The quote I received was brilliant and £500 cheaper than my usual insurer! I went back to them and asked them to match but they couldn't get anywhere close. I even checked that everything in my current policy was covered by the AAs and it was. Having been covered by their breakdown service for years, it makes sense to trust them with my insurance. Absolutely A*
Good product, just what I was looking for at a competitive price, very pleased.
I chose AA car insurance b3cause the access rates were lower than some other companies I tried. I do think the premiums are extremely high, especially for Pensioner's who do very minimal mileage.
The policy I chose was £525.56 pa on less than 1500 miles a year and no accidents in 14 years. I feel this is very high. The accident I had was not my fault either, in fact the car was unattended at the time.

the agent I spoke to was very clear and helpful making sure he answered and I understood the queries I had.
Smooth discussion athough it took some time. Good price. But I am left uncertain how I access my account with them so alas another phone call.

I disliked your refusal of my evidence of 9 years No Claims on my car insurance because the evidence Lloyds sent me did not include my address etc. Lloyds took over from Halifax a couple of months ago and my details were no longer on Halifax's site.
I really liked the young man at AA who helped me sort this out. He was extremely kind and patient, and at his suggestion I found on my computer a reminder of expiry from Halifax which he accepted. It was so nice to speak to a real person, especially a young one. I am 83 and the snag with forms on the internet is the answer has to be yes or no, with no room for explanation of any variation. So please keep employing such lovely people on your helpline.

Went though a compare site and found it was very easy to get insurance sorted.
My only issue is that you have to do breakdown cover when taking out insurance which has various options bit not one for Already an AA member
