long delivery time and parts missing
I received my garden gate after approx 8 weeks from ordering being told initially this will take 4-6 weeks. Came without instructions which I had to ask for a couple of times until I got the correct ones. But most importantly came without the correct parts to install it, so I had to pay the handyman for nothing today as installation needs to be further delayed until I will manage to get all the parts from them. to be continued...

DX Freight were then held up due to bank holiday delays, which unfortunately, given they are an independent courier, is outside of our control. I can see the team were working hard to resolve this for you, but I would like to apologise for the inconvenience this may have caused, as I can see there was a bit of confusion with regards to the POD that was shared with you. Bought a garden gate
Bought a garden gate, called customer's sevivce before hand for advice. They were very good, answered my questions. I ordered a bespoke size, which was easy to navigate and order. The delivery came earlier than expected, which was great, with good communication from their driver. The overall quality of the product is very good, but some of the fittings are poor, and I needed to use alternatives for a good install. The instructions are very poor, and unclear. I needed to watch a video from another company to figure out how to install it correctly. I am pleased with the end result.

Small Charity Supported
As a small charity struggling to reopen after the COVID-19 restrictions Barriers Direct gave us a charity discount and then a further discount on a slightly damaged swing gate for our car park. This has helped us massively and we are very grateful. We also felt held and supported by the customer service team.

Unreliable delivery times
Ordered a bollard for a specific job with the reassurance that it would arrive in 3 days. On the day it was due I got an email saying it was no longer in stock despite already having paid for it. I then had to cancel that order and was assured over the phone that the new bollard would come on Tuesday the following week but did not arrive until Friday.

We’ve reviewed the details of your orders. Your original order was placed on 30th July at 11:59, with an estimated delivery date of 5th August, as confirmed in your order confirmation. We notified you of the delay the following day via email, on 31st July at 14:14, so that you could make alternative arrangements and place a replacement order if required.
We’re also sorry that the second order was slightly delayed. Having looked into this, there appears to have been a small hold-up with the product’s coating, which unfortunately affected the delivery time. It’s particularly unfortunate that this happened after you had already experienced a delay with your first order, and we’re sorry for the additional inconvenience this caused.
