Really good from start to finish. They were always able to schedule viewing times that suited us, even at short notice. Emily McEwan was so helpful and encouraging throughout - once we had the survey... See more

I have just put my house on the market in Lincoln with inego 2 weeks & lots of problems renaging on original conversations viewings etc communication very poor already despairing
Too many chefs and not enough cooks
Had an incredibly frustrating experience attempting to launch our property on to the market with Inigo, dealing with over 4 individuals before we were even allocated our 'Sales Advisor'. Completely wasted my time preparing the house for a photo shoot (which was a three hour drive away), only to be told on the morning of the shoot, that the photographer was actually in Portugal. A simple confirmation email to both myself and the photographer a few days beforehand could have saved so much time. Definitely too many chefs and not enough cooks. Despite their convincing sales pitches and charming interior shots, there are too many colleagues obviously having trouble working together towards the same goal... I would continually receive endless 'out of office' emails, and have to leave endless phone messages - alarm bells had started ringing. I recommend sticking to local agents who are familiar with the area, meet you in person and know the property. Our local agent came to the rescue, sent a photographer over that same day, has a dedicated sales team and charge half the agency fee.
The most stressful and traumatic…
The most stressful and traumatic experience of buying a home ever. This review is about Inigo, a sister agency to the Modern House.
Inigo is an online agency and is not your traditional agent- this means you rarely speak to the same person, they have no understanding of local areas, and when more than one party are interested in a house, they don’t have another property to make another sale- so it’s in their interest to set up what felt like a dog fight.
For three months we put down offers on a house, having been told by Inigo that “they don’t do sealed bids”, which we ended up arriving at. We won the sealed bid, however we now know that we were bidding against ourselves in the final stages. Up until that point, our offers were used 3 times to get the other party to raise their offer. They even used our offer as leverage when it had expired! Once we had won the sealed bid, we discovered that the agents knew we were going to get gazumped and didn’t try to prevent it or give us a fair chance at offering again.
This whole process caused a lot of mental health issues and personal trauma for us. We now know that the other bidders had a mutual friend with the sellers. We were never going to secure this home. We feel used and exploited. This would never happen with a traditional agent- USE HIGH STREET ESTATE AGENTS- not this terrible company.
Inigo are inexperienced and unprofessional and it should be illegal for them to be responsible for large sums of money.
I urge people to look past the *great* branding advice and pictures that they use to charge a premium. They didn’t even do proper due diligence- saying they didn’t do sealed bids is a joke as that’s a standard practice. It was like dealing with children.
Excellent and professional service.
The service that they offered and we received was first class. We have no complaint about their service, both our telephone calls and emails were answered quickly, efficiently and professionally.
We would certainly recommend them and more importantly use them again.
Looks good, bad taste!
Arranged to view a property on a Sunday, travelled 3 1/2hrs to the appointment, waited and waited, a no show on their part, no phone call, a whole day wasted, never any explanation offered! Lovely pictures, lousy service!
Terrible company

Lovely pictures but shambolic service
Never anyone to take a call and messages are not returned
