AQATA - Luxury Shower Screens & Enclosures Reviews 

We purchased an AQATA shower enclosure because of the quality and it was a British make. The enclosure was fitted in May 2024 and looks amazing. However, after using the shower only a few times the bottom rollers have come apart and come off the sliding door. Unfortunately the company closed around July 2024 making our 10 year warranty void. We’re not sure if the door came with the rollers fitted or, if the installer fitted them. We are concerned if the top rollers will also fail potentially making the door unsafe.

Absolutely appalling levels of customer service.
We ordered Aqata taps via a retailer in early July, and still cannot get a clear date for delivery of finished parts, 4.5 months later. We have had to move plumbers, bathroom fitters and other trades several times, at significant cost. Every time we get a rough deadline of when things might be ready, Aqata then lets us down. Any updates have to be chased multiple times and are not provided proactively.
Honestly one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had. Avoid this company.

We have an issue with a shower valve.
AQATA is not able to confirm the part number for their own product. We have been in touch with them for about two weeks. Totally ridiculous....so disappointing

RE1 - You could have told me it is discontinued. We have 18 emails in our email discussion. Waste of time!!!

RE2 - After about two hours online same cartridge was found. Give it a try. It was the same part, already installed and working perfectly. Shame on you for this.

Shower enclosure purchased due to 1. Advice of merchants 2. Quality and 3. UK Manufacturing. Despite being expensive compared to competitors the design is flawed and the doors are very difficult to hook on the channel such that they don't come off. Overall do not buy Aquata - design issues and serviceability problem. Spend your money elsewhere.

I called Aqata with respect to the need to replace a split bottom door seal on my Aquata shower enclosure. The person I spoke to (Tanya) was extremely helpful and I received replacement set of seals within 2 days. Great customer service and I highly recommend them.

Super quick response on email, top top service.

An Aqata double door screen was installed 2011.
During that time, it has been extensively used, the chrome coating shows no sign of wear the same can be said of the ‘plastic’ screens.
It has been necessary to replace one of the wheels; in contacting Aqata they proved to be very helpful and quickly identified the replacement item I required even after 11 years. Highly Recommended.

Contacted Aqata Shower Enclosures about replacement wheels for our shower doors on Monday. They arrived today Wednesday, which I consider to be excellent service from a first class company. The original wheels lasted an incredible fifteen years which is far better than I expected. Definitely a company I can wholeheartedly recommend.

I have a rental property and one of the chrome knobs on the shower door disappeared. I contacted Tanya at AQATA and she was very efficient. I emailed a photo and she sent a replacement out without charge. Brilliant service, and very happy to recommend.

My son has an Aqata curved shower enclosure which has been in daily use for over 20 years. Unfortunately a few days ago one of the door runner wheels broke up. I emailed Aqata enquiring whether the runner wheel could be replaced and if so whether replacements were available. Within less than an hour I received a helpful reply from Jo Long confirming availability and providing a link to the website to order. There are two positives, firstly that spare parts were still available at Aqata for a product which is over 20 years old, and secondly the very prompt and helpful reply from Jo Long.

Needed to replace hinges and a door seal for our shower door after giving us long service and ordered parts for miss matching doors. Super service in spotting my error and correcting it for me. Super service and very professional. Thank you.

I needed a part for our shower door, and really did not expect to be able to get it as I could not find the model number of the enclosure we have. I called Aqata, and got through quickly to a really helpful member of staff who suggested I send a photo of the door and the relevant part. I got a very quick response explaining exactly what I needed with a link to the relevant part on their website.
So unusual these days to get through quickly, to speak to someone who is helpful and knows what they are doing.

No-one likes it when things go wrong... but it's how it gets put right that matters. Nicola and team did a great job responding when our enclosure shattered after 2 years, and provided a new enclosure and foc fitting without hesitation. We were told that it happens very rarely, but they stepped up to the plate and resolved it without fuss. Great after sales service.

We had a problem with our aluminium door frame. We reported it to Aquata together with photographs. They responded by sending an engineer to review our problem and the installation. His recommendation resulted in a complete new frame and glass panel being provided and installed completely free of charge. On top of that, there was no mess and it was all left in excellent working condition. The Aqata engineer was able to point out several areas of incorrect assembly by the original installers from about 9 years previously.
I think this was outstanding service on a 9-year old shower. It is a pity they don't make cars too!

I bought a lovely shower door a few years ago and was absolutely delighted with it. I found I needed some new seals as they discoloured with the limescale etc. I noted the make was on the door and phoned the company not sure if they could help as I didn’t have the model number! They said NO PROBLEM, and I sent a picture and they identified the model. I bought the new seal kit. They were so helpful and friendly and got back to me when they said they would. Amazing service as well as a great product. I highly recommend them!!!!
