blonde It Up toner for a pink tint and i followed the instructions as best as i could. Before I even finish putting it on my hair, the colour was way darker than advertised. But I trusted the instructions and carried on waiting and by the time I washed it, it was a disgusting grey/purple/sewage colour, nothing like the advertised colour on the box. I'm so disappointed and it's not as if the company cares about the results so now I have to mess my hair up more bleaching, because this company can't manufacture a simple toner. -1000/10 DO NOT USE.
I have been using Nice and Easy for decades
I have been using Nice and Easy for decades but the box of medium brown I bought and used today has not performed in the usual way. Something has drastically changed. My grey roots are orange and dark staining from the dye on my skin will not wash away at all. It hasn't even faded. This is a first.
false promise & loss of money
CLAIROL nice'n easy DOES NOT COVER GRAY 100%. It's a false promise and loss of money. Maximum tone change 10-15%.
Bought (6A) at HEB in Spring, TX, USA

Blonde it up! Not!
Bought Clairol Blonde it up toner, gladly not permanent colour, been bleaching my hair for years as I'm blessed with a dull mousey colour, thought I'd Blonde it up as home bleaching always looks a bit yellowish. Followed instructions to the letter, it's left me with hair that is back to my boring mousey colour, axact opposite of what I want. Can't find an email address anywhere. Frantically washing my hair twice a day now to try and get rid of it, I'm going on holiday next week. Sods law. Won't be using that again!
The product is nice but the clairol…
The product is nice but the clairol Balayage highlights, come on give some more powder for the highlight. We were half way through and had to run back to the store to get more, and get a better brush. Do better
Natural Instincts Clairol shade mid-brown
Natural Instincts Clairol shade light brown or ash brown - zero amonia - vegan colour.
I am really concerned about hair dye colours that are sold in Boots or savers etc. The chemical itself I have no problem with so clairol natural instincts is vegan colour with no amonia. However if I try to dye my hair that is grey now but was a mid -brown. With most hair dyes regardless of the coolur the hair goes jet black for about 2 weeks then eventually goes a brown and then ginger colour. I don't alweys have money to go the hairdressers so I do use these hairdyes occasionally.
If my hair goes jet black, I potentially could get the sack from work for this. I only ever buy ash brown or mid brown. On the first application they do go jet black. I can't go pout of the house like this, it is embarrassing.
I have been advised even though I am naturally a brown hair colour to try a blonde tone as these do go brown on first application and then lighten after a few weeks. However a work place can sack you for the colour turning out wrong. Anything in boots now I don't use. So l'oreal and clairol and swartzkov etc. I have green eyes. I have had around 25 years of putting up with pretty bad colurant. However the actual chemical of natural instincts I don't have any problem with just the colour it turns out. I am considering compensation as the colours do ruin really decent mid -brown hair ! Especially on young people it looks awful when you know that umderneath they have lovely hair colour.
Very nice no ammonia hair dye
Very nice no ammonia hair dye, people who right here don't know how to use and they complain about the results but it got more natural ingredients, I just used it and my hair is soft and shiny. The only thing you need to understand it will fade faster as it got no ammonia, but the rest is amazing 🤗
Don’t be fooled into buying this Product
My hairdresser coloured my hair today for me using the Medium Ash Brown hair colour! I had a white patch of root regrowth coming through. To my horror the regrowth has turned out a horrible brassy orange /red colour and not the medium Ash brown I was expecting! I am absolutely livid as had it done especially to attend a wedding this weekend! Don’t know what the hell im going to do now ! First time using Nice and Easy Hair Dye not fit for purpose!
I have used L’Oréal hair colours in the past with no issues! The instructions were followed to the letter so Hair Dye was correctly applied!
Contacted Clairol Customer service and they were extremely helpful and apologised and refunded the price of the Hair Dye!
Clairols New Nice and Easy in Light Ash Blonde 9A ruined my hair
I have been using Clairol Nice and Easy in Light Ash Blonde (9A) and have always had great results. I colored my hair about 2 weeks ago and it came out absolutely horrible! It’s very dry, dull, and brittle. They must have changed the ingredient's or formula because my hair looks and feels worse than it did before I colored it with this new crap! Now, I have to find someone to fix my hair. Shame on them for trying to sell a cheaper version and lying to consumers about how much better this new formula is! They should pay for the damage their “new and improved” product has caused their customers! So disappointed in you Clairol! I would give you a Zero if I could! Oh, and the Conditioner they claimed was better sucks too!
Would give zero if could
Would give zero if could
Bought some in asda guiseley
Did test patch as instructed
48 hours later go to dye and then the bottle explodes everywhere causing lots of damages very disappointed and massively put of using cheap dye. Thank god I wore glasses! Photo evidence if company suggests that they're sorry that I feel that way. It should be recalled
The new formula with 'added oil' of…
The new formula with 'added oil' of nice and easy permanent dye- Medium Ash Brown is absolutely rubbish- it is Brass not Ash. And therefore super misleading description on the package. Next step will be with the Standard Marketing Authority.
Clairol Nice n Easy permanent hair colour is no longer permanent!
I've used Clairol Nice n Easy permanent hair colourant for nearly 40 years, always brilliant colour and keeps its colour really well. Except for the last couple of years, when they changed from the liquid colorant in a blue bottle to a tube of white cream colourant. The time before last, my hair came out noticeably lighter than usual. I coloured my hair again 2 weeks ago (I am now naturally grey/white, and dye it medium to light blonde), and I've noticed that the colour has faded quite quickly. Also, I have now found that the underneath hair is almost completely white (I think it was grey before!) and the colour is just getting lighter with every wash. What has happened?? Clairol, please revert to your previous tried and tested formula - I depend on you more than ever now!! I don't know what I'm going to do now, as other brands have never been anywhere near as good as the old Clairol. Your latest "new improved" formula is useless. If you don't make the requested changes, you will soon lose decades' worth of loyal customers. P.S. I recently bought 6 packs of your "new improved" product - I, like many others, would like a refund.
Nice and easy making my hair fall out
I used to use nice and easy In the 90's early 2000's. It was cheap and good. Then Julia Louis dreyfus started doing commercials for it and got expensive so I stopped. I switched to Revlon color silk but got tired of the bleeding and making my jewelry black around my neck. I use black shades. Well started spending more for better brands, difference companies. All good. Decided to try nice and easy after many years of not using it. Got a black shade, don't remember which one. Anyways I put it on and didn't feel anything weird. Just like any other dye. Went to rinse it out in the shower my head started burning. My hair just kept coming out SO MUCH it was scaring me. The conditioner seemed like it would never rinse out and hair kept coming out. From the root! It's been over a week now just washed my hair again using regular shampoo and conditioner. Still burning scalp, burning eyes and hair coming out. It's like the dye is not staying and trying to come off but won't. The lather from the conditioner mixed with the remaining dye chemicals made the lather thick and not normal. I'm just super pissed and worried. Of course I don't have the box because I wasn't thinking this kinda thing would ever happen from a major company. I'm never using anything from Clairol again not just nice and easy. I hope after a couple of more rinses It will stop. I have thick hair but that won't last long if this keeps going. My hair is my pride I'm not happy and just worried.
Great

Do not buy Nice and Easy hair dye.
I used Nice and Easy Light Ash Blond on my blond/grey hair today. I'm horrified by the result, I now have pinky purple hair. I'm so upset and don't know what to do to rectify it. My scalp feels sensitive too. A total disaster. Do not buy this product.
What happened with this dye.
Just finished using nice n easy 9b light beige blonde. I don’t know if they’ve changed the formula. But wow the smell was so strong and full on. My eyes felt like they were burning while using it. I opened the window and door while using it and still found it hard to breathe while using. It felt like I had mixed together chemicals that shouldn’t be mixed. I’ve used nice n easy many times over the years and never had this happen. Before. This felt like using straight bleach. Never will I ever use this again. Definitely don’t recommend at all.
Bring back the old formula
Have been using Clairol medium ash blonde hair dye for years. Always been happy with colour and condition until they brought out their new and improved formula. It’s more runny, colour too light and the conditioner doesn’t make your hair shiny or brittle free, unlike the old conditioner. I know this because I had an unopened old tube of conditioner and, wow, what a difference to the condition of my hair after dyeing.
The colour was medium ash blond
The colour was medium ash blond. The result is brown! An awful dull brown. Most disappointing
