The employee who served at the store was very helpful, and polite. The item came with an info book on how to set it up, this was invaluable as an older person I found it easier to set up my box. I am... See more

Very good value for money. We've been using this item for a numbers of weeks and have not had any problems!

Honestly, will not deal with these lot again. Their reselling/rebranding of their BNPL scheme is a farse. They are deliberately making so these plans accrue interest. Do not use them, save up and buy outright.

I know I ordered more than the item I collected, however, I found it is almost impossible to find out what has happened to my other item. It seems that you have to explain to a machine which cannot answer the question

Bought a phone a few weeks ago that's glitching and has a very unreliable Bluetooth connection. Called Argos who said I have to deal with the manufacturer, once they've checked the phone, I can get back to Argos with my reference number and then they'll will deal with me. All of this will take weeks, during which I'm without a phone. Argos clearly don't give a damn about Trading Standards rules (If an item is faulty, your statutory consumer rights are against the retailer – the company that sold you the product – rather than the manufacturer.) They're refusing to help me. I will never buy an expensive product off Argos again.
What a frustrating response.

I purchased a hairdryer online from Argos and returned it after briefly testing it because I immediately discovered that, due to arthritis affecting my hands and fingers, I was unable to fit the attachments or comfortably operate the controls.
I explained this to the colleague in store and made it clear that I was not returning the item because I had changed my mind. I simply needed to establish whether I could physically use the product.
Rather than considering my circumstances, I was told that because I had opened and tried the item, I was not entitled to a refund. When I explained that my arthritis was the reason I could not use it, this appeared to make no difference.
I then contacted Customer Services, but instead of addressing the specific issues I had raised, they simply repeated the general returns policy and stated they could not override the store's decision. They also suggested I try another Argos store, which left me questioning whether the returns policy is being applied consistently.
I was also disappointed to discover that Argos does not appear to provide a clear, accessible written complaints procedure or a dedicated complaints email address. Customers are instead directed to social media, live chat or telephone, making it difficult to submit a detailed formal complaint and retain a clear written record.
In addition, the information available for online purchases differs from the general in-store returns information. The published guidance explains that customers purchasing online may reasonably inspect a product to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning. However, this distinction did not appear to be recognised by either the store or Customer Services when dealing with my complaint.
This review is not about £13.50. It is about the principle of how disabled customers are treated.
My question is simple: How does Argos expect a disabled customer to determine whether they can physically operate an online purchase without opening and briefly testing it?
I hope Argos reviews both its staff training and its complaints process, ensuring that colleagues understand the difference between online consumer rights and general store returns, and that disabled customers receive proper consideration rather than a blanket refusal.

I usually don't like leaving negative feedback but this delivery was bad. Ordered a 24 inch tv for my desk and picked a delivery date of Tuesday 21st July, stayed in all day, yet no delivery. As it was sent with Evri, I had tracking details that did not indicate a delivery for the day. In the evening, I contacted argos as parcel was still not even at delivery hub. Argos reassured that they can see that it's out for delivery. 9pm came and went, no delivery. To be fair, next day Argos offered £5 gift card, but I said that £10 was more appropriate and they issued it as gesture of goodwill. Next day, evri sent a delivery slot of 2 hours which came and went. More waiting in.... 2 and a half hours later someone dumped a tv in a branded box in front of my door. As I noticed the shadow, I opened door, but driver was already delivering at different house across the street. The delivery photo shows him taking it out of his boot, nothing else. I wonder what would have happened if I wouldn't have taken parcel in. Now, most of this is an Evri complaint, but here is where argos really fell short. I contacted them through fb messenger. I was polite and knew this was mostly Evri fault, however, I wanted to make them aware that Evri is really bad in this area, cancelling deliveries and even saying failed delivery when you've been in and not hard of hearing. The second person replying offered a £5 gift card and I informed them that I had been issued with £10 so that wasn't my intention. I was simply making them aware. You get different people responding all the time and they don't bother to read messages. So the third person commented : I can see you have been offered 10 pounds as good will of gesture so that is all we can help from our end.

They don't actually care for the feedback. It was never about money and I said that all along.

Does what it says on the tin. I ordered in the morning, they said it would be in store for collection after 4pm and sure enough I get a message at 3.50pm saying it is ready to collect. I dropped one star for staff trying to sell me insurance that was 30% of the cost of the item.

I have bought a few items online from Argos recently, a Ninja multicooker, a Bosch kettle and toaster amongst other things.
Every item was delivered to my front door, handed to me by the delivery person and with a polite and cheerful attitude, in the specified time window and in excellent condition.
Evri and Royal Mail delivery people could learn a lesson from this company and their staff.
Helpful, cheerful and polite doesn't cost nothing and knocking on a door takes no time at all (if they can even be bothered to climb the stairs to get to it!).
Well Done Argos and Thank You to your delivery staff for doing a stellar job.

I bought and paid for a new bed and mattress in April, and organised for it to be delivered in July when I was ready for it. It pulled up on the correct day ik the correct time frame I was given, to then just drive away as there was a bus coming up behind. I thought it was probably just turning around to park a bit further down where there was room. But no, got a message to say they couldnt access the property and would be in contact to re arrange. I called them the next day, the next available day was nearly a whole week later, accepted it. Cancelled all my plans that day was given a 9am to 5pm window. It got to 4pm, when I received a message saying it wasn't going to be delivered today, get in touch via the link. Once I got in touch I was told it had been damaged in transit and was now out of stock. So my only option was a refund. So Iv now been without a bed for almost 3 week.

Rarely have things I want in stock, when ordering online it waits till you’re paying to say that they don’t have the item.

I was refused a refund contrary to argos policy.
The product was plugged in and tried for compliance but I was refused a refun, they said no refund if it had been tried. the product is too heavy for me to use and does not curl my hair well. Poor service from Argos.
