I have played the game before
I have played the game before, so much fun. I was porch pirated so somebody new is hopefully learning the job of this really really fun game!
Email support wasnt too helpful but calling in was very good
I had 3 items ordered, one of them wasnt dispatched (perhaps it was missed and then needed a backorder), I emailed to ask whats my options but just had generic feeling replies. I called in and spoke to Vanessa, she was really helpful, split the orders up and even applied a sales discount on one of the items. From having a bad experience via email to a fantastic one via the call support really changed my view here.
Victory Point Transfer Coupons
I have purchased games totalling a significant amount from Zatu since my first order (which I believe was December 2020). I was shocked when I totalled it up- it is over £1800!
In the past, I had a couple of Zatu orders where I pre-ordered/back-ordered items. I was happy to wait but when the due in date kept being moved I did find it frustrating and for a couple of orders I ended up waiting months (more than estimated) for my order to be dispatched and to arrive.
Zatu was pretty helpful, to a degree, when I emailed to ask for updates. Plus, for my most recent order, I did really appreciate Zatu's help- they swapped an item so I could get my order sooner as the original item kept having the back-order date moved multiple times.
However, I am really frustrated by the Victory Points. To my knowledge I never used/never really used my Victory Points. Recently Zatu changed the policy and reward system. In March 2026, I received an email from Zatu with the subject line 'Zatu Victory Point Transfer Coupons'. I had six £7.50 coupons and one £1.75 coupon. So, I had a total of £46.75.
I cannot really afford to buy games at the moment. But, I hoped that I could use the coupons and get a game as a treat (the last few months have been very stressful). I finally had time to have a look a few days ago, but I discovered there were rules! These were: minimum spend of £25, not valid with any other discount codes and one code per order.
This was so disappointing. I can't stack the codes, so each code would have to be used one at a time. The Zatu 3% and 5% offer cannot be used and there isn't free shipping. So, basically the reward coupon is covering the shipping. It doesn't feel like a reward to be honest. I would have to place seven orders! Each over £25 and the coupons will only really cover the postage!
I contacted Zatu to see if they could help and provide one voucher instead of seven. They replied today and there is nothing they can do. They said the new system has less limits, but that doesn't help me with the rewards I have at the moment.
I even tried to see if I could purchase gift cards with the points, but that is also not possible- not even if I spend £25 on gift cards in one order.
With Zatu, I have spent over £1800 and, when you think about it, I have only earned £46.72. I believe that is only around 2.6% of what I have spent with Zatu. And yes I know a reward scheme is an extra and companies can't afford to give out rewards left, right and centre; but that amount of rewards for the amount I spent with Zatu is minimal.
I appreciate they have changed the reward system and this is the old system. But why do companies have reward systems which don't actually feel like a benefit for the customer? If a company is going to have a reward system, it should encourage customers to shop and spend money. It should feel like a bonus and it should be customer friendly. If reward coupons can stack, it encourages me (and other customers) to shop on a site (when I have the budget to) because I feel I am gaining rewards that I can then save up and use on an order to get myself a bonus treat. Why have a reward system which feels more like it benefits the company? A reward system which still gets as much money from the customer as possible? A system which means customers have to keep ordering to use all EARNED rewards. I earned the rewards and there should be better and more flexible ways for me, as a customer, to benefit from the rewards I earned through making purchases on Zatu.
In general, I have more understanding for having rewards not be applicable with other discounts, (unless it is a free shipping offer), but I don't get why rewards cannot be stacked or the maximum amount used at once (rather than in portions). In the majority, and in this case, I feel that rewards should be the equivalent of 'money' earned by a customer- if I want to use it all at once, why should I not?
I find this all ridiculous and I am going to lose out on £46.75 because I don't see the point in placing seven orders of over £25 just to get free shipping for each order (yes, I appreciate that is a saving, but it just doesn't seem worth it. If I could place one order and use all the rewards, I would get 'free shipping' and possibly a game for 'free'). By placing seven orders, I will basically be spending a minimum of £175 on games and I cannot afford that.
It is such a shame that I cannot actually use the rewards in the way I hoped because I would have loved to treat myself to a mood booster in the form of a game.
I don't see the point in bothering to shop with Zatu in the future- they have lost a customer who trusted them with orders and who spent a lot of money with them.
I am frustrated and upset. I do feel really let down by Zatu.

I would not recommend shopping here
I would not recommend shopping with zatu ever, they shipped me a very poorly packaged board game that arrived damaged due the company’s negligence. After getting into contact with the customer support team they were extremely unhelpful and were basically unwilling to attempt to make the situation right. After finally negotiating a replacement that was promised would be delivered to me the next day they then failed to meet this deadline once again due to negligence as they “forgot” to dispatch it on time they told me it would not arrive for 2 more days the representative I spoke to about this issue Kieran was incredibly unhelpful and unwilling to help make the situation right even after this series of issues. Do not order here.
Amazing product
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN YOU HAVE AN ISSUE
I purchased a large order of collectible cards and accessories. Upon opening the binder was damaged but the outer packaging wasn’t. ( packed like it ) All other products perfectly fine also. I contacted Zatu straight away and had to send quite a few photos. I was then told to return the item via Evri. The nearest station was a 30 minute round trip so asked if there was another way. There wasn’t. It’s taken 3 weeks and many emails to finally receive the item I purchased. No real apologies or compensation for my troubles. For a company the charges over retail it was really poor service.
Such an amazing gift for my little…
Such an amazing gift for my little brother thank you so much. He was so happy. I was so happy for that. The smile this gift put in his face.
Smooth overall experience
You would literally have to give me my order free to be any better. Well priced. Shipping was hassle free. Good tracking notifications. No inventory problems ordering via shop. Overall a very smooth experience.
