So easy to navigate and get the right cover for my trip

I hired a car in the Gold Coast in Jan and it was slightly damaged while in a car park. At the same time I was diagnosed with cancer so it has taken til now that I have been able to put in a claim. From the time I lodged the claim to being advised that my claim had been authorised was less than 24 hours. First time I have used Travel Protec DEFINITELY not the last.

Was left in the USA for 2 days without coverage after our flight cancelled on a Friday night as no staff available on phone or website to extend coverage. Told to ring back on the Monday to extend as only open Mon - Fri business hours. I was back in Sydney on Monday thank god NOTHING happened to us as it would have been financially catastrophic!

Very fair on price and extremely easy to sign up, only a few short steps. I added the motorcycle/moped pack and on the app it said it wasn’t included. So I contacted and they assured me it was included and sent me another copy as proof. The app never corrected which was a little frustrating but the team assured me it was included and were super friendly. Will definitely use again!

Very easy and prompt service from the company

I had the cover protection for my trip to Indonesia, as I didn't need to make a claim, because nothing happened for me to do so, so I can't give a practical experience for the policy that I took out, however, the process of applying for the cover went very well and so I will more than likely use your company again later in the year when I travel to Japan.

Ask me again after my trip.
At present, I only have the experience of buying, which was easy.
One observation. I chose you after you ranked high in a site called Compare. When I went directly to your site and bought my insurance, it was more than $200 less than the compare quote. You might want to look into this.

I can't really comment on the service, because I didn't have to claim. But it seemed like it would have been straight forward to claim if needed

Would you ever think you would be on a medivac helicopter flight!! Well unfortunately on a recent hiking trip in New Zealand, I had an unexpected medical emergency and I was had to be taken to off to hospital in a helicopter! So glad I took out a travel insurance policy with Travel Protect!! Robin Assist made the claim process easy for me at a very stressful time. Once I had the claim number which was immediate after contacting them by phone, I communicated with Robin Assist over email. They were quick to respond and efficient in paying the claims. Easy site to navigate Prices are reasonable and reviews were good.

Firstly a good and reasonable price. Next no excess on Cars. Important when not driving. A choice of luggage and cancellation. Most other policies do not give you the choice. When travelling in Australia our medical costs are covered by medicare plus no one takes as much luggage away as one does overseas and also travel costs are not as expensive as overseas.

Purchase was simple, all good.
However only if I need to make a claim will I know how good the policy/service is.
