Ordered a Moses basket and paid extra…
Ordered a Moses basket and paid extra for next day delivery fully expecting a call the following day with a time window . Having waited in all day no call was forthcoming a whole day wasted !!!
I went into the store to try and chase things up only to be told that the delivery service was rubbish since Sainsburys took over so I asked for a refund and was told it would take up to five days to go back into my account . Unacceptable on all counts and I shall never buy from Argos again as I think they are now on limited time .
Shocking customer care
I ordered an electric oven with installation and recycling of existing oven, for my elderly mother. After the engineer left my mum discovered a large dent in the side. An engineer came to inspect it (6 days after delivery) and deemed it not fit for purpose. What has entailed since is endless calls to “customer service” ( now that’s a joke). I chased the supplier , Hotpoint, myself and they provided an up lift number which would enable Argos to order me a replacement. 26 days after first ordering the cooker and 17 days after receiving damaged cooker Argos say to me wait 48 hours. They say this every day, they talk over me, don’t listen, never apologise and certainly HAVENT SORTED ME A REPLACEMENT. If you are thinking of buying a large appliance from Argos my advice would be don’t because if it is damaged or faulty you will have to spend most of your time trying to get a replacement. My mum has me to deal with them as she would never be able to deal with this totally shambles of a company. And please if you read this, argos, don’t tell me to ring “customer services”

I ordered a printer on Saturday and have not received an order confirmation, neither have I received the printer, although payment has left my account. There is absolutely no customer service worth the name - just the most stupid chatbot I’ve ever experienced. It looks as though I will have to visit the store to cancel my order.
Totally hopeless!!
Purchased Bosch TAT2M123GB MyMoment…
Purchased Bosch TAT2M123GB MyMoment Delight 2 Slice Toaster - Black today.
It's great, it's a simple with just three controls: defrost, temperature control and eject, that's it. Great design, even simple suckers on feet so it doesn't move around. Temperature dial clicks and is accurate. Great purchase so far.
Package received damaged and incomplete
I ordered a roller blind off of the website and when I went to pick it up from my local Sainsbury's store, the top was missing from the box, which I didn't realise until I'd left the store. When I got home I checked what was in the package and all the fixings were missing. I'm really disappointed that they could send something out in this condition. I tried to write a review of the product on their website, but I couldn't find any link on the reviews page that would enable me to do so. All in all, a very poor experience
Top draw experience
I visited Argos Redditch to collect an item that I had purchased the previous day, three items actually. The person who served me who I believe to be the manager was the most helpful and knowledgable person in a customer facing position that I have experienced for many a year, in any store. Not only the above but she was very jolly which made a mundane visit very pleasant. A feather in her hat !!
Absolutely terrible shop ever since…
Absolutely terrible shop ever since they decided to save money by having their lousy shop inside Sainsburys they are never in stock of anything.
If they can not run a shop correctly it's time they closed the joke of the shop down.
Excellent and efficient delivery
I had a sofa delivered by Argos today. They phoned to say when they'd arrive and they arrived on time. The 2 boxes were huge, only just fit through the doorways barely a cm to spare .The 2 chaps were incredibly efficient and professional, they were polite too. They worked together so smoothly, each knew and understood what the other was planning with minimal conversing.
I cannot find fault, and I am so very grateful. I was stunned by the impressive way they worked together. Unfortunately I didnt get their names and they didn't hang around for the cold drink I offered. The customer service and professionalism i witnessed today will not be forgotten. I truly hope they get the praise they deserve and pay rise of course! Thankyou so much chaps,i'm sorry I didn't get your names.

Is anybody else having issues with Argos deliveries lately? A parcel due on Monday was delivered on
Tuesday…..stayed in all day, 7. 30 am to 9pm was the booked delivery time. Luckily the courier caught me next day when I was leaving the home. A couple of weeks ago, same thing. Ok, still time for another delivery today, at 5. 30, but I have no faith this order will arrive today. Until recently we could choose morning or afternoon slot but now it’s for the whole day. Argos deliveries were reliably good but not now. Why???
hassle free exchange
bought product - wasn't happy with it - they kindly exchanged.
Genuinely the most frustrating…
Genuinely the most frustrating experience of my life. Had two items to return, no option to enter two order numbers. One hour and six minutes later, still no resolution. The AI customer bot is set up to make things as difficult as possible. Seriously, it's designed to make the return process as complicated as possible. By the time you get through to their customer services you're so pent up with anger that you can't communicate. And OBVIOUSLY their customer service centre is in India. If spent a fortune in Argos over the years, but this experience has been enough that I'll never use them again. NEVER again..
Would like to give 0 stars ordered on…
Would like to give 0 stars ordered on line but order didn't complete argos now has almost £400 of my money as a pending payment they refused to cancel or complete order. Spent almost 3hrs on online chat which didn't resolve the problem was told a manager would contact me within 24hrs this didn't happen. Absolute shambles.
Useless system down for drop off collection
Used as a drop off for royal mail parcel, went to collect and the system was down, would not let me take my parcel for which I paid special delivery as I needed it urgently, this was a Saturday, I was told it would be minimum Tuesday before the system would be active again, what a disgrace
Bought an item from Argos and was told…
Bought an item from Argos and was told to collect it after 9am next day, walk back up the town at midday the next day only to be told it was not In yet. Told them to stick it and bought the item online, cheaper than Argos with free delivery. I find Argos like Sainsbury's is rapidly going. downhill.
Staff at Argos in Sainsburys
Staff at Argos in Sainsburys, Castlepoint Bournemouth. Very polite, friendly and helpful. Staff member Linette took the time to find a parcel for me that had been left in the warehouse, she went above &, beyond to give excellent customer service.
very rude and unhelpful member of staff…
very rude and unhelpful member of staff in Argos store today. ( Winnersh Reading ) if you have a disability they WILL discriminate
Would have given zero stars :(
Purchased an air fryer from Argos 'click and collect ' and it was delivered to my local sainsbury branch in a used condition with scratches to the top of the appliance .
The outer box looked like it had been handled badly in transit with the security seal stickers broken, the cardboard box had rips and holes throughout.
Inside someone had made an attempt to make a factory seal by loosely wrapping cellophane around the unit , the plug with its lead uncoiled with the cable tie wrap loose at the bottom of the box.
In summary it was second hand and had been sent out to me without any quality control or proper attempt to refurbish !
So another drive to store to get a refund as there is no telephone or email option to complain, argos now use social media as a point of contact whatsapp , X etc which seems super sketchy for a big company ?
The Argos brand is so diluted now can't see it lasting many more years tbh.
They've mini hubs within sainsburys , the branch i collected from today had its Argos terminal broken and out of order .
More often than not they have nothing in stock requiring a next day or week delivery which defeats the whole objective of what the Argos brand used to be - a store you could get anything the same day for convenience over the counter there and then except for large goods .
Will be using Amazon in future so I dont have to do multiple car journeys and they have a proper quality control / communication platform .
So been trying too get Argos pay sorted…
So been trying too get Argos pay sorted so I am registered with disability I suffer with seizures short term memory loss I was given an account number by email.7353619086552069.
