Per Fed Ex’s tracking, they broke one shipment, and then lost the replacement shipment. Without blaming anyone, customer service (Patty and others) acknowledged there was a problem and presented me with a choice of solutions to best satisfy me. The third attempt arrived over the weekend and today they followed up to be sure I was totally satisfied.
We've been ordering cases of wine from Wine Insiders for a number of years. On rare occasions, we might find a bottle that is not to our liking. A simple call to one of their service representatives and (no questions asked), they easily offer a credit to our next purchase. Overall, we like their wine and will continue ordering from them.
Wine Insiders is my go-to for keeping the house fully stocked, and also when I need to buy gifts.
The selection is immense, and I’ve been able to try new varietals from new regions at great prices.
And they have a deal, it’s a steal!
Open your case as soon as you get it. There were only 5 bottles in my case of 6. Customer service finally came through after numerous questions and holds regarding tampering and refunds. After offering a store credit, which would have required me to place yet another order, they agreed to refund my card for one bottle. Not worth the hassle. Drives me to drink.
It is verrrrry seldom when something goes wrong but when it does, WineInsiders customer service makes it right! They are pretty close to the customer service at Chewy.com. That is saying a LOT! I have been a faithful customer for a lonnnnnggg time and now I can highly recommend them! Cheers!
I ve tried a couple of bottles so far. The Australian Wollombi Sgiraz the Quarata Cab from the Colubia Valkey, and the G P C Zin from Lodi. None of the stand out. All were drinkable but not a reorder. I like a more bold vivart taste. I have several other bottles to try. If I find one that I enjoy I will share it in another review and order more.
So far so good. Wines are pretty good and the occasional promotional prices make them even better. I’d signed up for a quarterly subscription but I opted out because I drink too much and needed a refill asap. The home delivery is great so I don’t get any more DUIs driving to buy more wine. Customer service is also pretty good. That annoying trailer trash, Alicia (who left a 1 star review) is probably just angry because she’s fat and single. Cheers!
I’ve been a customer for years and would by wine by the case. Each time I placed an order the price was great. Today’s Interaction wasn’t good. The prices for the cases went up by alot. I’ve made purchases from other outlets when I found excellent deals but would always buy again from wine insiders. The completion still has great prices. I don’t know why wine insiders has raised prices so much

March24 the they took my money. It's 04.02.2025 I still don't have the wine I ordered! LIARS! 3 DAYS IS BS! They wouldn't cancel my order after less than 24 hrs when I explained that my daughter was having emergency brain surgery and I needed to be with her. So I had to find someone to loan me money to be there with her. Then they delivered the order 3 times to the wrong door even though I provided fed ex with an address where an adult would be home all times. They still tried to deliver to my address but couldn't tell the difference between a huge 1 on a door and a 3. So I contacted them about getting the address switched to my sister's house a few roads over and they decided to just ship it back to themselves! Ok if it's as crappy as your service then ENJOY! ITS BEEN MORE THAN A WEEK AND I DONT HAVE MY WINE OR MY MONEY! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THEY ARE LIARS, YOU ARE NOT GETTING YOUR WINE IN 3 DAYS BECAUSE THE DELIVERY DRIVERS DONT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A ONE AND A THREE. THEN WHEN YOU GIVE THEM AN ADDRESS THEY CANT SCREW UP, THEY WILL JUST SHIP IT BACK TO THEMSELVES, MORE POWER TO YOU, GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK SO I CAN DO BUSINESS WITH ACTUAL BUSINESS PEOPLE! Ordered on 03.23.25. and it's April 3rd- no wine nor my money back!

I have been ordering from Wineinsiders.com for years and have up until recently never had a problem with deliveries. I ordered a gift of 6 bottles to be sent to my brother in Brooklyn in time for Super bowl Sunday and he never received it. We always use a FEDEX drop off such as Walgreens and never had a problem until these last 2 orders. I requested a cancelation and refund since it past the Super bowl day and still haven't been given my refund. This company is changing and not for the better. Please note there is again NO PHONE NUMBER for customer service and their reps are out of the country so BUYER BEWARE! I personally am done with this company the stress they caused was overwhelming to both my brother and myself.

I do not have a complaint about the wine, just a recent promotion. If I ordered 14 bottles of wine at 9.99 per bottle, I was to receive a magnum free. I ordered 15 bottles and did not receive the gift bottle. Called the company and a lame excuse of ordering too much wine. ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!

Great experience ordering the wine and it was delivered promptly and with care. The only issue I see is when ordering more than one "curated" set of 3 or six you get duplicate bottles if wine. Of the 15 I ordered (set of 6, 6, and 3) there were 5 bottles that were duplicates. I would have hoped that they would be more aware of this and at least change out the duplicate bottles for something else.
That's the only comment/suggestion for the future.
PLEASE, Please take notice of the 41% one star reviews before ordering!! I wish I had noticed this before spending a great deal of money on a case of wine for a friends birthday. If I could give a negative star rating for service and delivery, I would. My birthday gift of a case of wine arrived damaged with broken bottle that damaged the labels of other bottles and cut the hand of the gift recipient. I called and I emailed Wine Insiders immediately. After multiple attempts to get someone on the phone, I did talk to a customer service rep. I was offered $25 online credit for a future order initially and then, after "speaking with management," they added another $20. Why do they think I would ever order from them again with the worst customer service I have experienced in a very long time?? I know they have insurance on these Fedex deliveries. I sent 3 photos showing the broken bottle and the damaged box. This was a gift!! I asked them to redeliver the case of wine and asked if they can have Fedex pick up the damaged box with remaining bottles. They refused and/but stated they would be using my photos to address Fedex, and more than likely they will be getting a refund from Fedex themselves. DO NOT order from this company.

I lived in California my entire life and got used to California wines. Then I moved to a small rural town in Nevada and the wines here are mediocre at best. I was so happy to discover Wine Insiders (thanks to a $30 gift certificate). I ordered a collection of 3 reds and 3 whites. The shipment arrived right on time and the wines are delicious! Thank you Wine Insiders for such a wonderful experience. I'll order again.
The wine selection is good and price is cheap, but all wines r spoiled. For the wine is really important way of storing and transporting, so wines this company offers good just for cooking

I tried to make an order but one of the wines was out of stock and the order wouldn’t go through. When I tried again the order was doubled and I still could not delete/modify the order. Frustrating!! So, I’ll have to order somewhere else….
