Didn't color at all
Bought the sunset rose colorstrong to go from a medium strawberry blonde to more a solid reddish color. Followed all instructions and it didn't change my color at all. And I mean not at all. Very disappointed and will never buy this brand again
I have been using nice and easy for…
I have been using nice and easy for more years than I can count and lived the colour match to my hair. The colour I buy is medium brown number 5. Brought a bottle and mixed it and notice not a lot of smell and the formula had a pink tone amd when mixing turned purple, I thought I’m not putting thst on my hair, so I went and brought another so in total cost me £14 so not affordable, same thing slightly less pink so I used it as Thougjt maybe formula had changed. Results off green highlights where my greys are. Gutted as 2 interviews coming up and don’t want to look stupid. I also could not afford £14 on hair dye thst ruined my hair. I would like a refund L’Oréal. Needless to say will not be using this product again. Rather be grey

The last 2 times my hair has not covered very well and seems lighter than usual .Use brown/black .Greys not covering evenly
permanent hair dye quality deteriorated
I’ve been using Clairol permanent hair dye for about 20 years, but over the last few years the colour has started bleeding onto towels for weeks after dyeing, which has led me to switch to Wella.
My older sister has vision problems at…
My older sister has vision problems at the moment so, I coloured her hair with the usual Medium Honey Blonde, last time, her hair had patches of Grey, this time when I did my own hair Light Beige Blonde, I can see my scalp a little more at the top and my head is sore, I ALWAYS rinse until I can no longer feel slimy hair and the water MUST be clear, I have ALWAYS done that, I will NEVER colour my hair again, never, Thanks very much Nice 'N' Easy.
Changed ingredients beware if you have asthma
I have been using Nice’n Easy 9B for years and never had a problem. The first thing I noticed was the liquid in the bottle was less. I the mixed it with the colour. The smell hit me straight away. It smelkedlike it did when my mum used to bleached her hair in the 70’s . Almost immediately i couldn’t breathe and had to get my inhaler. It’s actually given me an asthma attack. I’ve had to rinse it off before it took.
I have no idea why you have changed it but it was grey ish purple when it came out rather than the white.
I will be writing a complaint to head office. And will jot be using again. Very disappointed.
Does not give the colour it states
what my problem is, is that I have brought hair dye from you in the colour amber I have put it in my hair let it sat for 15 mins I’ve wasted it out and it has came back out red this is unacceptable for this to happen and now I have to walk around on with this bad colour in my hair I have been crying my eyes bawls out this is unacceptable again
Yuck
Yuck! Far too runny and a strange colour too. The coverage is not is good as the original Nice 'n Easy either - such a disappointment!
2 stars for a reason!
I agree with all the other reviews, the quality of Nice and Easy permanent has gone down the pan! I've been using the black hair dye for 15+ years and since the product change, the grey coverage is really poor compared to before and has washed/ scratched off by week 4, plus the formula irritates my scalp a lot more more. And the conditioner just leaves my hair feeling claggy. Whoever thought it a good idea to change the formula should be sacked! And don't bother with the ammonia free one as that's even worse for coverage. Definitely time to change to a different brand!

After 20 years of being 100% happy using Nice & Easy Semi & Demi Permanent dye, I today, for the first time used the new product, and I'm so upset. It hardly covered my grey. Now on closer inspection I see that it says Easy Tone & Gloss. I'm so upset, so it's now time to say goodbye Nice & Easy.
clairol colour strong hair
clairol colour strong hair dye does not cover grey at all
I have used the original product of…
I have used the original product of nice n easy semi permanent 90 Dark Ash Blonde for absolutely ages. So pleased when I discovered it. Now, in the new version of the range, I have had to change my colour choice. My hair was left tacky and stiff and did not resemble the colour on the box. The usual conditioner that was amazing is also really poor. I will not be buying this product again. After many years you have lost my custom.
0/10
This product did not do anything at all it was terrible and it was not the colour on the box.
I have medium brown hair
I have medium brown hair, I wanted to go blonde but first went with Golden brown. First time using this brand and I won't go back since the hair dye did nothing. I left it in for 40 minutes and did nothing.

All the negative reviews spooked me a bit, but i can tell that their hair dye pack is amazing!
I am a Male in almost my 40is , and recently i start dying my hair cause of a grey attack !
Used 2 times" Just for men" black hair dye and it was ok, i did not know any difference, but a black color dye went out of stock, at some point, so i tried Clairol instead.
The negative reviews, had me hesitating should i or should i not dye my hair with this product.
And i can tell you honestly, i am more then glad that i did!
Color- booth did the same coloring ish, but after dye with "Just for men" my hair felt so dry and panful to even brush with my own hand,
"Clairol"-in another hand- My Hair was perfect color and perfect feel, no dryness or any discomfort,. i think because of that hair mask (no3) that they include that pack, and the smell after- lovely, kind of coconutty!
So nothing but positive so far !
If I could give zeros stars I would.

Ive used nice & easy for years and the recent changes in formula and ultra gloss condition is terrible. The quality of the condition has gone down so much and is so poor that I had to use my own seperate condition otherwise I couldn't get a comb through the wet hair ( Monday priduct)
The colour mixer also causes scalp irritation and soreness so
currently looking at an alternative hair dye and won't use nice & easy again...because it simply isn't!
Utterly disappointed
I have had multiple sessions of blonde highlights in my hair from a professional salon. Cost me a fortune. Loved my hair but thought I’d try tone it up with your product and I am utterly disappointed. I have used the blonde it up toner in the shade luminous pearl and my blonde highlights have basically gone a browny ginger colour. All of my highlights have disappeared and I’m genuinely back to my normal dark brown hair. I am devastated. After all that money I spent on my hair to get it how I want it. For this product to mess it all up. Looks nothing like the blonde it shows on the box. I would like some compensation or refund on whatever I can be eligible for. Never again am I using this brand.
Nice n easy dark brown #79 is what I've…
Nice n easy dark brown #79 is what I've used for over 10 years now, which, until recently I have been satisfied and delighted with.... With a few model change pics on the box, over the years the product has been consistently everything I had 100% trust and confidence in, until recently..... The soft root line formula is absolutely shocking, it's not soft, it's like toffee. Applied the colour (read the updated instructions). It seemed the same, until, I rinsed out the colour seal conditioner. Wow, I needed to rinse my hair 2 more times, in between blow drying, and eventually had to shampoo my hair 3 times to try and get it out of my hair. Eventually I had to give up and just dry my now dull, lank, toffee feeling hair that would normally be so shiny and looking fab. I haven't a clue what's going on with this "new and improved formula". It's as if silicone was added to it. Threw the other box out and won't be using it again. Time for a new brand. My hair is looking so bad now, lifeless, dull, and certainly not shiny, it's ruined for now. No more clairol.
This is a product I will never buy again consumers be aware !
This is a product I will never by or trust again
I just came off talking with a specialist at clairol about the product I Bought nice and easy 8S which states and is marketed as covering medium brown hair colour to soft silver .. after spending over 30minutes on the phone with her and her asking me questions and me telling her that my hair colour is medium brown, she told me it will not work with nice and easy 8S and that I would need to bleach my hair first in order to get the soft silver !!
That’s a totally avoidance of the company taking responsibility and their organizational behaviour for consumers sucks !
Why ?
First They do not take responsibility for poor marketing, false advertising in consumer laws, consumer rights and protection.
Second Because medium brown is one of the natural hair colour it will take to change it to soft silver !!
Third the marketing for this product on the package itself clearly states it is suitable for medium brown hair and even gives the colour results on the packaging for this medium brown hair ! When I questioned this and suggested the company puts a disclaimer on their website so that people like myself do not buy this product and waste their time in colouring the hair and calling clairol as it doesn’t work, I was rebuffed so all in all be aware if you have medium brown hair this product will not work.. needless to say I will not be buying this product again !
