Data roaming in Germany still does not…
Data roaming in Germany still does not work after many things I tried together with the Ben customer service over the period of 6 months. Its not the phone nor the settings, nor the sim card, nor the account settings or limits that have proved to be the problem. They even sent me another sim card which didn't work either. We have two identical phones and 2 Ben sim cards, and one of those allows data roaming and the other one doesn't. I assume that the T-Mobile network that is behind Ben is blocking the number. As Ben are unable to solve this problem I will now have to switch to another provider with all our phones and numbers.

Fckng s'it customer service. Have been repeating myself as a parrot for more than six months now. It seems they don't understand or they play dumb!
I wanted to do the contracts through a cash back platform. So two of the three contracts went on and were good. It turned out that i couldn't have more than 2 pending.... so i asked about it. So without my consent, the employee went a head and put the 3rd one through. The first thing i asked for is how about my cb? He said no worries until then well figure jt out. Now, months later. I didn't get my 41 euros of cashback and have repeating my self over and over and i feel like throwing my phone to the wall by their responses! Fckng same story every time and i try to explain it but than someone else takes over and gives the same sh't answer!
The employee just cost me 41 euro by him putting the 3rd contact through manually without my consent!
You think I am gonna leave either of the three contracts there? !!!!!!
Edit: F*** you guys scammers. Cashbackxl never received the "click" because your employee f***ed up! So it is your responsibility.

more policy than client focused...
Being a 10 years client, taking always a mobile + subscription 2 year package. I asked for a contract renewal under same program but apparently policies have changed and that service is offered to people not having documents issued by the Dutch government. It was a disappointment to see the luck of trust and flexibility for an existing client... The agent was so blunt and inflexible.. Said, I am sorry in fact we cant give you an alternative you have to probably leave..

despite canceling my contract months ago they continue to send me invoices. Worst communication ever. Employees have no idea what they are talking about and are sharing wrong information. Save yourself a headache and don't do business with these scammers.

Extremely difficult to cancel
It's extremely difficult to cancel your contract with these people. I've been a customer for many years (enough for the costs of my contract to have doubled in that time), and finally wanted to cancel my contract as I am leaving the actual continent. I've been trying to do this for a month now.
First, they did not allow this at all until after you actually move away and provide evidence of that, which means that you'd be paying for services that can't be used for up to another two months.
Then, when they said they'd make an exception, which I was happy about, they proceeded to send me a new, prepaid sim card (the cost of which is a whopping 10 euros with Ben), after I'd explicitly told them I did not want that. The absolute audacity.
Two days ago, after sending many emails, I called a kid from their customer service. They canceled my contract as of a month after that phone call, while I started this process almost a month before I finally called. I will be paying Ben for almost a month after moving abroad, and they are actually breaching the contract at this point. Their response is to go sort it out with my new provider (the one that I am getting a reasonably priced prepaid card with). I consider this theft.
Also, don't believe their happy little tv commercials about being flexible - you can only ever change your contract to be more expensive, you can never downgrade.
Ben, since - as most sh!tty companies do - you seem to invest a lot of time in replying to negative reviews: No, I will not get in touch again via a personal message to solve this issue. If you want to show the internet that you're such a wonderful company, you can cancel my contract per 15 July as I requested 4 weeks ago, and inform me of that at your own initiative. I have a lot to organise, and your company has cost me a ridiculous amount of time recently, simply to cancel a contract after having been a customer for so long.

I had read bad reviews of this company but decided to try a subscription with them anyway.
All the bad predictions have been fulfilled, the first month has already passed and after several complaints my sim card has not arrived.
They will send me an email saying that my invoice will be charged on the 15th. Are they going to charge me for a service that they have not even provided? It is very unfair.
The customer service responds to me and says that they will provide a solution but I am still waiting.
I hope it is not difficult to cancel my subscription with them because apparently this is also a constant complaint from their customers.

I have been with this company with several years. To cancel the subscription is a nightmare. I filled an online form and never got a confirmation. I called days after (spent like more than an hour between various departments and waiting for the next available agent) to finally get a confirmation for the cancellation. Of course the considered the day I called and not the ORIGINAL ONLINE FORM (case number 3195893). So basically they STOLE ME few days of subscription. It is not much about the amount, it is the principle. Stealing is stealing. I would discourage anyone to use BEN. Bad bad bad!!!!!

I previously gave 3 stars. But I want to edit this as the customer support on the phone was very nice and helpful. (A bit of waiting time but it’s understandable as they don’t have a physical store)
Just know that if you’re an expat who just arrived in NL, you need a Dutch bank account before signing up.

Unprofessional customer support. Misinformation about Ukraine call policy
I was misinformed by unprofessional customer support member about Ukraine call policy. I was promised that any bills will be refunded and that calls to Ukraine are completely free of charge (I have a documentation of conversation). I was NOT informed that calls are only ‘free’ if I am calling from Netherlands. I was making my calls from Italy to Ukraine and have just received a €52 bill. Now your customer support tells me ‘there’s nothing they can do’ and all kinds of other basic answers. Customer support didn’t specify the conditions properly, therefore I demand a cancellation of these extra costs, otherwise I will have to look for a new provider. If you would like to fix your reputation — reach out to me.

Astonishingly rude customer service
This customer service was so frustrating! I cancelled my account and am still getting billed 2 months later. I called customer service to ask again that it be cancelled and for a refund for the months after I cancelled the first time. Instead of helping or trying to work with me to find a solution, they simply told me there’s nothing they can do and then actually hung up on me!

You can order a phone off many other websites that will take 2-3 days to be delivered. However, with Ben I ordered my phone and then had to wait 10 days to receive an email about booking an appointment to receive my phone and then the next available delivery date is more than a month later? And the worst is that the Ben website indicates that the phone is available immediately. But it is definitely not, if I knew it was going to take so long I would have ordered from somewhere else. However, as I said Ben phones are competitively priced.
